Aisha N. Braveboy was elected County Executive of Prince George's County on June 3, 2025, during a special election and was sworn in as County Executive on June 19, 2025, after serving six years as Prince George’s County State’s Attorney.

Remaining true to our commitment of service, In her last two days as State’s Attorney, Ms. Braveboy remained focused on delivering justice for the people of Prince George’s County. She was engaged in a two-week jury trial that resulted in a first-degree murder conviction. She also took immediate action on two of her key priorities as County Executive: Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) and public safety. Anticipating the removal of the PGCPS Superintendent, she acted quickly to unite stakeholders behind her choice of an Interim Superintendent. She also identified and rallied support for a new Police Chief, an internal candidate from the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) who is community-focused and deeply familiar with the County.

County Executive Braveboy is a lifelong public servant, uniquely distinguished in County history for having served in all three branches of government: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. She was twice elected State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County, first in 2018 and again in 2022, representing over one million residents. In that role, she managed a $24 million budget and a staff of over 200. As the County’s top law enforcement officer, she secured over a 90% conviction rate in homicide cases and implemented programs to reduce recidivism, support survivors of domestic violence, address hate crimes, and combat gun violence. As County Executive, she will continue to advance a comprehensive public safety strategy to build stronger, safer communities.

Ms. Braveboy began her public service career in the Executive Branch of County government, where she gained expertise in the County’s budget process and worked on major projects such as the development of the National Harbor and Woodmore Towne Center. She learned the importance of cross-branch collaboration to achieve results. Later, she was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates to represent the 25th Legislative District. As the youngest chair (at the time) of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland, she led the passage of key legislation including raising the school dropout age from 16 to 18 to help young people avoid life-altering decisions that would hinder future success.

While serving in the legislature, Ms. Braveboy also started her own law practice. When the mortgage crisis struck, she took on many clients pro bono and held foreclosure mitigation workshops across the County, connecting attorneys, lenders, and distressed homeowners. After eight years in the legislature, she became Manager of Government Affairs at Children’s National, where she led the effort to bring a Children’s National outpatient clinic to Woodmore Towne Center. There, she also championed the educational rights of hospitalized children with disabilities and developed trauma-informed training for resource officers and judges.

Ms. Braveboy has said she loved her job as State’s Attorney, but it was from that vantage point that she saw the unmet needs of County residents. Her cumulative experience in County government, the State Legislature, private practice, and law enforcement has refined her leadership and administrative abilities.

County Executive Braveboy is a promise-keeper. Her priorities include cleaning up County communities, streets, and roadways to reflect residents’ values; making Prince George’s County Public Schools the best in Maryland; focusing on job creation and youth investment; and maintaining a strong commitment to public safety. She has begun assembling a team of experienced professionals to help advance these priorities.

Born in Washington, D.C., Ms. Braveboy is a proud product of Prince George’s County Public Schools and a graduate of Largo High School. She earned a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a J.D. from Howard University School of Law in 2000. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar the same year.

Ingrid S. Watson was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation in January 2026. Ingrid has over two decades of experience in government with established experience in policy development, strategic planning, sustainable, community-driven economic development, fiscal policy, workforce strategy, and business growth. Ingrid’s strong partnerships with stakeholders has led to collaborative projects that enhance the county’s economic landscape. Ingrid was elected in 2022 to serve as the Prince George’s County Council Member for District 4. During her tenure, she represented the City of Bowie, Greenbelt, Westchester Park, Glenn Dale, parts of Lanham and Upper Marlboro. She was previously elected in 2019 as the At-Large Councilmember for the City of Bowie and elected in 2018 as a member of the Prince George’s County Democratic Central Committee, Legislative District 23. Ingrid’s direct experience in Prince George’s County government, includes her work as Chair of the Government Operations & Fiscal Policy Committee where she worked extensively on economic incentives and financing tools, including tax increment financing (TIF), payments in lieu of taxes (PILOT), and grant mechanisms to attract and retain business investment. She also served on the Education & Workforce Development Committee, and the Health, Human Services and Public Safety Committee, where she helped shape policies that drive growth across key sectors. Her leadership experience includes collaborating on the county’s $5.8 billion budgetand representing the Council on the Council on the Council of Government’s (COG) Board of Directors and the Prince George’s County Workforce Board. She also previously worked on the management team for Employ Prince George’s and Children’s National Hospital. Ingrid has maintained consistent community engagement, hosting events and initiatives to ensure policies reflect resident needs. Her nonprofit and civic leadership in Prince George’s County spans over 30 years and includes service as the 11th President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,Inc., Iota Gamma Omega Chapter, President of the Ivy Community Charities of Prince George’sCounty, Maryland State Coordinator for the North Atlantic Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc’s, charter member of the Willow Oak Chapter (MD) of The Links, Incorporated andmember of The Harbor City MD Chapter of The Society, Incorporated. She also served on theBoard for the development of the Liberty Sports Park in Bowie, and Leadership Prince George’s.

Gabrielle Duvall has served as Southern Management’s president since 2023. Southern Management

Companies is one of the largest privately owned residential property management companies in the

U.S. The company owns and manages 77 apartment home communities comprising of more than

25,000 apartment homes throughout the Baltimore-Washington region. In addition to residential

property ownership and management, Southern Management owns, manages and operates

commercial properties as well as four hotels and conference centers.

Gabrielle has been actively involved with Southern Management since 2006, when she began serving

as outside counsel and strategic advisor. She was a partner and member of the executive committee

of a boutique real estate law firm in Maryland prior to joining Southern Management. In 2017,

Gabrielle joined Southern Management as its general counsel and was promoted to executive vice

president in 2018.

