Jeff Berkes is the West Coast President for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this

capacity, Mr. Berkes is responsible for leading the Trust’s West Coast Leasing,

Development, Asset Management, and Acquisitions teams; achieving corporate P & L

goals; and growing the Trust’s West Coast portfolio. Prior to his current role, Mr. Berkes

was the Trust’s Chief Investment Officer since 2004. Mr. Berkes also serves as a

member of the Trust’s Executive, Investment, and Finance Committees. Mr. Berkes is

located in the Trust's West Coast Headquarters at Santana Row in San Jose, California.

Prior to joining Federal Realty in 2000, Mr. Berkes was Vice President of Acquisitions

and Finance for Velsor Properties, a Northern Virginia-based private real estate

investment firm. He served as Director of Acquisitions for Federal Realty from April

1997 to August 1998. Prior to joining Federal Realty in 1997, Mr. Berkes was Vice

President of Acquisitions for Heitman Financial/JMB Institutional Realty Corp. He also

worked as a loan officer for ITT Real Estate Services and as a Regional Investment

Analyst for CB/Richard Ellis prior to joining JMB.

Mr. Berkes has an undergraduate degree in Finance and Real Estate from University of

Denver and a Masters of Business Administration in International Finance from George

Washington University.

Mr. Berkes is an active member of The George Washington University Center for Real

Estate and Urban Analysis Advisory Board, Urban Land Institute, and International

Council of Shopping Centers.

As Managing Director and co-founder of SteelWave CDS, LLC, Cy Colburn oversees the construction and design department of SteelWave. Cy and his partner Edward Nazaradeh manage a staff of professional construction managers, design project managers and administrators in Northern & Southern California, Colorado, Washington & Texas. The SteelWave CDS team designs and builds tenant improvement, capital improvements and new building shells for office, residential, R&D and industrial projects. Cy’s primary responsibility is to direct the Design to Budget/Build to Budget program throughout all regions.

Before joining SteelWave in 1984, Cy worked for Western Empire Constructors, Inc, as a project manager.

Leo O’Brian is a Principal with ima, an international landscape architecture firm specializing in mixed-use, theme park and site specific urban design. For more than 20 years, O’Brian has collaborated with private land owners to create distinctive live/work/play neighborhoods and villages, with specific emphasis on creating captivating and engaging public spaces.

Currently O’Brian is working with the Irvine Company on Santa Clara Square Phase 3, adding multi-family neighborhoods and pedestrian gathering spaces to this dynamic campus community in the heart of Silicon Valley. He recently completed work on River View Apartment Homes, a vibrant mixed-use community on First Street in San Jose. In Irvine, O’Brian led the ima team on Cypress Village, a 400-acre village featuring a vibrant mix of residential open space and mixed-use elements seamlessly integrated to create a memorable sense of place.

Before joining ima in 2009, O’Brian served as vice president of landscape architecture at the Irvine Company. He worked on several of the company’s most celebrated community, mixed-use and retail projects that are highly articulated place making solutions.

O’Brian earned his master’s degree in landscape architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and Urban Land Institute.

George Hurley leads DPR Construction’s Healthcare Core Market and has over 35 years of

experience in the engineering and construction of major healthcare projects. His extensive

background and technical expertise in project evaluation, financial management, scheduling,

and strategic planning has led to the successful execution of many large-scale projects. George

is passionate about executing projects utilizing integrated project delivery (IPD), incorporating

building information modeling (BIM) and Lean construction principles. Since joining DPR

Construction in 1997, he has helped change the way large projects are set up and executed.

Most recently, he served as Project Executive on Stanford Children’s Health Lucile Packard

Children’s Hospital Expansion.

George earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Montana State University and is

a U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Accredited Professional. George is a member of the

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Golden Gate Chapter, the American Society for

Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), and the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP).

Dave Hopkins joined Sares Regis Group in 2007. With Todd Regonini, Dave provides the strategic direction for Sares Regis and Regis Homes’ development activities, primarily focused on infill residential within the inner Bay Area. Dave is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

Mike Kim serves as Senior Managing Director of Mill Creek’s Northern California office, where he leads the development activities in the San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, and Silicon Valley metro regions. During his 24-year real estate career, he has been involved in the development and construction of multifamily mixed-use communities, and commercial developments with aggregate values in excess of $2.2 billion in the NCAL and PNW markets.

Prior to joining Mill Creek, Mr. Kim served as Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at SIMEON Properties where he led the firm’s multifamily and commercial development activities. He began his real estate career in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he was involved in complex urban developments across various typologies including high-rise, horizontal and vertical mixed-use, master plans, and commercial developments. Prior to his career in real estate development, Mr. Kim served the nation for seven years as a Naval Officer leading maritime missions and expeditions in all major theaters of operation.

Mr. Kim holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis. He has served on various boards such as the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley CA, NAIOP San Francisco, and several municipal Advisory Councils.

Vitina manages project teams from design through construction for land development, site design, and infill projects. Vitina has extensive experience with stormwater management throughout the construction process and after completion as well as designing and implementing stormwater controls. Her projects consist of hotel, education, retail, commercial, residential, mixed-use, civic, corporate, and transportation developments. Working with owners, architects, civic leaders, and government agencies, Vitina provides services for preliminary planning, design, entitlement, and construction phases. She has prepared stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs) as well as site and off-site plans for street improvements, traffic, LEED designation, Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, and historical preservation.
