An accomplished, forward-thinking, and goal-oriented data center executive, Michael has over 20 years of expertise leading various high-impacting data center projects and initiatives across industry leaders such as Google and Yahoo.

As Global Head of Design & Delivery, Michael is responsible for the development and construction of cutting-edge data center campuses, ensuring alignment of performance with Aligned’s supply chain methodology as well as best-in-class design, efficiency, and operational objectives. He also leads large cross-functional teams to ensure the scope, quality, schedule and costs of each project are met as contracted, with a focus on enabling customers to achieve speed-to-market and scale with minimal exposure to risk.

Prior to Aligned, Michael served as Head of Global Data Center Operations at Google, where he directed day-to-day operations across all of the company’s state-of-the-art data center campuses, as well as edge sites and Points of Presence (PoPs). Before Google, Michael was the Vice President, Global Data Center Construction and Operations at Yahoo!, where he was responsible for managing and supervising data center engineering and delivery teams in the execution of global data center strategies, including the development and construction of cutting-edge data centers. Michael’s earlier career encompassed serving as Operations Manager, Data Center Division at CEI, Group President – NW Region at SASCO, and Group / Project Executive at Cochran, Inc.

Zaid is currently GM in Microsoft’s Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering where he leads systems engineering and hardware development for Azure including AI systems and infrastructure. Zaid is part of the technical leadership team across Microsoft that sets AI hardware strategy for training and inference. Zaid's teams are also responsible for software and hardware engineering efforts developing specialized compute systems, FPGA network products and ASIC hardware accelerators.

Prior to Microsoft Zaid was head of infrastructure at LinkedIn where he was responsible for all aspects of architecture and engineering for Datacenters, Networking, Compute, Storage and Hardware. Zaid also led several software development teams focusing on building and managing infrastructure as code. This included zero touch provisioning, software-defined networking, network operating systems (SONiC, OpenSwitch), self-healing networks, backbone controller, software defined storage and distributed host-based firewalls. The network teams Zaid led built the global network for LinkedIn, including POP's, peering for edge services, IPv6 implementation, DWDM infrastructure and datacenter network fabric. The hardware and datacenter engineering teams Zaid led were responsible for water cooling to the racks, optical fiber infrastructure and open hardware development which was contributed to the Open Compute Project Foundation (OCP).

Zaid holds several patents in networking and, is a sought-after keynote speaker at top tier conferences and events. Zaid is currently the chairperson for the OCP Foundation Board. He is also currently on the EECS External Advisory Board (EAB) at UC Berkeley and a board member of Internet Ecosystem Innovation Committee (IEIC), a global Internet think tank promoting Internet diversity. Zaid has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Physics from the University of the South Pacific.

Christina Kite is a senior technology, finance, and operations executive with more than 25 years of experience leading large, global cross-functional teams and programs for Fortune 50 and Government organizations. She is currently the Global Director for Strategy and Operations at Amazon Web Service’ Professional Services

Before joining AWS, Christina was the Vice President of Global Business Strategy and Analytics at Oracle where she was responsible for driving key business and customer strategies and initiatives across the cloud development organization. Prior to Oracle, she was the SVP for Corporate Group Strategy & Operations at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She has also held senior executive positions at Goldman Sachs, Cisco and Northrop Grumman. An aerospace engineer who grew to CFO, Christina also has her MBA from MIT and graduated cum laude with a BS in Management Science. She also has attended graduate programs at Stanford University and the University of Southern California (USC).

Jim Fletcher joined Momenta Partners as a Strategy Partner, in the office of the CTO. in 2017. He most recently served IBM as an IBM Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the IBM Watson Internet of Things Platform. In this role, Jim had responsibility for the architecture and technical direction for IBM’s Internet of Things platform including identifying technologies, architecture, M&A and strategic partnerships. During his career at IBM, Jim served in executive management and technical leadership positions in areas of networking, IT systems management, and pervasive computing. Jim holds over 60 patents, is an IBM Master Inventor, and member of the IBM Academy.

Barak Turovsky is responsible for product management and user experience for Google

Translate and Natural Language Understanding within Google AI team. Barak focuses on

applying cutting edge Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to deliver

magical experiences across Google Search, Assistant, Cloud, Chrome, Ads and other products.

Previously, Barak spent 2 years as a product leader within Google Wallet team.

Prior to joining Google in 2011, Barak was Director of Product in Microsoft’s Mobile Advertising,

Head of Mobile Commerce at PayPal and Chief Technical Officer in an Israeli start up. He lived

more than 10 years in 3 different countries (Russia, Israel and the US) and fluently speaks three

languages.

