Jay Fayette serves as the East Coast President of Suffolk’s Southeast Region which maintains office locations in West Palm Beach and Miami, Florida. Jay’s 43 years of expertise in construction operations, coupled with strong corporate and strategic leadership experience allow him to provide valuable direction in all facets of the industry for the region.

Jay oversees all phases of project life cycle from relationship building, project pursuits, preconstruction, and construction to ensure that our team delivers on all project goals. He is responsible for operational efficiency, strategy, and the successful execution of Suffolk’s business plan. Jay’s construction career began in 1979 when he started working as a laborer for Pizzagalli Construction (PC Construction), at this time Jay was also attending Vermont Technical College. In January of 1994, Jay began working at Suffolk Construction. He was with Suffolk from 1994-1999, Jay was an integral part of leading and growing the original Palm Beach County office. In 1999 he returned to PC Construction, where he later became President and CEO. During this time, Jay led a 2-billion-dollar work program from Maine to Florida. In 2022, under Jay’s leadership, PC Construction was named ENR Southeast Contractor of the Year.

After spending a total of 27 years with PC Construction, four of those as President and CEO, Jay returned to Suffolk’s Southeast Region in late 2022 as Florida’s East Coast President.

Jay is on the board of directors of O’Brien Brother Realty, Spectrum Family and Youth Services, and Kidsafe Collaborative. Jay attended Vermont Technical College and was inducted into the Vermont State College’s Hall of Fame and received their distinguished Alumni Award in 2017. Jay now calls West Palm Beach his home with his wife Susan and their blended family of five.

Brad Meltzer is a Partner and President of Two Roads Development. In this role, he oversees real estate development activities from design through construction and supports the team in identifying new opportunities. Meltzer has facilitated the growth of numerous regional business units scaling some from start up to more than 250 employees. Specializing in delivering high-end projects, Meltzer has led award-winning projects from inception to completion across various asset classes, including condominium, multifamily, hospitality, office, and retail. A sampling of such projects includes Biscayne Beach, The One Thousand Museum Tower, the 4 Tower Paraiso Complex, the Ritz Carlton Residences Miami Beach, The Marquis, Millicento, W Hotel South Beach, One Hotel and Homes, Icon Bay, Carillon Miami Beach (aka Canyon Ranch), Town Center One at Dadeland, Aventura Mall Expansion, Westshore Marina Pointe, Mandarin Oriental Miami. Meltzer led the construction of 15 buildings in excess of 35 stories and 2 in excess of 60 stories. He holds a Masters's in Architecture from Tulane University and has more than 30 years of construction experience, having headed a top national construction firm as its CEO. Meltzer also sits on the Advisory Board of the University of Miami MRED+U and Construction Management programs, Tulane University School of Architecture Advisory Board, Gulliver Prep Board of Trustees, and Voices for Children Board of Directors.

Asi Cymbal is the Chairman of Cymbal DLT Companies.

Mr. Cymbal has over 30 years of experience in real estate development, construction,

finance, and law.

He is driven by his passion for great architecture and design, his focus on transforming

communities, and his commitment to creating great wealth for his investors.

He has been fortunate to work with the world’s best architects and designers (Philippe

Starck, Bjarke Ingels, Enrique Norten, Jo Palma, Arquitectonica) as a first mover in

neighborhoods at a critical time in their transition (the Financial District in Manhattan,

Tribeca, SOHO, the Miami Design District, Wynwood, Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Dania

Beach, Miami Gardens).

Mr. Cymbal is grateful to his investors and proud of the fact that he has rewarded them

with unmatched returns.

Mr. Cymbal raised his first fund in 2010.  That $3 million fund is now worth over $180

million.  He is focused on increasing that to $700 million by 2026.

After experimenting with retirement in 2014, he came back to create a second fund

during the 2020 Pandemic.  He turned that $16 million fund into $90 million in 20 months.

Mr. Cymbal is currently raising a $100 million evergreen fund to be deployed into the $2

billion Cymbal DLT pipeline.

Mr. Cymbal also has significant food and beverage experience. He has co-created and

owned over half a dozen of the hottest restaurants and clubs in Miami, including Sra.

Martinez (with celebrity chef and James Beard award-winner, Michelle Bernstein), Bardot,

and gigi.

Mr. Cymbal has been named by the South Florida Business Journal as a Heavy Hitter in

Construction and Real Estate Development, a Top 100 Power Leader, and as one of 2013’s

People to Watch. He has also appeared on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.

Mr. Cymbal is the Vice Chair and board member of Florida International University’s

College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts - Miami Beach Urban Studios. He is

also a board member of Wynwood Norte, the organization that is spearheading the

revitalization of north Wynwood. Mr. Cymbal was a past board member of Business for

the Arts of Broward.

Mr. Cymbal is a graduate of Vassar College and the UCLA School of Law. He is an

experienced real estate and business attorney licensed to practice law in New York, New

Jersey, and Washington D.C., and is a licensed general contractor in Florida.

Brandon M. Spirk is the Director of Design and Construction at OceanLand Investments, a family-owned

business dedicated to creating exceptional developments in desirable locations. Brandon brings with

him an impressive track record of successful projects, which have honed his expertise in design and

construction. With almost 20 years of experience in both architecture and development, Brandon has

accomplished 8 acquisitions and 6 developments, with an estimated total of $650 million.

