Andrew was also involved with DREAM as they completed the IPOs for Dundee International REIT, Dundee Industrial REIT and numerous acquisitions. Prior to working on the finance side of real estate, Andrew was a structural engineer.

Max started his professional career working in successive roles for a global provider of business intelligence in various industries including finance, education, law and healthcare. His interest in real estate led him to a private real estate firm where he was responsible for asset management of a 1.2 million square foot portfolio of office, industrial and retail properties. Max joined Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. after graduating from Ivey Business School in 2013 and has helped to significantly grow the business. Max is a Partner at Crestpoint where he is involved in the sourcing and due diligence of acquisition opportunities across Canada and directly responsible for the strategy, operations and value enhancement of a national portfolio of properties.

In his spare time, Max enjoys climbing and skiing in the mountains and spending as much time as possible with family and friends, including his wife, dog Hugo and his two daughters.

Khan Tran

Khan Tran leads the investment and asset management functions at TAS with responsibilities including acquisitions, joint-venture negotiations, and fund management. Overseeing a team of investment professionals, his group is heavily involved in underwriting and decision making at the project level. He serves as the owner representative for TAS’ funds in several project level joint-venture relationships with institutional partners.

Khan has 15 years of experience in finance and real estate with a focus on investments and asset management. He has held progressive leadership roles at PwC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and CPP Investment Board. Khan holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations.

Randal Froebelius has been a senior member of the MaRS Discovery District Real

Estate team for over 18 years participating in the design, construction, property

management, leasing and financing of the MaRS Centre, North America’s

largest urban innovation hub, located in Toronto. He is currently Project

Executive and Senior Adviser to MaRS and led the design and construction of the

MaRS Nucleus space at the Waterfront Innovation Centre in Toronto.

Randal is currently Chair of the Building Owners and Managers Association

(BOMA) International, and is a Past-Chair of BOMA Canada, BOMA Toronto and

the BOMA Floor Measurement Standards Committee. In 2019, he became a

BOMA Fellow.

Randal also serves on the boards of the Northern Centre for Advanced

Technology in Sudbury, Ontario, and Halmont Properties Corporation.

Randal has 35 years of experience in property management, leasing, project

management and construction. Randal holds a Bachelor of Engineering

Science (Civil) degree from the University of Western Ontario, an MBA from the

Richard Ivey School of Business, a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto

and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. He has held

progressive positions with construction, real estate development and

management companies throughout his career.

alternative asset classes and US-bound growth has helped build First Gulf into the

award-winning organization it is today.

Roman has earned his MBA in real estate development from the Ted Rogers School of

Management – Toronto Metropolitan University and worked in a variety of senior roles

for financial institutions, telecommunication companies and major international

developers in his 15-year career.
