Mark is vice president for CDUS in the Washington metro area. His responsibilities include the pursuit, acquisition and execution of development projects. He oversees project development teams and supports the executive vice president/area manager in growing Skanska’s development business throughout the region.

Mark has more than 20 years of industry experience and has worked with site acquisition, site planning, design, development, construction management and the disposition of income-producing properties. He previously served as regional director of development for JPI, a national development firm. Mark’s development experience includes land, office, retail, multifamily and hotel development projects, primarily in the Washington and Baltimore markets.

Mark holds a Masters of Architecture degree from The Catholic University of America and a Masters of Engineering Management degree from The University of California at Berkeley.

Mr. Ritchey serves as Senior Executive Vice President. Prior to his appointment to this position in January 2016, Mr. Ritchey served as Executive Vice President, Head of our Washington, D.C. Office and National Director of Acquisitions and Development since April 1998 and Senior Vice President and Co- Manager of our Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Ritchey is responsible for all business development, leasing and marketing as well as new opportunity origination in the Washington, D.C. area. He also directly oversees similar activities on a national basis. Mr. Ritchey joined us in 1980, leading our expansion to become one of the dominant real estate firms in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. For four years prior to joining us, Mr. Ritchey was one of the leading commercial real estate brokers in the Washington, D.C. area with Coldwell Banker. He is a 1972 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a 1973 graduate of the U.S. Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, California.

Mr. Hughes is CEO of the Capital Markets group and CEO of Hines’ East Region. He is a member of the firm’s Executive, Steering, Strategy and global Investment Committees. Additionally, Hughes chairs the Capital Markets Committee. He is responsible for all institutional capital raising activities globally, including structuring of commingled funds and joint ventures. As head of the East Region, Hughes oversees all development, acquisitions and operations activity in the Eastern United States. His past experience includes serving as a development officer in Hines’ Washington, D.C. office.

Hughes graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BA in History. He is a registered representative of Hines Securities, Inc., a broker-dealer affiliate of Hines, and holds FINRA Series 22 and Series 63 licenses.

Mr. Oliver T. Carr, III has been the President and Chief Executive Officer at Carr Properties Holdings LP since 2004. Mr. Carr co-founded Carr Capital Corporation in 1994 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer until 2005. He was responsible for managing Carr Capital, and led managing major acquisitions and financial transactions at the firm. Mr. Carr served as a Director of WashingtonFirst Bankshares, Inc. and its subsidiary WashingtonFirst Bank from December 2012 to May 17, 2013. He served as an Independent Director of Alliance Bankshares Corporation since July 2007. Mr. Carr served as a Director of Alliance Bank Corporation since August 15, 2007 and Alliance Bankshares Corporation since July 2007. He received Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992 and his Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies, with a concentration in Economics, from Trinity College in 1987.

As managing research director, Elizabeth oversees the operations of the Transwestern Research Department in the Mid-Atlantic. She is responsible for directing economic and commercial real estate analysis, as well as identifying and forecasting industry trends. Elizabeth brings thought leadership to Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic research through market research analysis in the quarterly publications and industry-specific white papers. She also serves as a spokesperson to clients and the media on market analysis and trends.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Elizabeth has over 15 years of research and analysis experience on the real estate industry. Previously, she was the National Research Director at Delta Associates, Transwestern’s research affiliate. In this role she oversaw the economic and commercial real estate research for the Washington/Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, and Denver markets. Prior to Delta Associates, Elizabeth was a Needs Assessment Analyst with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), where she managed research projects and provided analysis as well as product recommendations to the home building industry.

EDUCATION

Elizabeth received her Master of Community Planning (MCP) degree from University of Maryland, College Park. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Government from American University.

He is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing day-to- day operations of Brookfield’s Greater DC portfolio. In his 28 year career, Mr. Meyer has held executive level positions with Equity Office Properties, Trammell Crow Company and Penzance Company. Mr. Meyer holds a BA degree from Hamilton College and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School. He is past President of the board of directors for the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District and sits on the board of directors for the District of Columbia Building Industry Association. With more than 25 years in the industry, Mark has spent his career working on commercial projects of

all sizes, ranging from small, complex occupied renovations to out of the ground headquarters. He has

spent the last 19 years of his career working around the Washington, D.C. metro area for customers

including the National Regulatory Commission, Booz Allen Hamilton and the United Way Worldwide. In

that time, Mark has been involved in the construction of more than $250 million of office projects

throughout the area.

Currently managing DPR’s Special Services Group (SSG), which focuses on small to mid-size interior

projects, Mark expertly matches the individual talents of the team members with project requirements,

helping to ensure project success regardless of size or scope. He has a deep understanding of the D.C.

Metro market construction trends, costs and subcontractor capacity.

Mark completed his education in construction technology in London England and worked on many

construction projects most notably the Lloyds Redevelopment project in London. He then moved to New

York before eventually relocating to Washington, D.C. in 1998.

As the owner and founder of WFT Engineering, his day-to-day responsibilities include oversight of MEP/FP engineering activities, project management, accounting, marketing, and client relations. Mr. Sullivan is also qualified as an expert witness regarding codes. John Sikaitis is Managing Director of Research, Advisory & Business Development for JLL’s Mid-Atlantic

business based out of Washington, DC. In his current role, John leads the region’s Research, Business

Development and Advisory teams and serves as the regional Head Strategist, advising our business on day-

to-day business pursuits and our clients on real estate strategies.