Barak earned a Bachelor’s of Laws degree from Tel Aviv University, Israel, and a Master’s of

Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

Rich Reyher is a Director, Global Data Center Services for PayPal Inc., the world's leading global payments platform. After serving several years first in the U.S. Army military police and then as a federal officer in the U.S. Department of Justice, Rich started as a systems engineer for Aether Systems, a wireless web communications developer, where he managed operations of their flagship data center in Phoenix as Chief Engineer until the site was sold in 2003.

Rich began his career on the eBay team as Chief Engineer, overseeing construction and maintenance of eBay's first, and largest Tier IV data center at the time. Promoted to Director in 2015, Rich led the expansion of the Phoenix region into the largest portfolio within Global Data Center Services. He championed operational excellence, drove efficiencies and implemented industry best practices, with a proven up-time record of 99.999%. Rich recently moved to PayPal with the primary responsibility to run day to day critical infrastructure operations and decide strategy for all data centers globally for PayPal. Rich is an active member of the Uptime Institute and Data Center Pulse.

Herman Brown serves the City and County of San Francisco as the CIO for the SF District Attorney’s

Office. His private-sector mentality and a track record of success, has proved valuable contributions to

the City & County for the last 6 years; with the last 2 years in his current role.

With over 25 years of experience in IT, Herman’s managed several enterprise initiatives that

consolidated services, streamlined processes, and lowered overall city operating costs. His experience

spans various industries; defense, manufacturing, healthcare, software development, advertising and

now local government.

Jeff O'Reilly is a Sr. Manager at ServiceNow running the cloud platform research and engineering lab. Jeff began his career at ServiceNow nearly 7 years ago as a Sr. Engineer where he implemented programs for data center compliance and site selection as well as standardizing data center infrastructure design to support ServiceNow's rapid growth. He was promoted to Sr. Manager in 2015 to run global data center operations before transitioning to his current role in 2017. Prior to coming to ServiceNow, Jeff worked at Casne Engineering for 2 years building an Engineering Service Desk, a subscription based model for engineering services providing reliable post project customer support and a steady revenue stream for the company to offset the volatility of work volume common to a consulting company. Jeff got his start in the data center world at Microsoft where he worked for 10 years as a data center manager, global capacity manager and research engineer leading the team which designed and implemented the EPMS for Microsoft's data centers. Jeff graduated from Washington State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He lives near Seattle, Washington where he enjoys doing DIY projects with his family on their 5 acre property.

Joe spent over 20 years in various process and factory related engineering roles at Intel concluding with the start-up of a new wafer fab in China. More recently Joe has been leading the design and construction of Intel’s Santa Clara D2 Data Center which will result in over 50 MW of compute capacity with world class PUE and server density.

Keith Dines is a recognized expert on data centers. With over 30 years of experience developing data centers for enterprise and colocation providers he has a broad background in all phases of design, construction and IT deployment.

Currently the Senior Leader of Data Center Site Selection and Construction Management for nVidia, he is responsible for the company’s strategy and implementation of its next generation of high-performance data centers for the future of machine learning and artificial intelligence in all of its deployments.

Prior to joining Nvidia, Mr. Dines served in senior management positions for colocation companies including Digital Realty Trust, The Cambay Group, Aligned Energy, and Core Location. While focused on build-to-suit developments at Digital Realty, he developed customized solutions for NetApp, Savvis, ARM Technologies and Equinix.

Earlier in his career as a data center consultant, Dines’ clients included corporate real estate executives, IT directors, and venture capitalists managing software developers, hardware manufacturers, on-line investment firms, on-line travel firms, telecommunications and a university hospital system. His most notable clients include Oracle, Charles Schwab, GI Partners, ViaWest, Adobe, and Stanford University Hospital.

He has an MBA from Columbia University and BS and MS degrees in engineering from Stanford University. He is a two-time finisher of the Ironman triathlon.

Andrew is a data center, IT, private equity and real estate executive with over 20 years of complex transactional experience and multi-disciplinary senior leadership. As CEO of Aligned, he is dedicated to accelerating business growth by driving the delivery of data center solutions with industry-leading technology and adaptive infrastructure. Since beginning his tenure with Aligned three years ago, Andrew has exponentially grown company revenues, completed several successful capital raisings, and cultivated an ecosystem of innovation that advances Aligned’s commitment to reducing the social, economic and environmental impact of the digital era to position Aligned as the number one performing private data center company in 2019.