Prior to joining OceanLand Investments in 2015, Brandon began in the Architecture industry. He started

working at Zyscovich Architects, a large firm in Miami and then moved into the boutique space with

Shulman & Associates which specialized in ultra-high-end residential, commercial, and hotel projects. As

a result, his experience ranges from the smallest most intricately detailed endeavors to large

infrastructure-type projects which range from urban master plans to airports and other transportation-

oriented projects. His most notable projects in the architecture space include the Florida Strategic

Turnpike Plaza Renovations, II Midtown, and 1111 Lincoln Road.

Brandon’s introduction to the real estate industry was born through his passion for architecture but also

his strong desire to positively impact formative decisions that only the development teams are engaged

with. He has managed the design and construction process of numerous hotels, mixed-use buildings,

and residences, displaying expertise in maintaining and updating historical sites while creating

contemporary, high-end structures. Brandon specializes in multi-family and condominium residential

real estate and his most notable project to date is the completion of the AquaBlu Condominiums.

Among his past projects are Aquavita, AquaLuna, AquaMar, AquaVue, Riverwalk Residences, 201 N.

Federal, Sixth & Rio, and Brightline Residences.

Originally from Philadelphia, Brandon resides in Miami Shores. He has earned his Bachelor of

Architecture from Florida Atlantic University and enjoys mountain biking, and aviation, is a certified

private pilot and is involved with the Heidi Hewes Chapter of the Woman’s Cancer Association.

Russ is the Executive Director at Juneau Construction Company overseeing all of South Florida Operations. He is an exceptional leader with over 20 years of commercial construction experience managing complex, high-profile projects including LYNQ Wynwood, Grove Central and CocoWalk. A graduate of Auburn University’s Civil Engineering program, Russ is an effective leader and motivator who manages, trains, and oversees the corporate operations strategy for Juneau’s South Florida Team. Juneau is a general contractor specializing in commercial office, higher education, hospitality, mixed-use, multifamily, student housing, and historic restoration and renovation throughout the Southeast.

With over a decade of construction and insurance experience, Daniel has managed

nearly $1 billion dollars worth of new construction, commercial and residential

remodeling. In addition, Daniel has placed hundreds of insurance policies, serves as an expert witness in thousands of insurance disputes, and assisted community

associations, business owners and homeowners recover from a wide variety of property and business income losses. He maintains a strong commitment to the community and serves on the BB&T Local Advisory Board and as Vice-Chairman of Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Miguel is the Founder, President and Managing Broker of APEX Capital Realty. He has approximately 10 years of experience working within different facets of commercial real estate, including sale, acquisition, and leasing of properties within Miami’s urban core. His deep industry knowledge, forward thinking methodology and unique perspective of commercial real estate have earned him a notable reputation among clients and industry leaders and contributed to the firm’s exponential growth in scale, scope and success.

Mr. Defortuna is President, CEO and Founder of Fortune International Group, a Miami-based full- service real estate firm recognized throughout South Florida, Latin America and Europe as a leader in high-end luxury real estate. He oversees all of the company’s activities across all of its business units. Mr. Defortuna is involved with the strategic decision making of the group, as well as the day-to-day operations of each of its divisions.

He started the business in 1983, and quickly became a driving force in real estate. Through his company’s success and far reach into U.S., European and Latin American markets, Mr. Defortuna is widely recognized for having made a significant contribution to the internationalization of Miami and its reputation as a global business, trade and vacation hub. He currently serves as a member of the Mayor of Miami's International Council and also as Director of the Argentine-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in Miami. Additionally, he is a member of several charitable organizations in Miami, such as Manos del Sur, Mt. Sinai Hospital and St. Stephen’s Episcopal School.

Mr. Defortuna holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Chemical Engineering from the National University of Argentina and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Miami. Fully fluent English and Spanish, Mr. Defortuna is married to Ana Cristina and has five children.

Vicky Lee is Senior Vice President, Development at Focus where she manages and leads the company's

expansion into different markets across the Southeast region of the country. As a Management Team

member, Vicky is responsible for defining and implementing internal strategies and policies with the

goal to grow the organization. In addition, she leads real estate acquisition, development, and

architectural design activities on multiple projects, totaling more than $800mm for both Focus and

third-party clients.

Within seven months of kicking off the Focus expansion, Vicky and her team tied up two sites in Florida

and are currently full-steam-ahead in the predevelopment process of both sites. Other notable

achievements include spearheading entitlement and acted as owner’s rep for The Atworth at Mellody

Farm. She maintained an excellent relationship with the Village of Vernon Hills, achieving and

maintaining mutual respect. This has led to Focus recognition in suburban placemaking, catalyzing the

company's most recent 4 new mall-redevelopments in Vernon Hills and Aurora.

Vicky’s combined experience in urban planning, architecture, and business has propelled Vicky into an

industry leader. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for ULI Chicago, Vice Chair of ULI Public

Private Partnership Council (Blue), Vice Chair of ULI Chicago Product Council (Green), and Chair of

Cornell Real Estate Council Chicago Chapter. Her philanthropic activities include serving as Board of

Directors for the nonprofit organization, Teachers Supporting Teachers.

Vicky received her MBA at the S.C. Johnson School of Management at Cornell University and a BA in

Architecture at University of Notre Dame.

Michael C. Larmoyeux, Jr. is a Partner in the firm's Construction Group. Michael represents owners and developers in the design, construction, and development of a wide array of projects, including apartments, luxury high-rise condominiums, hotels, industrial, affordable housing, commercial and mixed-used projects. He handles the negotiation and preparation of construction agreements, professional design agreements, and developer agreements, and assists clients with project administration to identify and achieve early resolution of potential disputes. In addition, he represents owners and developers in disputes arising from design and construction agreements, including construction defect and delay claims, insurance

coverage and warranty claims.

Michael earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami, and his B.A. from the University of Georgia.