John joined the firm in 2005 as Director of Research for the Mid-Atlantic Region. In 2007, John took on the

role of Director of Research for Mid-Atlantic and Southeast platforms. In 2009, John assumed the role Head of

Office Research, Americas, leading the firm’s overall analysis, message and outlook for the macro U.S. and

Canada office sector in a timely thoughtful, thorough, proactive and consultative approach. John added

responsibilities beyond the office role in 2011, also assuming the role of Head of Local Markets Research for

the U.S., taking on leadership of all of our U.S.-based local researchers and platforms. John’s focus was to

grow and differentiate the local market expertise and quality of the firm’s research across 50+ markets. In that

role, he drove a new data and reporting approach, messaging and client strategy and overall enhancements to

Allison Johnson has over 13 years of commercial real estate management experience and is MRP Realty’s Director of Property Management. She oversees the portfolio of over 9 million square feet and 150 employees, partnering with senior management to strategically grow this business. Since Allison joined MRP, the company’s management portfolio has grown from 3.5 million square feet to over 9 million square feet today. Gary is the Chief Investment Officer and a Partner of Meridian. Gary is responsible for

acquisitions, capital activities and investor relations.  He also serves as Chair of the Investment

Committee. Gary led the fundraising and investing efforts of Meridian Realty Partners I and II,

Meridian’s discretionary private equity funds raised in 2012 and 2016. Between these two funds,

Gary has completed in excess of $2.5 billion in investments with over $1 billion of equity in 15

transactions.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Gary represented Meridian in its first 3 years of

investments as a partner at Vinson & Elkins LLP in Washington, DC. He then headed up the

Real Estate Fund’s Acquisitions Group as a partner at The Carlyle Group, where he led and

completed over $12 billion of investments with $3.4 billion of equity in nearly 200 transactions.

These included the acquisition, development, structured financing, and recapitalization of office,

hotel, retail, residential, industrial, land, senior living, and mixed-use properties. He also led the

firm’s efforts in the formation of Carlyle Realty Partners I, II, III, IV and V – an aggregate of

over $5 billion in investor commitments – before joining The Meridian Group in November

2007.

Gary received his B.A. from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. from The University of Texas

School of Law. Gary is on the Advisory Board for George Washington University Business

School's Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis.

Earlier he was the head of Commercial Real Estate lending at Chevy Chase Bank from 1997 to 2005 and previously held various lending positions at The Riggs National Bank in Washington, DC after starting his career at the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York.

Scott is responsible for working with lending institutions and similar capital providers, procuring new debt at both the property and fund level and managing debt across the portfolio in each fund. Scott joined Rubenstein Partners in July 2015.

Prior to joining Rubenstein Partners, Scott worked at KTR Capital Partners, where he was responsible for debt originations, debt portfolio management and cash management of the funds; the debt portfolio reached over $3.0 billion in total commitments and included portfolio financings, subscription facilities, fund level unsecured debt, build-to-suit and other construction loans as well as CMBS loan assumptions. From 2006 to 2011, he worked at LBC Credit Partners, a private equity firm focused on lending to middle market companies across the United States. In 2004, Scott began his career at Duff & Phelps, where he was focused on business valuation financial advisory.

Scott graduated from University of Maryland in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science.

Tyler Horton

Tyler Horton, a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC, advises public and closely held business clients, primarily in the private equity and real estate industries. He specializes in technical issues relating to flow through entities including partnerships and corporations. His experience includes planning for complex transactions and providing a full range of tax services that encompass initial planning through implementation and the preparation of the related tax returns. His practice also includes significant work in the area of IRS audit and other related controversy support.

Mr. Horton has worked with his clients in all phases of their operations advising on both economic and income tax consequences of potential transactions. He has consulted with his clients on the structuring of transactions related to the acquisition and disposition of operating companies as well as major portfolios of real estate assets.

As a result of his work with closely held businesses and their family ownership structures, Mr. Horton has considerable experience in the areas of individual income tax and estate tax planning including the related tax reporting.

Prior to joining A&M in 2004, Mr. Horton spent six years with Arthur Andersen in the Washington, DC Real Estate and Financial Services group and a boutique real estate tax consulting firm where he served as a manager.

Mr. Horton earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from The College of William and Mary, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Virginia.

Duncan serves as a Firmwide Leader of Gensler’s Commercial Office Building Developers Practice Area and as a Design Director for architecture in our Washington, D.C. office. In a career spanning more than three decades, he has designed buildings for a variety of institutional and commercial clients in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region, Europe, Asia and Australia, earning recognition from the AIA, NAIOP, U.S. Air Force and Arlington County, among others, for award-winning work. Duncan’s passion for high-performance buildings and sustainable design has led to LEED® certification for many of his projects, including three at the Platinum level. He’s been a featured speaker at conferences for the Urban Land Institute, the AIA Academy of Architecture for Justice and Bisnow Washington, D.C. Duncan earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Bath in England and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