Prior to joining Aligned, Andrew held numerous leadership positions over an 11-year period with Digital Realty Trust (NYSE: DLR). Andrew is the Founder and Board Member of DC Delta, an advisory council comprised of global data center end-users and innovators, connectivity providers and sustainability thought-leaders focused on improving data center efficiency and sustainability. He also sits on the Infrastructure Masons Advisory Council, an organization that provides infrastructure executives and technical professionals an independent forum to connect, grow and give back. Additionally, Andrew serves as a mentor for Great Minds in STEM, an association dedicated to keeping America technologically strong by promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math careers, especially in underserved communities.

He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from Cornerstone University, in addition to completing graduate programs in Executive Negotiations and Management Training at Harvard University.

Clint Heiden joined QTS in 2018 to lead the company’s Hybrid Colocation Sales and Marketing organization. Clint has more than 26 years of sales leadership experience in the data center, telecommunications and internet technology industries.

Prior to joining QTS, Clint served as Chief Commercial Officer for five years at another data center company where he helped sell and deliver more than 80 megawatts of critical capacity to customers. He also previously served as President of Sidera Networks and held senior leadership roles at PAETEC, Cable & Wireless America and UUNET. In these roles, Clint led organizations responsible for over one billion dollars of annual enterprise revenue while at the same time generating significant organic revenue growth.

Clint received his BBA in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University, where he continues to sit on the Board. Clint lives in McLean, Virginia with his wife and four children.

As CEO and Managing Partner in fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty (1547), Todd is involved with running the operations of the business as well as business development and firm strategy. Mr. Raymond has a reputation of successfully building enterprise value, taking companies from start up to executing an exit strategy. Prior to joining 1547, Mr. Raymond served as CEO, President, COO, General Counsel, Controller and a Director of The Telx Group, Inc. during which time he guided the company through multiple financings, acquisitions, SEC registration and two sales to private equity firms. Prior to joining Telx, Mr. Raymond was a founder of Stratus Services Group, Inc., an engineering and staffing services company, and served as its General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. During his tenure, he guided Stratus through multiple private capital raises, the acquisition of over a dozen businesses, and in April 2000, the Initial Public Offering of the company’s stock on NASDAQ. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Fairfield University, a Juris Doctor (JD) from Albany Law School of Union University and is completing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Finance Law from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. Joe Goldsmith is Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer at RagingWire Data Centers, responsible for all aspects of go-to-market strategy and execution including: sales, marketing, product management, business development, channels, and sales operations. Joe is a proven sales executive with more than 25 years of experience, including more than a decade in the data center industry. Prior to joining RagingWire, Joe was the Chief Revenue Officer for Vantage Data Centers, utilizing his expertise in complex contract and lease negotiations to lead Vantage to become an industry leader in wholesale data centers. Previously, Joe was Vice President and General Manager at Digital Realty, where he led efforts related to global alliances, channel sales, and colocation products, growing the company’s annual revenues from $200 million to over $1.5 billion. He has also served as Executive Director of Global Accounts at Qwest, Director of Sales at FiberTower, and Vice President of Sales at Colo.com. Mr. Goldsmith earned a Bachelor’s degree from the California State University-Sacramento.

David Dunn is COO of H5 Data Centers. Mr. Dunn has nearly 15 years of experience managing significant growth and delivering outsized returns on investment in the Internet infrastructure space. Mr. Dunn most recently served as vice president at the Zayo Group where he was responsible for managing the wavelength and mobile infrastructure business units. Prior to Zayo, Mr. Dunn was senior vice president at CoreSite where he held leadership roles in mergers & acquisitions, leasing, marketing and strategy. Before joining CoreSite, Mr. Dunn held roles at several private equity firms including The Carlyle Group and J.E. Robert Companies. Mr. Dunn earned a B.S. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Corey Needles leads INAP’s USA business, including sales, marketing, product engineering, data center operations, service delivery and customer support. He brings over 20 years of experience in data center operations, operations expansion, enterprise infrastructure optimization and global team leadership to INAP. Prior to joining INAP, Mr. Needles held several senior management positions in various technology, data center and network management companies. Most recently, he served as Sr. Vice President of Operations, Engineering and Construction at zColo, a division of Zayo Group. Previously, Mr. Needles served in various management positions at Latysis, where he was responsible for providing overall vision, strategic direction and tactical implementation for enterprise-level blended IaaS, cloud-based solutions and global data center operations. Arman Khalili is the Founder and CEO of Foundation Data Center and is a Board Member of Evocative and brings with him over 25 years of experience in Internet Infrastructure industry.

