Throughout his career, Mr. Matus has been involved in thousands of transactions valued at more than $3 billion with expertise spanning across retail, multifamily, hospitality, office, industrial, and land.

Prior to joining Franklin Street, Mr. Matus ran Marcus and Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office as the Vice President/Regional Manager of the company’s Real Estate Investment Services division. He was with Marcus and Millichap for more than 11 years progressing from Sales Associate to Senior Associate, Vice President/Regional Manager of Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, First Vice President of Investments, and as a Director of both the company’s National Retail Group and National Multi Housing Group. Throughout his career, he has acted as a mentor, manager, and trainer for hundreds of agents.

Naturally driven, Mr. Matus has received several awards for his accomplishments including being named a 50 Under 40 professional by Real Estate Forum in 2014 and a 40 Under 40 professional in 2010 by the South Florida Business Journal. He received Franklin Street’s Sales Achievement Award in 2015 and is a repeat recipient of Marcus and Millichap’s National Achievement Award, a Top Ten Agent in Ft. Lauderdale, and Rookie of the Year.

Highly active in the commercial real estate community, he serves as a member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also a dedicated member of his community, volunteering and donating to the non-profits Push America and the Jorge Nation Foundation.

Mr. Matus received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida.

Carlos Rosso is the Founder of Rosso Development, a fully integrated development firm focused on high-end boutique development opportunities. Rosso is set to oversee multiple upcoming awe-inspiring projects in key markets in South Florida and Latin America—with the first ever The Standard Residences in Midtown Miami as his debut project. Rosso founded Rosso Development in 2020 after nearly 20 years with The Related Group, where he was a driving force behind the company’s condominium operations. As the president of the condominium and international development divisions, he oversaw all facets of condominium development domestically and internationally.

Over the course of his career, Rosso developed well over 16,000 units, and in the process, mastered diverse development disciplines including construction, project financing, land acquisition and sales and marketing. Under his leadership, Related successfully delivered iconic projects including the 1,600 unit Paraiso District in Miami; Residences by ARMANI/CASA designed by César Pelli; Hyde Beach House; Park Grove by OMA/Rem Koolhaas; Auberge Beach Residences and Spa in Fort Lauderdale; SLS Cancun & Residences in Mexico; and V:HOUSE in Brazil.

Prior to his time at Related, Rosso held a number of positions across global development firms, having served as Vice President of Real Estate Development for Investment Properties Ltd. in Boston; and ten years as Project Director for Besix International, overseeing the development and construction of over ten million square feet of multi-family, hotel and office buildings in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Scott L. Leventhal is the co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Trillist. As a fourth generation developer, Mr. Leventhal has spent two decades in the real estate development business and has created an impressive portfolio of mixed-use and multifamily housing projects in the Southeastern U.S. In 2006 and only at the age of 28, Mr. Leventhal was recognized as one of “Atlanta’s Most Promising Young Stars” by the editors of Atlanta Business Chronicle in their annual “Up and Comers – 40 under 40” feature.

Mr. Leventhal is an experienced real estate developer and overseen the development of a high-quality portfolio of residential and mixed-use projects. Mr. Leventhal formally managed Tivoli Properties, Inc. (“Tivoli”), which was one of the nation’s premier real estate investment and development companies. Under his leadership, Tivoli built innovative developments which forever changed the Atlanta landscape for residential condominium living. Within a few years of its formation, Tivoli created a portfolio of award-winning projects with a retail value of nearly $400 million. Because of its rapid acceleration and growth, Tivoli earned recognition as 24th of the top 100 real estate development companies according to Real Estate Forum Magazine’s November 2007 issue.

Mr. Leventhal appears frequently as a guest speaker and lecturer on matters involving the real estate development business. In the spring of 2012, Mr. Leventhal appeared as a special, select witness before a U.S. Congressional Committee on the effect of bank failures in the real estate development industry and structured finance programs that involve public-private partnerships.

Mr. Leventhal is also a member of Georgia State University’s Honorary Real Estate Board. He frequently lectures before students at Georgia State University’s Masters in Real Estate Development and Finance classes.

Nitin Motwani

Nitin Motwani has been the managing principal of Miami Worldcenter since 2006. He is responsible for everything from land acquisition, zoning, and entitlements to financing, joint ventures, and development. Mr. Motwani is also a managing director of Encore Capital Management, which currently has over $1 billion of investments across the country, including holdings in Florida, California, Texas, and Arizona. Earlier in his career, Mr. Motwani was the president of Merrimac Ventures.

Brad Meltzer is a Partner and President of Two Roads Development. In this role, he oversees real estate development activities from design through construction and supports the team in identifying new opportunities. Meltzer has facilitated the growth of numerous regional business units scaling some from start up to more than 250 employees. Specializing in delivering high-end projects, Meltzer has led award-winning projects from inception to completion across various asset classes, including condominium, multifamily, hospitality, office, and retail. Kobi Karp is the Founder and Principal of Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design, Inc (KKAID). Kobi Karp founded the firm in 1996 and has been the Principal-in-Charge of design since that time. KKAID is a full-service architectural and interior design firm providing a vast array of services, ranging from the design of large-scale, high-rise condominium and hospitality projects to intimate, small-scale low-rise residential and commercial structures.

Educated at the University of Minnesota’s Institute of Technology, Kobi Karp earned degrees in both Architecture and Environmental Design. Subsequently, Kobi Karp began his career working on major hospitality and all- inclusive resort projects throughout the United States and the Caribbean. His restoration design techniques have contributed to a renaissance in one of this country’s most cherished areas, Miami Beach’s Art Deco District which is internationally recognized around the world.

Jon was a founding principal of ADD Inc Miami, an architecture and interior design practice which grew from two employees to over 100 before they joined Stantec in 2015. With the addition of a structural and civil engineering team, Jon now oversees 130 employees. He also co-develops the overall strategy, business development, and marketing of our growing Commercial Sector practice nationwide.
