One of Virginia’s most prominent developers, Rick Gregory has long been recognized for his successes in stimulating revitalization in often overlooked neighborhoods. He is nationally known for his expertise in tax credit financing and investment. A top real estate attorney, Rick was chairman of the Gregory Kaplan law firm and is a former partner in LeClairRyan. He holds a degree in urban planning from the University of Virginia School of Architecture and a J.D. from the William & Mary Law School.

As a graduate of College of Charleston, Nicole Kennedy has been in the Multifamily Industry for over 20 years. She joined Costar in the Atlanta office at the beginning of 2015 as a Sales Associate. She was promoted to the Carolina’s Regional Director in 2016 and has worked throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, Ohio, and has recently moved to Richmond, as the Director of the newly formed Mid Market sales team for Aparments.com. She moved to Richmond specifically for this role to develop and grow the Apartments.com sales team here in Richmond. Nicole has managed and developed various size sales team throughout her career as well as serving on Apartment Association Boards in several markets. When she is not working you can find her spending time with friends, her dog Birdie or taking classes on her Peloton.

David Hanchrow

David Hanchrow is Chief Investment Officer for Bristol. An 22-year veteran of the multi-family industry, Mr. Hanchrow oversees site selection and acquisition, as well as market and financial feasibility analysis.

He is also responsible for all asset dispositions and plays a key role in sourcing and structuring financing for new development projects. Previously, Mr. Hanchrow served as real estate development manager for Polar-BEK, a Birmingham, Alabama based development firm.

Mr Hanchrow held several positions at Polar-BEK over a period of nearly10 years and was involved in the development of more than 2,000 multi-family units.

He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Hunter Newby is an American entrepreneur, investor, conservationist and the owner of Newby Ventures. His primary field of interest has been network infrastructure. As Co-Founder, Chief Strategy Officer and a Director of Telx, he pioneered the carrier-neutral Meet-Me-Room and the development of carrier hotels and data centers in the United States leading to massive value creation and economic development throughout the Country. Since the sale of Telx he has been and continues to be a founder, developer and investor in the creation of multiple network-neutral infrastructure businesses all across North America.

Mr. Newby is a recognized authority in the network-neutral interconnection and data center industry. He has served on multiple company boards, is a published author, public speaker and has been quoted in several publications including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and USA Today. He has also been the recipient of numerous awards including being named to the Global Telecoms Business Top 40 Under 40 in 2010.

Mr. Newby earned a B.S. in Communications from Drexel University.

Carissa Gavin has been practicing architecture for 14 years and has experience in commercial interiors, law firms, residential interiors, and sustainable design. Her approach to sustainability is show across all design and project types.

She works in all project phases, including space planning, design, construction documentation, and construction administration. She works closely with the project team, including the client, consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure the quality and design of the project. In addition, Carissa is a design educator, serving for four years as an adjunct faculty member at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, DC and lead thesis instructor for the Corcoran’s Master of Arts in Interior Design thesis course.

Based in Washington, DC, Chris leads Capital City’s real estate acquisition and development efforts throughout the Mid Atlantic. Prior to joining Capital City, Chris held positions at ZOM Living, UDR and First Capital Realty. Over the course of his career, Chris has sourced, capitalized, and executed on the development of 2,300 multifamily units with a total value of $900M. Chris holds a BS in Business Management, as well as a Minor in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech. Chris sits on the Industry Advisory Board for the Blackwood Department of Real Estate at Virginia Tech.

Tim Davey leads Timmons Group’s Economic Development efforts. He manages high-profile projects and specializes in Community Planning, Urban Revitalization, Manufacturing, and Economic Development. Tim manages high profile projects providing site selection, creative financing, grant consulting, urban, mixed-use, and industrial engineering expertise. He is particularly effective at leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex projects.

Tim is a graduate of LEAD Virginia (2006) and Leadership Metro Richmond (2003), where he received its 2004 Servant Leader Award. Tim was named ULI Richmond’s 2013 Member of the Year after Co-Chairing “Reality Check”, a collaborative planning, “Gameday” event for the greater Richmond area. He is President of the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate and a Founding member of the Logistics Task Force for Richmond's Future. Tim also traveled to China to assist in the recruitment of a major advanced manufacturing facility to Chesterfield County, Virginia.

Tim lives in Bon Air, in an 1882 Victorian listed on Virginia’s Register for Historic Places, with his wife, Lisa, and their four children, Michael, Rachel, Ragen, and Cristofer. An avid golfer, Tim is also a marathon runner and triathlon competitor. He particularly enjoys traveling all over the world to interesting and educational places with his family.

Jessica Zullo serves as the Director of the Richmond Studio and Associate Principal, representing the firm’s context-driven approach to design across our five market sectors. Jessica holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interior Design from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She has worked on a wide range of projects including large scale headquarters, associations, corporate interiors, restaurants, retail, and building repositioning projects in collaboration with the commercial office studio. She is thrilled to be a part of Richmond’s creative, dynamic community.

Jessica is a member of IIDA, AIA, Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), and ULI Virginia; internally, she is a member of Hickok Cole’s Full Circle Committee, Staff Operations Committee, and the Design Committee. In her free time at home she enjoys attending college football games, fishing, photography, and eating as many oysters as possible.

Joseph Weinberg is Managing Partner and CEO of Resort & Gaming Entertainment for the Cordish Companies. For the past 30 years, he has overseen the acquisition, financing, design, development, and management of high profile hotel, gaming, retail and entertainment projects worldwide. Mr. Weinberg has also overseen the company's expansion efforts in Asia and Europe. Mr. Weinberg serves as a trustee on a number of philanthropic foundation boards, including the Joseph & Debra Weinberg Family Foundation, formed by Mr. Weinberg and his wife to support underprivileged communities in the United States and internationally. A graduate of the University of Virginia, he played Division I Baseball for The University.

Loretta Cataldi has joined Divaris Real Estate as Principal and Managing Broker for the Richmond office. Besides her role, she specializes in all aspects of sales and leasing for tenants and landlords throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Loretta has executed over four million square feet of commercial space over her twenty-plus year career.

She brings experience in Leasing, Development, Landlord Representation, Land Sales, Tenant Representation, Site Selection, Expansion Strategies to the Retail, Office, and Industrial sectors of commercial real estate. Her previous experience includes Property Management.