Prior to joining the company, Arman served as a Principal at Industry Capital a real assets based private equity firm in San Francisco. He was the founder and CEO of CentralColo also known as Element Critical. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Black Lotus, a leader in DDoS mitigation company, which was acquired by Level 3, and was the Founder/CEO of UnitedLayer, the largest privately held colocation provider in San Francisco. He was the founder of Sirius – one of the first ISPs in Silicon Valley, as well as the Co-founder and CTO of MusicBank, the first music subscription company. He has held numerous senior consulting positions at Level3, AT&T and Apple Computers.

Kevin Dalton serves as Chief Data Center Officer for Cumulus Data, a division of Talen Energy Corporation. In this role, he leads the design and construction of data centers and supports technical customer sales efforts. He has over 30 years of experience developing 1,000 MW of data center capacity ($10B CapEx) across over 75 data centers globally.

Mr. Dalton is an expert in leveraging supply chain optimization and modular prefabricated construction techniques to drive rapid growth, improved quality, and speed to market. Throughout his career, he has set the standard for next-generation data center designs and led multiple successful sustainability initiatives.

Prior to joining Cumulus Data, Mr. Dalton served as Senior Vice President of Design & Construction for NTT Global Data Centers, responsible for leading the team that designs and delivers world-class data centers. Before his tenure with NTT Global Data Centers, he spent 12 years at Digital Realty in technical and senior management roles, including seven years as Vice President of Engineering, leading teams of engineers to deliver data center solutions for customers around the world. Mr. Dalton previously spent 10 years at MGE UPS Systems, a world leader in uninterrupted power supply systems, and nine years at McClier Corporation, a design-build firm.

Mr. Dalton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.

Ryan is the Senior Vice President of Revenue for EdgeCore Internet Real Estate. In this capacity, Ryan is accountable and provides strategic direction for the sales, marketing, and product functions of the company. Prior to EdgeCore, Ryan was Vice President and Group Head of the General Management function at CoreSite Realty Corporation where he was a member of CoreSite’s Senior Leadership Team. 26+ years of global experience in Data Center & Connectivity industry specializing in Product & Business Management Vinay Nagpal is an industry leader and visionary with global experience developing products and solutions in wholesale and retail colocation data centers with a strong focus on connectivity, subsea and terrestrial fiber. Currently, he is the President of InterGlobix LLC, a global consulting and advisory firm focused on the convergence of data centers, subsea and terrestrial fiber. Vinay is also the Co-Founder and Member of QTS Richmond NAP, which is a global Internet Interconnection hub in Virginia offering the lowest-latency, highest-capacity subsea connectivity. He is the Founding Member & Executive Director of Internet Ecosystem Innovation Committee (IEIC), an independent global committee that promotes Internet diversity and forming of Internet nexus points. Vinay also serves on the Leadership Board of NVTC Data Center & Cloud Committee, and actively leads Northern Virginia’s data center and connectivity initiatives. Vinay has been involved in the subsea developments in Virginia. He also serves on the Submarine Networks EMEA Customer Advisory Board, LINX NoVA Customer Advisory Board, and NVTC’s Executive Circle. As the Vice President of Product Management at Digital Realty / DuPont Fabros (DFT), he led product management of DFT’s Data Center, Connectivity and Managed Services. During his tenure, he developed company’s carrier-neutral data center connectivity and peering services, designed and implemented dark fiber networks and supported customers’ network requirements. His senior-level network-centric positions at Tata Communications, Verizon, MCI, Digex and UUNET allowed his to productize data center and connectivity services across US, Canada, London, Singapore, Australia and India. Madonna Park has over 20 years of experience as an investment banker and equity research analyst. As Global Head of RBC’s Data Infrastructure coverage group, Madonna is responsible for providing companies in the data center/hosting and fiber sectors with comprehensive financial advisory services, including merger and acquisition, leveraged buyout, recapitalization, refinancing, equity and debt underwriting and corporate finance solutions. Madonna has led a number of marquee M&A and capital markets transactions across North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining RBC, Madonna was a principal at a boutique investment bank. Prior to that, Madonna was a research analyst at Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan and TD Securities focused on covering large cap media and Internet companies. Madonna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Robert Covington is a Partner of RedBird Capital Partners, where he is responsible for RedBird’s Business & Financial Services, Communications Infrastructure and Technology related investment activity out of its Dallas office.

Mr. Covington led RedBird’s investments in Lifeline Capital Management, an asset manager specializing in purchasing of whole-life insurance policies; N3, an outsourced sales and marketing company focused on cloud services; Majority Strategies, a political advertising and marketing business driving constituent influence via direct mail, mobile marketing and other forms of media; and Compass Datacenters, a leading wholesale data center developer, specializing in customized build-to-order solutions for enterprise, cloud computing and service provider customers.

