As President and COO, Edward M. Kobel leads DeBartolo Development’s investment strategy, execution and capitalization. Backed by the DeBartolo family and major capital commitments he secured, DeBartolo Development has underwritten a real estate pipeline of over $4.6 billion since 2003. Prior to overseeing DeBartolo Development, Ed was a partner at Fortis Advisors in Scottsdale, an affiliate company of DeBartolo Property Group, where he managed more than $600 million in real estate projects. Before joining Fortis, he founded Trinity Development with offices in Colorado Springs, Denver, Phoenix and Chicago. Trinity Development was primarily engaged in new retail development as well as value-added shopping center renovation and completed over $300 million in retail development. Throughout his professional career, Ed has devoted his time and leadership to multiple non-profit organizations and was awarded the Outstanding Professional and Community Citizenship award from Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio.

Diego is responsible for analyzing and structuring LD&D's investments and overseeing all asset management activities for LD&D's portfolio. He brings extensive experience in real estate development and investment, having previously worked at The Carlyle Group in the US Real Estate Fund, where he was involved in over $2B of development and investment projects. During his time at Carlyle, he contributed to the development of more than 700 high-end residential units in the New York City area. Prior to that, Diego was an Associate on the Real Estate Finance team at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he played an active role in the repositioning of the $500M Conrad Hotel in NYC and provided development and investment analysis for several of Goldman Sachs' real estate assets.

Diego holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as a Wharton Fellowship Scholar, with a triple major in Real Estate, Finance, and Management, and a Certificate in Law from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He also holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. Diego is a LEED Accredited Professional and has consulted with the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) on resilience and climate change.

Ryan Reyes serves as the CEO and Managing Partner of Argyle Real Estate Capital, which he founded in 2022. Prior to Argyle, Ryan served as the Chief Investment Officer for the US Division of a Switzerland-based, international real estate company with over $5B AUM where he also sat on the Global Acquisition Committee. Over the last three years, Ryan led the US investment team and acquired over $1.5B of apartments. Ryan began his real estate career with an investment company specializing in residential real estate where he held various roles in acquisitions and construction management to spearhead the company’s growth from $50M to $1B during his 7-year tenure. Prior to his real estate career, Ryan served as a Special Agent for the Department of Homeland Security's Special Operations Group. Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tampa, where he also served as captain of the NCAA swim team.

Maggie Burke serves as Senior Vice President on Capital One’s Commercial Real

Estate Team, specializing in advising commercial property owners and operators across

the U.S. on capital markets and debt strategies. She provides clients with creative

solutions to support their individual business plans through several capital source

executions, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, life companies, CMBS, debt

funds, and banks.

Burke’s extensive commercial real estate finance experience encompasses originating,

structuring, and successfully closing loans across a wide spectrum of asset types – from

multifamily, office and retail, to self-storage and industrial. Throughout her career, Burke

has facilitated clients in securing an impressive $6 billion in debt finance transactions.

Burke joined Capital One from Berkadia in 2021 to grow its national platform and

continue delivering highly tailored financing solutions, working alongside her partners

Jonathan Pratt and Rossana Bouchaya. The team has originated more than $2 billion in

these capital product types within just two years. Notably, they recently closed a 24-

property portfolio with Fannie Mae totaling $477 million.

Burke is a sought-after industry expert, contributing as a media commentator, panelist,

and moderator for The Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Annual Conference, its

Senior Bank Executive Roundtables, Freddie Mac's Customer Conference, and news

outlets like Real Estate Forum and Bisnow.

In recognition of her influence in commercial real estate, Burke was by honored with

Connect CRE's Women in Real Estate Award for 2023. In 2022, she was named on

Globest.com's prestigious Rainmakers in Finance, Debt & Equity annual list.

Burke remains deeply committed to industry development and advocacy. She has

served as the immediate past Chair of the MBA's mPact Advisory Committee, currently

serves as Vice Chair of the MBA's Mortgage Action Alliance, and is active in MORPAC,

MBA’s political action Steering Committees.

Burke is also the sole representative for Capital One on the Freddie Mac Advisory

Committee, providing real-time feedback to the agency with the goal of creating a more

frictionless experience for borrowers working with Freddie Mac.

She also serves as a Board Member of Real Estate Network Empowering Women

(RENEW) and is a valued member of CREW Tampa Bay, furthering her commitment to

advancing the future commercial real estate landscape for women.
