Mr. Matheson is a principal at Founders 3 Real Estate Services. Since 1983, John

has dedicated his professional career to improving the performance and value

of commercial real estate. Over a span of nearly 20 years at Simon Property

Group, Balcor, and Insignia/ESG, John worked with and contributed to some

of the best real estate operational and management systems in the business.

His responsibilities included management of very high performing enclosed

malls, full renovations, re-positioning and marketing/branding efforts. He also

was tapped to be part of a talented team to grand open new malls in various

parts of the country. With assignments that brought him to Florida, Texas,

Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois, John benefited from a diverse mix of retail

properties in different geographic markets, all with unique challenges and a

rich list of experiences.

John specializes in the growth and performance of the F3 Marina brand

of management services. He has been instrumental in expanding marina

assignments throughout the U.S. and internationally. A long-time boater, he

understands the boaters perspective as well as the marina owner. John joined

the company as Executive Vice President and became a Partner in 2002,

to bring a retail expertise to the firm and oversee the day to day operations.

During that time, the firm had grown from 30 employees in Milwaukee in 2002,

to a staff of over 200 spanning 5 states. In his current role as Principal, John’s

focus is to create a platform for continued growth by providing clients with

a consistently high quality service and developing good leadership with an

emphasis on innovation within the organization. He also plays a key role in the

growth of the Marina and Aviation divisions as they expand throughout the

U.S. and international locations.

He is the licensed broker of record for the company, Certified Property Manager

(CPM), Certified Marketing Director (CMD), International Council of Shopping

Centers (ICSC), member of the Association of Marina Industries (AMI)

International Marina Institute (IMI), and Institute of Real Estate Management

(IREM) and holds a B.S. from the Indiana University School of Business.

Victor Ballestas

Victor Ballestas is a Principal of Integra Investments. Ballestas is focused on managing and enhancing the company’s business development structure and spearheads the individualized development and marketing campaigns for Integra’s numerous projects.

Immersed in the real estate industry for most of his life, Ballestas began his career at WCI Communities, a publicly traded residential development company, rising from Development Assistant to Division President of the east coast. While at WCI Communities, Ballestas administered more than 15 ultra-luxury high-rises in less than ten years. Following WCI Communities, Ballestas managed the south east division of Wheelock Street Capital, a private equity investment fund supported by Baupost, actively investing in numerous real estate opportunities during the most recent distressed real estate cycle. In 2009, Ballestas served as Regional Director for ST Residential, a subsidiary of Starwood Capital, leading the divestiture of its Corus portfolio including more than 2,200 boom-era condominiums within 13 projects in South Florida, including Paramount Bay, Jade Ocean, Mint, and Infinity. For his efforts, Ballestas was named a Power Leader by The South Florida Business Journal.

Marieke van Peer

Seahaven Superyacht Marina

Marieke van Peer is Harbormaster of the new marina in Dania Cut, Seahaven Superyacht Marina. She has overseen some of the most prestigious marinas in Florida. These include the Miami Beach Marina, Bahia Mar Yachting Center, and Island Gardens Deep Harbour. Marieke managed all facets of the new construction of Island Gardens from installation of the Med-Moor system to implementation of the marina regulations and procedures. As the East Coast Florida Regional Manager for Suntex Marinas she oversaw 7 properties in their Florida portfolio. She was responsible for the operation of the marina assets and businesses, which ensured efficient and profitable operations and maximized the potential of each facility. Marieke is also the owner of Peer Consulting and Management, LLC.

Marieke was awarded the Marina Manager Certification by the Association of Marina Industries in 2014.

Marieke is on the Board of Directors for the Marine Industries Association of South Florida, the Association of Marina Industries (AMI) and the Marine Council of Miami as well as a member of the Advisory Board for the Global Marina Institute (GMI).

Matthew Barry, Managing Director, brings over 25 years of experience to Optimum Asset Management USA of which 15 was at Hines. Matthew has a proven expertise in developing large scale commercial, office, hotel and residential projects from concept through stabilization, placing highest priority on maximizing returns while minimizing risk. He is directly involved in the development management of Optimum’s US portfolio.

Harley Miller is CEO and Co-Founder of Miller Construction Company with his brother, Tom. Founded in 1973, Miller Construction Company is considered a premier Design/Builder and General Contractor in South Florida. The growth and success of Miller Construction Company can be traced back to the company’s philosophy, which fosters long-term client relationships by bringing knowledge, expertise and innovative services to their clients while infusing each relationship with integrity and respect.

Harley graduated from the University of Florida in 1969 with a degree in Building Construction and is a State of Florida certified General Contractor. Since its inception, Harley has helped manage the growth of Miller Construction Company. Projects such as NSU Oceanographic Research Facility, Riverside Hotel, Fisher Island Spa & Fitness Center and WPLG Local 10 Broadcast

Facility can be added to over 500 commercial and residential facilities that Miller Construction Company has built in Florida.

Harley is an Emeritus Member of the Advisory Council Executive Committee for the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management at the University of Florida. He is also an Emeritus Board Member and Past President of the South Florida Chapter of NAIOP as well as a Past President of the Board for Construction Association of South Florida.

Active in many charitable organizations, Harley has founded two annual golf tournaments that benefit South Florida charities. He is a Past President of The Lighthouse of Broward County and also gives his support to the United Way, Boys and Girls Club of Broward County, Children’s Aid Club and Junior Achievement, where he was honored with the 2002 Hall of Fame Award. In 2014, Harley and his brother Tom were elected to the M.E. Rinker, Sr., School of Construction Management Hall of Fame. Currently, he is a member of the Orange Bowl Committee.