Gabrielle has been instrumental in several of Southern Management’s most importantinitiatives

formore thanadecade. Shewaspart ofthe leadershipteam that structured, negotiatedandclosed

successful portfolio refinancings in 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2025. She led the successful relocation

of Southern Management’s corporate headquarters to McLean,Virginia in 2023 and continues to

lead Southern Management’s Legislative Affairs initiatives.

Gabrielle is active within her community. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Board of

the Center Plaza Foundation, is a board member of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, the

Downtown Management Authority, and the Southern Management Leadership Program at the

University of Maryland at College Park. She is a founding member of the Montgomery County

Business Roundtable and is an active volunteer with the Sandy Spring Athletic Association.

Gabrielle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctorate

from the George Washington University Law School. She resides with her husband, two children

and two dogs in Olney, Maryland.

Greg spent more than 30 years working at all levels in corporate and private industries. He graduated from Howard University, Washington, DC, with a BS in Chemical Engineering and began his career with McNeil Consumer Products Company. Greg then joined Merck and Co. Inc., where he received eight promotions and became a member of the research division executive committee. He joined a midsize real estate development company, where he became COO and a member of the executive team. In 2008, Greg co-founded Mosaic Development Partners, and together with his partner, Leslie Smallwood-Lewis, they have developed over $1 Billion in real estate projects and have created hundreds of construction and full-time jobs. Mosaic currently has $7B in real estate in its pipeline.

Ken Ulman serves as Chief Strategy Officer for Economic Development and President of the

Terrapin Development Company. In his roles at the University of Maryland and Terrapin

Development Company, Ken strives to realize the concept of “Greater College Park.” Ken brings

together the private, public and institutional sectors to turn College Park into the next great

college town by creating a vibrant downtown community, dynamic academic spaces and create

a public-private research hub for tech talent. In his time working for the University of Maryland,

Ken has been integral locating major companies such as Cybrary, Adobe, Capital One, IonQ,

WeWork, and Trader Joes in College Park.

Ulman also teaches BSOS and Government and Politics 388, Innovation in the Public Sector,

where he is honored to have taught brilliant UMD students for the past 8 years.

Ulman previously served two terms as Howard County Executive, where he earned a reputation

for a leadership style that blends innovation and common sense, with a goal of providing

the most efficient and effective government services possible. During his time in public office,

Ulman took Maryland’s sixth largest jurisdiction to new heights in education, healthcare,

environmental protection and economic development.

Ken has won numerous awards, and was named a Tech Titan by Washingtonian Magazine, a

Top 25 Doer, Dreamer and Driver by Government Technology Magazine and a Regional

Visionary by the Greater Baltimore Committee.

Ken is a past president of the Maryland Association of Counties and served as chairman of the

Baltimore Metropolitan Council, as well as serving on several boards including Shock Trauma,

the Merriweather Arts and Culture Center, and the College Park City University Partnership. Ken

lives in Columbia, Maryland, with his wife, Jaki, a fellow Terp herself, and has two daughters,

Maddie and Lily. Maddie is a senior at the University of Maryland College Park.

Dr. Gina Merritt is an award-winning, experienced real estate developer specializing in

community development. She has been involved in over 8,000 units of housing in various stages

of development, managing the entitlement process, structuring and securing the required

financing, managing the design, and the overall construction process.

Dr. Merritt has expertise in managing large development projects with complicated

financing and ownership structures. She has also underwritten over $4.0 billion in real estate

transactions. Her real estate development expertise includes mixed-use development,

apartments, condominiums, single-family homes, and public-private real estate transactions.

NREUV's recent real estate advisory engagements include consulting for the University of

Virginia on its Affordable Housing Initiative and consulting for the Charlottesville

Redevelopment and Housing Authority on their Sustainability Study. NREUV is also managing

over $300M in development for its own account.

neighborhood we serve with our real estate projects.

Dr. Merritt earned a BBA from Howard University, MBA from the Darden School at the

University of Virginia, and a Doctorate in Social Innovation at the University of Southern

California. Dr. Merritt's recent industry recognitions include the Stevie Award for Changemaker

of the Year-Race, Baltimore Business Journal's Leaders in Diversity Award 2022, Enterprising

Women of the Year Award 2022, and the Social Innovation Summit Award-Economic

Empowerment 2022. She resides in Baltimore, Maryland, with her husband and daughter.

Mr. Harold W. Johnson II is a Managing Partner at Cober Johnson & Romney, a legal, consulting, and development firm located in the Washington, DC area, focused on development, communications, law, and leadership. He leads the development division of CJR. He focuses on economic and community development, real estate development, and strategies for government projects. Mr. Johnson has managed the capital assets and operations of over 30+ million square feet and counseled owners in the management, planning, finance, and development of over $5 billion in real estate assets. Mr. Johnson is considered an expert in the area of real estate development and asset management, and is a Gerson Lehman Group (GLG) Council member and GLG Educator.

Mr. Johnson has sold over $100 million in commercial real estate and over 2,000 acres of land for development. He has overseen the entitlement and directed the planning and rezoning of over 1,000 acres representing over $3 billion in development and creating thousands of homes and millions of square feet in new mixed-use communities.

He is currently leading and managing the development of the largest P3 project in Prince George’s County, Towne Square at Suitland Federal Center. Johnson was previously appointed a Director of the Washington Convention Center Authority where he held fiduciary responsibility for the daily oversight of the existing convention center and the planning, financing, and development of the new $800 million, 2 million sq. ft. Washington Convention Center. He has been program manager and chief planner of a $2.1 billion government capital improvement program. He has served as in-house Director of Development and Operations Executive to a large 17,000 member church providing advice on real estate acquisitions and development, including a campus development project and total project portfolio valued at $95 Million.