Mr. Covington has over 15 years of experience assisting entrepreneurs and families build their business with a specific focus in the Southern U.S. region. Prior to joining RedBird, Mr. Covington spent six years as a Managing Director of The Stephens Group, LLC, a private equity firm investing the capital of the Stephens family, one of America’s longest tenured private equity investors whose business activities began in 1933.

Prior to joining The Stephens Group, Mr. Covington was a General Partner at SSM Partners, a private equity firm focused on expansion stage technology, business services and consumer services companies. Prior to SSM, Mr. Covington was the Founder and CEO of Firstdoor, now part of Infor, where he built and directed a seventy-person organization that was one of the earliest “Software as a Service” business models.

Mr. Covington holds a B.S. in Natural Sciences and Mathematics from Washington and Lee University and received his MPH from Yale University.

Andrew is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Investment Banking team in the Americas. Andrew invests a significant amount of time in the data center sector, where he is focused on strategic advisory and capital markets client coverage for the firm’s clients. Andrew joined Deutsche Bank in 2006, where he spent four years in London before moving to New York in 2010.

Brett Owen is Vice President, Private Equity & Real Estate at Safanad, based in New York. He was previously on the investment banking team at Citibank in Australia, working on a variety of M&A transactions, predominantly in the natural resources and industrial sectors. Earlier in his career, he was a Manager on the M&A team at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Australia working in the energy and industrials sectors. Mr. Owen holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from FINSIA and is a Chartered Accountant (ICAA).

Chris Flynn brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience and well over $25 billion in overall real estate transaction experience to Strategic Data Center Fund Manager, LLC. In this role, he is responsible for acquisitions, leasing and management strategy.

Prior to Strategic Data Center Fund Manager, LLC, Chris was President at Lightstone Data Fund where he served as the company’s leader in the investment of digital infrastructure assets. In this capacity, he had overall responsibility for the strategic planning, capital raising, financing, acquisitions, development, operation and leasing.

Prior to joining Lightstone, Chris was a Vice President of Global Real Estate at EdgeConneX, a wholesale data center owner and developer, where he was responsible for all aspects of real estate including the acquisition and development of 40 data centers in the U.S., Canada, Europe and South America. The EdgeConneX portfolio consisted of over 3 million square feet, in excess of 350 megawatts of critical power and over $6 billion worth of data center transactions which helped EdgeConneX to grow from one data center in 2013 to a global presence in the edge and hyperscale market.

He was formerly the Director of Real Estate at XO Communications, a telecommunications company owned by Verizon Communications which provides managed and converged internet protocol network services for small and medium-sized enterprises. During his time at XO, Chris led a real estate team responsible for over $10 billion in acquisitions, renewals and dispositions and managed over 50,000 telecom license agreements. Chris serves on the board of directors for The First Tee of Washington, D.C. and volunteers at Stone Ridge School and Mater Dei School.

Therese is based in the Company’s Denver office and leads EdgeCore’s day-to-day data center operations and customer-lifecycle activities, from lease execution and move in through expiration and move out, including space build out, on-going support, and incident management. Therese brings significant experience in designing strategy and leading execution and operation of end-to-end service-delivery and customer-support teams, systems, and processes. Therese joined EdgeCore following roles of progressive accountability at CoreSite Realty Corporation, most recently as Vice President supporting and leading the company’s activities around customer-lifecycle management for more than 1,200 customers and $500M+ in annualized revenue. Her responsibilities included a) on-boarding and capacity deployment, b) on-going support via self-service systems (portal management) and a team of Strategic Account Service Representatives, c) capacity and contract management, d) service-processes design and improvement, and e) incident engagement, remediation, and avoidance. Prior to CoreSite, Therese was a Dean’s Research Fellow at the University of Colorado Law School, where she authored and collaborated in authoring works related to cybersecurity, telecommunications, and technology. Therese holds a B.A. in International Business from The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Maile Kaiser is CoreSite’s Senior Vice President of Sales. She is responsible for overseeing revenue growth, managing daily operations for CoreSite’s national sales organization and contributing to strategic planning. Maile joined CoreSite in 2012 and prior to this role was the Vice President of Sales for the Southwest and Central Regions as well as Strategic Content Accounts. Maile brings over 20 years of direct sales and management experience in the datacenter, network communications, software and managed services industries driving growth and innovation for large enterprises. Prior to joining CoreSite, Maile was responsible for wholesale and large enterprise sales at IO Datacenters (now Iron Mountain) and ran the Southwest region for Abovenet Communications (now Zayo). Maile started her career with Oracle Corporation. Maile received a BA in English Literature from the University of California, at Berkeley.

