James Nozar joined Strategic Property Partners in March 2016 as Chief Executive Officer where he oversees all aspects of the business, including the design, entitlement, programming, construction and delivery of the planned mixed use development in southern downtown Tampa along the waterfront.

Mr. Nozar joined SPP from The JBG Companies in Washington D.C. where he spent 10 years as a development manager and internal design and programming resource. He focused on the firm’s overall acquisition and development strategy, and was responsible for acquisition underwriting assumptions, the overall vision and conceptual program, entitlements and community outreach efforts, as well as the design process on dozens of real estate investments within the Washington, DC metro area.

During his time at The JBG Companies, Nozar managed the development of 25 multi-use real estate projects with associated development budgets totaling in excess of $2 billion and the entitlement of over 10 million square feet of new development.

Nozar also worked as a real estate consultant for Ernst & Young and RCLCO after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and Certificate in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

As the Chief Executive of Liberty Group, Mr. Shah maintains overall executive control over the investment and management divisions of the company, and serves as the General Partner of Liberty Hospitality Fund I & II. Mr. Shah is an alumnus of Boston University where he now serves on the Board of Directors and has established the Punit & Carla Shah Family scholarship. Mr. Shah attended the Harvard University Economics Honors program, and Political Science and Real Estate Development programs at Cornell University and Emory University.

Mr. Shah is a member of YPO, and has served on the Global Board of the Intercontinental Hotels Group Owner's Association. His honors include receiving the Florida's Governor's Enterprise award, Florida Business Review “Under 40” and Entrepreneur of the Year awards, named as 25 People to Watch in Florida, and serving as the 2017 Boston University School of Hospitality commencement speaker.

In 2017, Mr. Shah, as part of an investment group led by Derek Jeter, purchased the Miami Marlins Major League Baseball team, and is an official Owner of the team.

Nick Haines

Nick is Chief Executive Officer of The Bromley Companies. He is primarily responsible for overseeing new acquisitions, property management, leasing and corporate strategy. Since joining Bromley in 2005, Nick has overseen over $500 million of acquisitions, disposition and financing transactions and the leasing of over 1 million square feet of office, retail, and residential property.

Previous to joining Bromley, Nick ran business development and marketing for Vaultus, a wireless software company. Earlier he served as a founding member of Merrill Lynch’s Principal Investment Group and as an investment analyst at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co, for their 1818 Funds. He received an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from Duke University.

Nick is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York where he serves on the Midtown South Building Committee and sits on the Executive Committee of the Union Square Partnership.

Michael E. Boutzoukas concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial real estate, real estate development, leasing, financing and business transactions. Michael provides clients with general consultation and guidance in legal matters to business clients, leveraging his own transactional experience with the firm’s specialists in taxation, employment law and securities to serve his clients’ needs. Mr. Boutzoukas’ peers call upon him to assist them with their clients’ real estate and business transactional disputes to gain perspective on the best course of resolution.

In 2009, he joined the approximately 450 Florida attorneys Board Certified in Real Estate Law. Board Certification by the Florida Bar is the highest level of recognition of an attorney’s competency and expertise in the areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida. Since 2018 Michael has been recognized by his peers as among the Best Lawyers in America© for Real Estate. Michael is actively engaged in the broader real estate community and regularly speaks before realtors, attorneys and businesses groups on commercial and residential real estate transactions, leasing issues, title matters, and ad valorem tax valuation challenges.

He also volunteers his time holding positions with the City of Clearwater, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the Bay Area Real Estate Council. The Clearwater City Council appointed Michael to the Community Development Board. In that capacity, he conducts design review, evaluates historic applications and reviews requests for land use plan changes and rezoning. The Board serves as Local Planning Agency to review and advise City Council on the City’s Comprehensive Plan. He previously served on the Code Enforcement Board. At his church, Michael has served in leadership roles and as general counsel since 1993 and most recently elected President of the community for 2017.

