Why Attend Bisnow's Homebuilding & MPC Summit

Florida is an undisputed leader of master-planned community development in the United States. 10 of the nation’s top 50 best-selling communities call Florida home from the solar-powered streets of Babcock Ranch and the sprawling villages of Lakewood Ranch to the fast-growing corridors of Nocatee, Wellen Park, SilverLeaf, Sunbridge, and beyond. With the state accounting for more than 41% of all national MPC home sales, the question is no longer whether Florida’s master-planned communities are succeeding,  it’s how the leaders building them are navigating an increasingly complex landscape of rising insurance costs, infrastructure demands, workforce housing pressures, climate resilience requirements, and an ever-intensifying amenity arms race.

Bisnow’s first-ever Florida Master-Planned Community Summit brings together the master developers, homebuilders, capital providers, infrastructure experts, amenity designers, and public-sector partners who are shaping what comes next. Across two focused panels, attendees will hear directly from the executives and decision-makers behind Florida’s most ambitious community-building projects; candid conversations about deal structures, land strategy, community programming, and the forces that will define the next decade of Florida growth.

What you will takeaway from this event:

1. Where the Next Big Communities Are Actually Getting Built - A clear view of the most active and emerging MPC corridors across Florida from the I-4 corridor and Space Coast to Northeast and Gulf Coast markets  and why capital is flowing there.

2. How Developers Are Structuring Deals in Today’s Capital Environment - Real insight into how master developers are securing land, structuring capital stacks, and navigating interest rate volatility while still driving sales and absorption.

3. What It Takes to Get a Large-Scale Community Approved and Delivered - A behind-the-scenes look at entitlements, infrastructure financing, and public-private partnerships and how to actually move projects from dirt to delivery in today’s regulatory environment.

4. How the Builder Mix Is Evolving and Why It Matters - What developers are looking for in homebuilder partners today, how product is shifting (townhomes, attached, age-targeted), and how that impacts pricing, velocity, and long-term value.

5. What Today’s Buyers Actually Want and What They’ll Pay For - A real breakdown of the “amenity arms race” from wellness and lifestyle programming to mixed-use and smart tech and what’s truly driving demand versus what’s just noise.

6. How Developers Are Building for Risk, Resilience, and Long-Term Performance - How insurance pressures, climate risk, and infrastructure demands are reshaping design, construction, and community planning  and what it takes to future-proof a project in Florida today.