With more than 25 years of experience in mission critical construction and design, Lane Anderson has an extensive background in MEP projects and design and construction leadership. Having delivered over 3.5 million square feet of data center projects, Lane is well versed in designing for efficiency to pursue low PUE facilities and has strong expertise in building design and construction teams.

At QTS, he is responsible for Corporate Development, Construction, Design and Strategy, as well as Strategic Procurement.

Michael Durham is the General Manager for CoreSite’s Bay Area market, responsible for the overall investment performance and business operation of CoreSite’s San Jose, Milpitas, and Santa Clara facilities. Mr. Durham has been with CoreSite in this role for 18 months. Prior to CoreSite, he worked in Mergers and Acquisitions for Agilent Technologies managing inorganic growth and IP licensing; as a Financial Analyst for Xilinx’s R&D and CTO groups optimizing budget spend and resource allocation; and as a transportation engineer for CHA, Inc. designing traffic intersections and general aviation airports. Mr. Durham received a B.S. and a Masters of Civil Engineering from Cornell University.

Jason is co-founder of EPI - Mission Critical where he applies 15+ years experience building Internet infrastructure including; Data Center, Co-location, Virtualization, Caching, Connectivity, Security and Analytics. Prior to founding EPI - Mission Critical Jason played a significant roll at Amazon Web Services' expanding it's data center footprint globally, delivering over 100 new sites ranging from small POP's to Large Availability zones (150kw to 50 MW). While at AWS, Jason championed best practices with engineering and operations around site selection world wide. Jason created the site selection strategy adopted by his infrastructure peers and worked closely with real estate/asset design acquisition teams to address GAP in TCO for data center owners & operators.

Tejo manages the design processes and leads the construction of Stream Data Centers’ expanding portfolio of Hyperscale Data Centers, Private Data Center™ facilities, Build-to-Suit Data Centers and Ready-to-Fit™ powered shells. Tejo leverages his design, construction and mission critical background to support Stream’s ongoing growth, driving alignment across the design and development of new data center facilities and bolstering success for customers seeking to expand their IT footprints and capabilities.

Tejo holds a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University.

Jeff Moerdler is chair of the Haynes Boone Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice and a real estate partner in the New York office. He has more than 40 years’ experience in general commercial real estate law. Jeff’s real estate practice includes acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, and borrower’s side financing. Jeff also has a particular focus on real estate challenges facing communications, technology and energy companies, and represents property owners and telecom companies in telecom real estate matters, particularly in data center development, acquisitions, sales, leases, colocation agreements and service level agreements. His clients include both large national companies and smaller, local clients, and includes representation of landlords and tenants in all types of leases; counseling owners and developers in the acquisition, sale, joint venture, development, and renovation of property as well as sale-leaseback transactions; advising lenders and borrowers in commercial loans; and the representation of all parties in real estate litigation. He is actively involved in settling real estate, partnership, and inter-family disputes. He also represents many not-for-profit entities and is active in health care, senior living, and educational real estate.

During the past 35 years, Jeff has developed considerable experience in the intersection of real estate with communications, technology, and energy issues. He has extensive experience representing landlords, tenants, developers, and communications service providers in the leasing, purchase, sale, and financing of data centers, colocation facilities, radio and television broadcast antennas, distributed and in-building wireless systems, rooftop antennas, and fiber-optic transactions as well as the wiring of buildings for broadband communications access. Jeff has also negotiated thousands of data center leases, master services agreements, colocation agreements and service level agreements, rooftop and cellular antenna leases, inside wiring agreements, and antenna tower leases throughout the country – covering over 500 million square feet.

He has also devoted a considerable portion of his practice to power and energy issues related to real estate and other technology matters, including large solar and wind installations, battery storage facilities, and bulk power purchases.

Jeff is a frequent speaker on real estate, data center, and telecom topics around the country. He is Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and on the faculty of the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute. He regularly speaks as a panelist at data center, digital infrastructure and real estate conference around the United States. In addition, he is regularly quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bisnow, Commercial Property News, Real Estate Weekly, and other publications. He co-authored the first treatise chapter on telecom real law for Powell on Real Property in 1999.

Jeff has previously served in numerous governmental positions, including as a Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, a member of the New York State Banking Board, a member of the New York State Financial Control Board, a member of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the Appellate Division of the First Department of the New York State Supreme Court, Assistant to the First Deputy Mayor of the City of New York, and assistant to the Deputy Borough President of the Borough of Manhattan. From 1981 to 1982, Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, US District Judge, and later Chief Judge, for the Southern District of New York.