Noah Breakstone, CEO of BTI Partners, a Fort Lauderdale-based real estate development and land investment firm. BTI Partners is developing some of Florida’ largest high-profile developments, including Westshore Marina District - home to one of Tampa Bay area’s most luxury condominium developments called Marina Pointe - and Orlando’s The Grove Resort & Spa west of Walt Disney World. BTI Partners is also behind one of the largest mixed-use developments being proposed in the City of Hollywood in South Florida and behind the development of a 1400-acre master planned community proposed near Orlando.

Mr. Breakstone took the helm of BTI Partners three decades ago, following in the footsteps of his father Arthur Breakstone, who founded the company more than 50 years ago. Under Noah Breakstone's leadership, BTI Partners became one of Florida’s largest real estate developers and land bankers and grew the business to a multi-million-dollar operation. Mr. Breakstone's entrepreneurial approach, combined with his real estate finance, construction and development experience, provides BTI Partners with the flexibility to perform a variety of roles required in complex real estate developments and transactions involving all asset classes in urban cores across Florida. A graduate of Yale University, Mr. Breakstone is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders, Florida Atlantic Builders Association and the Urban Land Institute.

Noah can speak to the state of the construction, lending, development and CRE industry during the Coronavirus crisis. His company often finds opportunities in down markets so he can speak to the type of opportunities that this financial downturn may present to developers and investors.

Lane Ramsfield

Lane Ramsfield has more than three decades of experience with commercial and industrial real estate ventures including multiple asset classes within the Real Estate industry.

Mr. Ramsfield was previously employed by Trammell Crow Company, Commercial Net Lease Realty, as well Orange County Government. His principal responsibilities included Executive Management of Business Units in Real Estate Development and Investment. During his tenure with these organizations, Mr. Ramsfield was tasked with leading the planning, leasing, acquisitions, disposition, entitlement and design and construction of numerous projects and properties. Over the span of his career, Lane has been directly responsible for the development and investment of properties with a total value of over $2.5 billion.

Currently Mr. Ramsfield serves as Vice President of Real Estate at Port Tampa Bay, where he is responsible for acquisition, disposition and leasing of industrial properties of all Port Tampa Bay Real Estate business. Mr. Ramsfield has a B. S. from North Dakota State University, College of Engineering and Architecture.

Lynda Remund

Tampa Downtown Partnership

Lynda Remund serves as the Acting President and CEO for the Tampa Downtown Partnership. In her role, Lynda manages and coordinates the daily operations of the Tampa Downtown Partnership including organizational structure, management and vision, company policies, and supporting the organization’s strategic initiatives, as well as leading efforts to expand the special assessment district. In her previous role as Chief Operating Officer, she held senior management responsibilities for operations of Tampa’s Downtown business improvement district and the organization’s contract with the City of Tampa, which it has maintained for over 23 years. Lynda joined the Tampa Downtown Partnership as Director of District Operations in October 2000.

In her tenure at the Partnership, Lynda has successfully orchestrated two public art projects, developed a unique training program for the downtown ambassadors that partners with organizations such as AAA, Busch Gardens, and Tampa’s Fire and Police Departments, as well as facilitated a reorganization of staff members into rolls that align with the company’s strategic vision and mission.

Prior to joining the Tampa Downtown Partnership, she served nine years with Chase Manhattan Bank/JPMorgan Chase; first supervising in the Bankcard division and later appointed Community and Special Events Coordinator, responsible for developing corporate employee-community volunteer programs, as well as managing and distributing the local philanthropic contributions and serving on the corporate-wide employee recognition and diversity committees. Lynda facilitated over sixty community projects annually for 2500 employees and was awarded the corporation’s Volunteer of the Year in 1995; also receiving a Proclamation from the City of Tampa that same year for her commitment to volunteer and community services.

During her career, Lynda has served on several committees and organizations including the Krewe of Agustina de Aragon, Transportation Committee Chair for the Westshore Alliance, HARC Auxiliary Committee, Westshore Midday Business of Professional Women, Hillsborough County Committee of 99, and March of Dimes Task Force Member. She is an alumna of the Leadership Westshore Class of 1998, Leadership Tampa Class of 2005, and International Downtown Association’s Emerging Leader Fellowship Program. She holds a SHRM-CP certification in human resources and is currently a member of the International Downtown Association, Urban Land Institute, Florida Redevelopment Association, Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), HR Tampa, and serves on the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors, Tampa Preparatory School’s Board of Trustees, Visit Tampa Bay’s Advisory Committee, and Rays 100 Committee.

