Reid Liffmann joined Angelo, Gordon's real estate group in 2010. He is a Managing Director and a member of the firm’s executive committee. Reid assists in the oversight and management of the firm's real estate investments in the U.S. and Europe, and is co-portfolio manager with Adam Schwartz of the U.S. opportunistic and core plus real estate funds. Reid has over 20 years of direct real estate ownership and operating experience with a focus on development, redevelopment and asset repositioning. Formerly, Reid was a partner with Greenebaum & Rose Associates, a real estate development and investment firm focusing on the mid-Atlantic. Reid was previously one of Angelo Gordon’s operating partners and completed several real estate transactions with the firm. Reid began his career as a real estate financial analyst at LaSalle Partners. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from The George Washington University and an M.B.A. degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Asheel Shah

Asheel Shah joined Kettler in 2007 and is President of the Multifamily Development division of the company. Mr. Shah has over 20 years of experience in the Washington DC real estate market and 14 years of experience dedicated to real estate acquisitions and development. He is responsible for the (i) company’s investment strategy, (ii) new business development activities, (iii) equity capital raising as well as (iv) building and maintaining partner relationships. Additionally, Mr. Shah serves on the Kettler Investment Committee and is principally responsible for making recommendations to the committee.

Mr. Shah earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA., and a master’s of business administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Kettler, Mr. Shah worked at Monument Realty, CarrAmerica Realty Corp. and Arthur Andersen LLP. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, serving on the Washington District Executive Committee and as a mentor for young leaders.

Ben currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Fundrise, an online real estate investment platform with over 300,000 members and $1.45 billion in real estate nationwide. Fundrise leverages technology to lower the cost of real estate investment and operations, enabling greater transparency and an ultra-low fee model. Ben has over 18 years of experience in real estate development and investment. Prior to Fundrise, Ben was managing partner of WestMill Capital Partners and President of Western Development Corp., a major mixed-use development company in Washington, D.C with more than 3 million square feet under management. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he sits on the board of the National Center for Children and Families.

Ryan Riel

Ryan Riel has worked in Commercial Real Estate with EagleBank for more than 20

years and currently oversees the Bank’s $5 billion CRE lending portfolio. Throughout

his tenure, he has worn multiple hats and participated in originating more than $6

billion in real estate transactions of various types across the DC region. Since

February 2025, in addition to CRE Lending, Mr. Riel oversees more than 200

employees across retail banking, small business lending, loan and deposit

operations, and information technology.

Mr. Riel sits on the Board of Directors of the EagleBank Foundation, and on the Board

for George Mason University’s Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship. He is a

current Trustee for The Children’s Inn at NIH and previously served on the Board of

Directors at the Inn for ten years. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from

West Virginia University.

Jessica Bailey

Prior to co-founding Greenworks Lending in 2015, Jessica led the design, management, and implementation of the nation’s first successful C-PACE program at the CT Green Bank. In its first two years, the program financed $75 million in clean energy projects and executed the first securitization of commercial efficiency assets – more than doubling the volume of C-PACE transactions between 2013 and 2014. From 2004-2012, Bailey worked at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF), an $800 million foundation based in New York. As the Fund’s program officer for sustainable development, she co-managed a $7 million portfolio of grants focused on mitigating climate change and promoting clean energy.

Jessica has received numerous awards and positive recognition for her work. Most recently, she was selected for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneurial Winning Women of 2019 program. In 2014, Bailey was named a “Champion of Change” by the White House for solar deployment. For her work designing the successful Connecticut C-PACE program, The Hartford Business Journal dubbed her a “Green Warrior;” and after co-founding Greenworks Lending and scaling C-PACE nationally, Jessica was named to Connecticut Magazine’s 2018 list of “40 under 40.”

Jessica received her graduate degree from Yale University and undergraduate from the University of Notre Dame. She is a member of YPO and sits on the board of PACENation, the League of Conservation Voters, CT and CTNext.

David Kessler serves as Managing Partner of CohnReznick's Real Estate Industry practice. He has over 30 years of experience providing audit, tax, and management advisory services to the real estate and financial services industries, representing clients nationally.