Jeff is also an emergency medical technician on his local volunteer ambulance and President of his local chapter, as well as having served for 8 years on the Board of Trustees of the umbrella organization which is the largest volunteer ambulance service in the United States.

Bruce Myatt is a Director in the Mission Critical Data Center Group. He offers over 35 years

data center and power systems engineering, design, analysis, business/ project development and business operations experience, Bruce serves as a Project Advisor, Technical Director, and Client Sponsor for selected Data Center clients.

He is responsible for the development and support of new client business and projects. He leads contractual negotiations and client relationships and he supports Enercon engineering teams with the delivery of complex and important projects related to data center design template design guidelines and equipment specifications, as well as on-site power generation and distribution.

Responsible for data center product sales in the Americas 27 years of HVAC engineering and sales experience, including extensive work with custom air-handling solutions that has utilized air-to-air energy recovery, dehumidification, precision air conditioning and evaporative cooling. 17 years experience in Data Center Cooling. Previous positions include working as regional sales manager and national commercial sales manager for Munters/Des Champs Technologies and as an applications engineer for Diversified Control Systems. Hobbies include running, hiking/mountaineering, kayaking, and adventure travel.

Jason joined Element Critical With 15+ years of hands-on and management experience in the technology and data center industries. He has worked with, and for, all sizes of companies. From startups to Fortune 500’s, Jason relates data center infrastructure to comprehensive IT and business solutions. Prior to joining Ken Parent to launch Element Critical in 2016, Jason successfully built business and mission-critical teams in solutions engineering, managed services, engineering, operations, construction, security, and corporate strategy for multiple private and provider-based data centers globally. Jason co-founded Vantage Data Centers in Santa Clara, creating and running engineering, operations, construction, solutions engineering, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He assisted organizations in leading the delivery of four net-new Tier 3+ facilities and 50MW+ of customer solutions in 24 months. Subsequent to Vantage, Jason served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at both Sentinel Data Centers and Gexpro (Rexel USA) before co-founding a boutique data center, IT, and energy consultation firm performing over $10BN of data center acquisition assessment in 2016. Prior to Vantage, Jason ran managed services and solutions engineering for FusionStorm, directed solutions engineering for RagingWire Enterprise Data Center Solutions, and ran global IT operations and disaster recovery for Gap Inc.

Kemal Hawa is a corporate partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Kemal represents many of the world’s largest private equity firms, infrastructure funds, real estate investors and lenders across a broad range of transactions in the digital infrastructure sector domestically and internationally, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, financing arrangements, joint ventures and development projects.

Kemal counsels clients in complex transactions across the digital infrastructure and telecommunications, media and technology industries. This includes many of the world’s largest data center operators, telecommunications carriers, tower companies, cloud providers, fiber providers, media companies, submarine cable operators, fintech companies, wireless and international carriers, internet service providers, satellite companies, equipment manufacturers and electric utilities.

On multiple occasions he has been nominated and won Industrial Broker of the Year by the (ASVB) Association of Silicon Valley Brokers an elected group consisting of his industry peers. Additionally, he has been acknowledged by the Silicon Valley Business Journal Structures Award for “Most Creative Deal of The Year” for his efforts in successfully leading 156,000 square foot corporate head quarter relocation with a property ownership in bankruptcy foreclosure.

Significant Silicon Valley Data Center market share as Jerry was involved in 44% of all data center transactions in 2013, and 30% over the past 18 years, totaling over 175 Mega Watts or 3.2 million square feet. Jerry is a Northern California Practice Leader for CBRE's Data Center Solutions group.

He leads a Silicon Valley based team providing strategic occupancy budgeting-forecasting-planning, transaction management, project/construction management, remote office capabilities, facility management, and lease administration.

He lives locally in Menlo Park with his wife and two daughters and is an avid runner just completing the LA Marathon.

Miles Loo Jr., CRE, FRICS, joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2017 in the Downtown Los Angeles office, where he serves as Vice Chairman and the Global Lead for Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Data Centers & Life Science group. Miles is well recognized as the industry’s leading appraiser of data center properties. His experience includes advising private equity funds, institutional investors, large pension funds, Fortune 500 companies, cloud companies and Global IT conglomerates on investments in all types of data centers, including mission critical, disaster recovery data centers, colocation facilities, carrier hotels, internet gateways and life science properties. These assignments have involved data centers owned and/or operated by Fortune 500 companies across numerous industries as well as Uptime Institute Site Certified Tier III and Tier IV facilities; U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Platinum, Gold and Silver buildings; and state and federal disaster recovery data centers. Miles has led valuations of large individual and portfolio valuations spanning multiple countries across six continents (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM and African regions) and has consulted on a number of the world’s largest data centers.