Ken Stoltenberg

Ken K. Stoltenberg has been active in the commercial real estate industry for almost 30 years. Before starting KDK Keller Development, he was employed by the Leo Eisenberg Company (1990-1996), Medallion Mortgage Inc. (1997-1999), Euro American Advisors Inc. (1999-2003), and his own company Mercury Advisors (2003-Present).

Combining his experience in both the development and the operational fields, Ken has been instrumental in the startup and creative process of multi-family developments and redevelopments . For the past 15 years Ken has been the principal developer and visionary for Grand Central at Kennedy and The Channel Club. Grand Central at Kennedy is a 392-unit condominium with 80,000 square feet of office space and 116,000 square feet of retail space with ample structured parking. It is home to tenants like Quality Distribution, St. Leo University, Kraft Heinz and Crunch Fitness. The Channel Club is a 22 story 324-unit apartment tower which also houses a 36,000 square feet Publix supermarket, Tampa’s first true urban supermarket. Both projects are in Tampa’s up and coming Channel District.

He is currently working on three mixed use developments two in the Channel District and one in the City of Saint Petersburg, which are similar in scale to Grand Central at Kennedy and Channel Club.

Alison Williams

With 14 years of experience in commercial real estate, Alison Williams, vice president, specializes in the origination of debt and structured finance for commercial real estate transactions encompassing all property types. Ms. Williams is based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Tampa, Florida office.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Ms. Williams, served as vice president in NorthMarq Capital’s Tampa, Florida office for more than 11 years where she was responsible for new loan origination utilizing direct relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, CMBS, bank, and life insurance companies. Throughout her career, Ms. Williams has closed over $1.5 billion of commercial real estate transactions and most recently closed $200 million of loan originations in the Southeast in 2016.

Ms. Williams graduated from Florida State University where she double-majored in finance and real estate. Ms. Williams is a member of numerous professional organizations focusing on multifamily, retail, and hospitality real estate trends throughout the United States.

Mike Moore

Michael J. Moore (“Mike”) serves as Vice President, Counsel and Florida Sales Manager for First American Title Insurance Company’s National Commercial Services operations in Florida. Mike is responsible for the division’s commercial title sales in the Florida market. Mike also sells directly to major real estate customers and large law firm agents throughout the state; strategically advancing their business objectives and aligning the Florida service teams to best manage clients’ commercial real estate transactions.

Mike previously served as First American Title’s Florida State Manager from 2008 through mid-2016 where he planned and lead the successful consolidation of all operations within Florida. He initially joined the company in 2003 as Commercial Services Division Manager and Counsel for The Talon Group – a division of First American Title Insurance Company. Under Mike’s leadership, his Talon Commercial Services operations grew to be the most profitable commercial operation in the Talon division from 2003-2007.

His 26 years in the commercial title insurance arena include significant management and legal department posts. Prior to joining First American, Mike served as vice president and national commercial services manager for another major national title insurer for 5 years. He also served in various regional underwriting counsel roles for the same company from 1992 – 1998. In addition, Mike’s experience at that company included serving as vice president and counsel for their national 1031 exchange company.

Mike is an AV-rated member of the Florida Bar and has served on the Executive Council of the bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.

He has developed and presented a variety of continuing legal education seminars for Florida bar members in the past. His prior seminars covered the 2003/2004 ALTA revised title policy endorsements, Florida Construction Lien Law, legal ethics, advanced sovereign lands and water-related real property title issues, an extensive overview of the state’s title insurance regulations set forth in Florida Administrative Code Chapter 4-186, and advanced title insurance issues and coverages available in the context of multi-state, securitized commercial real property transactions.

Mike earned a degree in public relations from the University of Florida and attended the Stetson University College of Law where he was a published Editorial Board member of the Stetson Law Review.
