Properties in February 2015 and brings with him 25 years of experience in acquisition,

development and asset management of large commercial real estate projects in the US

and Latin America.

Prior to launching Blanca Commercial Real Estate, Tere served for five years as Senior

Managing Director for Cushman & Wakefield of Florida, Inc., where she led the firm’s South

Florida region, achieving significant revenue growth and increased profitability. Tere also held

the position of senior vice president at Codina Realty Services, Inc. ONCOR International where

she was consistently among the top producers during her 14-year tenure.

Tere holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in international marketing

and finance and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami and is fluent

in English and Spanish. She is the proud mother of two daughters and resides with her husband

in Coral Gables.

Brian Gale is Vice Chairman of Cushman and Wakefield of Florida. Through his 27 year career, Brian has overseen the signing of leases totalling 12 million square feet, with a value of over $2 billion. His team currently represents almost 7 million square feet of office space in South Florida, with buildings in Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, South Miami, Coconut Grove, Wynwood, Airport West and has clients which include Metlife, Nuveen, Related, AEW, Prudential, OKO Group, Cain International, IP Capital, CIM, L&B, Banyan and Crocker Partners.

From 1993 to 1999, Brian was a broker in the Miami office of CB Richard Ellis and from there he spent the next 18 years as a broker and Principal of Taylor and Mathis before joining Cushman and Wakefield in 2016. Brian is a 2 time “Broker of the Year” winner for Miami-Dade County.

Summary

The Office Market in Miami often gets lost in the shuffle, with so many other hot asset classes.  We will be examining South Florida's office market, the impact of collaborative workplaces, and how it is disrupting the way in which the largest owners and developers in Miami operate.  We will also hear from a panel of major local tenants, to hear how their needs are evolving.  As always, come early and stay late for ample networking time and coffee -- we'll see you there!