Mr. Lupfer has over 20 years of experience focused on Cloud infrastructure and services, as well as nearly a decade with international telecommunications providers in M&A, Operations, Finance, and Marketing roles. At CORTAC Group, a unique consulting firm with extensive datacenter experience and expertise in Project Planning and Controls, Management Consulting, Technology Solutions, Business Capture, and M&A integration, Mr. Lupfer helps clients with Cloud migrations, Cloud product design, M&A integration, and sales operations. During roles at Microsoft Corporation, JPMorgan Chase, and America Online, Mr. Lupfer received numerous awards including a Global Technology Infrastructure Award, a Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure Operations Award, multiple CFO Awards, and recognition from the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) for sponsoring women-owned businesses in the areas of process automation and operational efficiency. Mr. Lupfer holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s International OneMBA program, with additional degrees and coursework from the US Air Force Academy, George Washington University, and Ohio State University.

Emily Naughton focuses her practice on transactions in the telecommunications, media and technology space, with an emphasis on cloud computing.  Emily has represented clients in connection with real estate acquisitions, development projects and leases, mergers and acquisitions involving cloud service providers, and telecommunications network infrastructure deals.  Emily has represented some of the world’s largest content providers globally in connection with network procurement and colocation and data center leases involving providers ranging from multinational companies to single facility operators. Emily has experience representing property owners in the acquisition, financing and development of real estate; landlords and tenants in a variety of short- and long-term leases and subleases; and developers on complex land use and permitting matters. Emily has also represented contractors and subcontractors in the negotiation of construction contracts and disputes. Mr. Osborn has over 20 years’ experience as a top performing Sales Engineer delivering

customers complex, highly managed HVAC Solutions. He is a graduate Engineer from

the University of Illinois and a Certified Data Center Design Professional. During his 18-

year career at Trane, Mr. Osborn received several awards including; 5-time recipient of

Salesman of the Year Award, 10-time member of the National Top 10 Sales Engineer’s

Club and was awarded the Controls Salesman of the Year 6 times.

Mr. Snyder is currently VP strategic accounts at Panduit. A 20+ year veteran of the telecommunications & data center industries, Mr. Snyder’s career highlights include being an original team member at Equinix. As the first direct sales hire at Equinix, Mr. Snyder was a key member of the early go to market team where he built the carrier/ISP ecosystem as well as the “ICE” (Internet Core Exchange) product. Most recently he was Co-founder of Console Connect (sold to PCCW last year) where he served as VP Business and Product development. He also has deep roots in the internet exchange community having worked at MFS Worldcom which operated some of the nations first exchange points (MAE west, MAE east) and also worked at Brooks Fiber Communications. Mr. Snyder has a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

John Sheputis is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Primary Digital Infrastructure, an independent data center investment platform. From 2019 through 2023, John was a Managing Director at GI Partners where he led the technology real estate acquisitions and headed the Essential Tech + Science Real Estate Fund. Prior to GI Partners, Mr. Sheputis was President of Infomart Data Centers. In 2018, the Dallas Infomart was acquired by Equinix and the remaining Infomart assets and operations were acquired by IPI Partners to be the initial properties for STACK Infrastructure. Prior to Infomart, Mr. Sheputis was Co-Founder and CEO of Fortune Data Centers. Mr. Sheputis received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA and an MS Engineering from Northwestern.

Michael J. Sweeney is a Vice President with Avison Young’s Philadelphia office after joining the firm in March of 2018 after being a Director with Cushman and Wakefield. With over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, Michael’s experience includes lease negotiations, tenant relocation/renewals, and implementation of “C-level” multi-state strategic real estate planning. His focus is on the Suburban Philadelphia market, where he has successfully represented over 3,000,000 SF of office and high-finish flex transactions during his previous tenures. Additionally, Michael led the leasing operations for Pennsylvania Business Campus (Horsham, PA) from 2013-2017, where he was responsible for a 40-building portfolio spanning across 2.4 million square feet containing over 150 tenants.

Over his career Michael has worked for Liberty Property Trust, Workspace Property Trust and Jones Lang LaSalle. He has been named a Costar Power Broker for Philadelphia Office Leasing. A graduate of Villanova University, Michael is additionally a member of the Montgomery County Development Corporation (MCDC), and volunteers with Merwood Park Civic Association, Habitat for Humanity, and coaching with Haverford Soccer Club & Brookline Baseball.
