John Chibbaro is Of Counsel in Bilzin Sumberg’s Environmental and Land

Development & Government Relations groups, where he leads the firm's

climate change and resiliency team. He has the rare combination of

technical fluency in federal and state environmental laws, as well as land

use, zoning, and government relations regulations. This is in addition to his

experience on climate change-related issues that are impacting wide swaths

of the South Florida economy such as construction and real estate

development. John has handled large-scale transit, infrastructure, retail,

residential, and industrial developments and his experience includes

advising public and private clients in complex regulatory matters involving

the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Clean Air Act, the Clean

Water Act, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Endangered

Species Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation,

and Liability Act (CERCLA), and related state laws. He also works with the

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park

Service, Bureau of Land Management, Florida Departments of

Environmental Protection and Transportation, and local agencies such as

Miami-Dade County's Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources -

Division of Environmental Resources Management (DERM).

John earned his J.D. at the University of Chicago, and his B.A. at Dartmouth

College.

Andy Ashwal

Andy Ashwal directs GFI Management Services, Inc. and GFI Development Company’s execution of developments in Kansas, Florida and Missouri. Andy’s role includes management and execution of asset level business strategies for a national portfolio of multifamily and retail assets. Prior to joining GFI, Mr. Ashwal oversaw KW Property Management & Consulting’s expansion efforts in the New York City metropolitan area. Additionally, Mr. Ashwal served as the Director of Operations at LCI, a boutique construction management and owner’s representative firm focused on municipal and residential construction. He is also the former Senior Developer at Africa Israel, USA (the U.S. subsidiary of Africa Israel Investments) where he oversaw development projects including: the repositioning of the former New York Times building at 229 W 43rd Street and the completion of 20 Pine – the Collection.

Mr. Ashwal holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, in College Park, MD and a Master’s degree in Construction Executive Management from the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.

Peter Scialla

Peter Scialla is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Delos. Peter is responsible for executing on the strategic vision and global operations of the company with a focus on advancing the mission to drive positive health outcomes for occupants of indoor spaces around the world. He leads the commercialization of platforms and solutions that improve indoor environmental quality and enhance human health and well-being.

Prior to joining Delos, Peter had an expansive career on Wall Street spanning over 18 years, including as a Partner for Goldman Sachs where he led U.S. Equity Derivatives Trading. During his eight years at Goldman Sachs, Peter worked closely with leadership in distribution, investment banking, private wealth, and capital markets with an emphasis on both institutional trading and structured corporate repurchase. Peter also spent seven years at Morgan Stanley as Head of Single Stock Derivatives Trading.

Peter regularly speaks at industry events and contributes informative content across multiple channels to share scientific research, trends and advancements in wellness real estate, and to help advance the healthy buildings movement. He is a graduate of New York University with degrees in Finance and International Business.

James Murley

James F. Murley serves as Assistant Dean for External Affairs, College of Architecture,

Urban and Public Affairs and Director of the Center for Urban and Environmental

Solutions, Florida Atlantic University. Governor Charlie Crist appointed Jim as the first

Chair of the Florida Energy and Climate Commission. Jim also serves as Vice Chair of

the Miami-Dade County Climate Change Advisory Task Force and is a member and

chair of the Build Environment Committee of the Broward County Climate Change Task

Force.

Jim is Chair of the Sustainability Committee of the Urban Land Institute's Southeast

Florida/Caribbean District Council and was recently appointed a member of Mayor of

Miami-Dade County's new Sustainability Advisory Board. Jim is a former Secretary of

the Florida Department of Community Affairs and Executive Director of 1,000 Friends of

Florida. Jim is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. Jim

graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio with a BA in History and George

Washington University Law School. He is a graduate of Class IX Leadership Florida

Michael Tillman is the CEO and CIO of PTM Partners, a Fort Lauderdale-based real estate investment and development firm focused on designing and building tech-forward sustainable multifamily housing in urban markets. PTM has invested, developed, constructed, and managed over $2.5 billion in real estate covering a broad range of mixed-use inclusionary projects in D.C., Virginia, Florida, and North Carolina. PTM seeks medium-to long-term community-oriented development opportunities that create substantial value for residents, partners, and investors. Prior to PTM, Michael was a managing director of development and acquisitions for LeFrak, building and overseeing their multi-billion-dollar portfolio in South Florida. He holds his BBA from Emory University and earned his MBA from Columbia University’s Business School.