David represents developers, private equity funds, institutional investors such as life insurance companies and pension funds, lenders, asset management companies, property management companies, REITs, and loan funds. His clients operate and develop hotels, office, multifamily, industrial, retail, nursing and assisted living, land projects, military housing, and student housing units.

David's services for commercial real estate clients involve audit and management advisory services including assisting new and existing private equity funds with structures, compliance, and asset or portfolio due diligence. He works with RIA’s, fund managers, and is proficient with real estate accounting and reporting as well as real estate operations. David frequently works with the Firm’s Advisory Practice.

David designed and has taught a real estate accounting graduate-level course at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies and the University of Maryland’s School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation as part of each university’s graduate degree program in real estate development. He speaks frequently at real estate industry conferences throughout the country. David serves on the Board and is Treasurer of Junior Achievement of Greater Washington and is a Board Member of Barker Adoption Foundation.

Sadhvi Subramanian

Sadhvi Subramanian is a Senior Vice President in Capital One’s Commercial Real Estate Group. She is responsible for Capital One’s commercial real estate activities in the District of Columbia, including construction loans, term loans and lines of credit to local funds and developers.

Prior to joining Capital One, Sadhvi worked for Crown Capital Corporation, an investment bank in St. Louis. She started her career in New Delhi as an art and food service entrepreneur.

Sadhvi has served as President of the Washington, D.C. chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Women and is a member of the Urban Land Institute Advisory Board for DC. She is a board member of the Real Estate Lenders Association DC and was on the Women’s Leadership Institute Steering Committee for DC. Sadhvi is also the Co-Chair of the Luncheon Committee for the Trust for the National Mall and the Boys and Girls Club of DC.

A certified public accountant, Ms. Subramanian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Delhi and a Masters of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Mr. Franzetti oversees ASB’s Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions, including all new investment activity and management of existing assets. Mr. Franzetti is a member of ASB’s Management Committee and Investment Committee. Since joining ASB Real Estate Investments in 2006, Mr. Franzetti has closed over $1.5 billion in transactions across property sectors and geographies. Prior to joining ASB, Mr. Franzetti worked at Friedman Billings Ramsey performing fixed income research and at First Advantage Mortgage Company. He received his MBA from Georgetown University and a BA in English Literature from McGill University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute Washington, D.C.

Erik Weinberg focuses on strategy, acquisition, business plan oversight and disposition of FCP’s commercial investments. Prior to joining FCP, Erik was a Senior Associate with CW Capital, where he was responsible for the resolution of distressed commercial mortgage loans as well as the disposition of REO properties, aggregating in excess of $3 billion.

Prior to CW Capital, Erik was an Associate within the Capital Markets Group at Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers (a predecessor company to Cushman & Wakefield) in Washington, DC. He began his career at BearingPoint, Inc. in its Financial Services Group and graduated an academic All-American from the University of Maryland with a double major in Finance and Accounting. Erik is an active member of ULI and serves on the Office Development Council.

Yulia Yaani

Yulia Yaani is the co-founder and CEO of RealAtom, the first online marketplace for commercial real estate debt financing. Prior to RealAtom.com, Yulia managed commercial real estate investments for Amstar Global Partners, a U.S. private equity fund, as well as worked for Related Group in Florida.

Yulia’s experience exposed her to the highly fragmented commercial real estate lending industry that lacks transparency and to real estate developers and investors that were wasting time and money in order to secure debt for their projects. As a result, she decided to build RealAtom, a marketplace for commercial real estate loans. RealAtom matches CRE borrowers directly with appropriate lenders, allowing for significantly lower costs of capital and a streamlined origination process. This is Yulia’s third start-up.

Yulia received her MBA from Columbia University and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Jon currently serves as the Director of Immigration Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He joined the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in June 2014. He works with Chamber member companies to form Chamber policy positions on various issues and he advocates for sensible immigration policies before Congress and the executive branch agencies. Prior to joining the Chamber, Jon served as an advisor to Senator Rubio for 3.5 years. Int that capacity, he held a very important position as one of the Senator’s lead immigration advisors during the Senator’s involvement with the Gang of 8 and his push for comprehensive immigration reform legislation in the 113th Congress. Jon is an attorney and he is licensed to practice in the states of New York and Florida. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and he completed his undergraduate education at Syracuse University where he majored in Economics and Political Science and was a member of the Syracuse Orange football team.
