Situated on the south shore of Lake Washington, Southport is a new mixed-use urban development of 17.1 acres of waterfront property and includes three, 9-story buildings consisting of 712,752 SF of Class "A" office space with an attached parking garage providing 2,100 parking spaces. The office campus features large, efficient floor plates ranging from 18,000 to 36,900 RSF. Each building has spacious, light and airy corporate common spaces and internal building connection within the first floor and podium roof terraces between buildings.

As the owner and sole proprietor of SECO Development, Michael’s experience stretches over

three decades; he has been purchasing and building real estate since 1980. SECO Development

has been recognized as one of the most successful mixed-use development companies in the

Seattle and Puget Sound region with over 38 years as a significant landowner in Seattle,

Bellevue, Kirkland, and Renton.

As a principal in SECO Development, Michael is intimately involved in all aspects of

development and is personally in charge of acquisitions and dispositions. He is involved in

design, marketing, and financing while maintaining strong relationships with the cities in which

he builds. Michael has a unique ability to identify opportunities and formulate a vision that is

consistent with municipalities, local neighborhoods, and financial institutions. With Michael’s

Michael Harold

Michael is a veteran Capitol Hill operative, seasoned communications professional, and public policy wonk. He currently leads WeWork's Public Affairs team across the Pacific US + CAN and is focused on storytelling, social impact, government affairs, and strategic partnerships. He is a former Legislative Director for a senior member of Congress, having focused on international trade, foreign policy and defense-related issues. Under Michael, Rep Blumenauer secured the second highest "Legislative Effectiveness" score in the House, illustrating a keen ability to not only craft policy but successfully drive bills through the legislative process. He is proudest of the opportunity to help revise and reform the Iraq and Afghan Special Immigrant Visa programs, and help craft the Water for the World Act, boosting the US's capacity to provide greater access to clean water and sanitation and mitigate transboundary water conflict. He hails from Portland, OR, got stuck in DC and Boston for the better part of a decade, and now proudly calls Seattle home. Michael obtained his bachelors from American University and his masters from Tufts' Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, graduating magna cum laude, former and latter. When not (We)working, you'll find Michael with his two young daughters and wife seeking adventure both far and near.

Brett Conway

Brett Conway is an Associate Principal and architect at Mackenzie, where he co-leads the

firm’s industrial market sector. With more than 40 years of experience, he advises

developers, investors, and operators across the West Coast.

Since starting his career in San Francisco, Brett has developed deep expertise in

manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, retail and logistics environments. His work

focuses on durable environments, efficient goods movement, last-mile delivery, and

scalable industrial development strategies in constrained urban and regional markets.

His project portfolio spans specialized facilities such as Twelve, a sustainable aviation fuel

plant, and an Aerospace Innovation Center, a master-planned campus supporting

advanced manufacturing and workforce development in aeronautics. He is also leading

Northern California’s first onshoring site for a confidential flywheel energy storage system.

He serves as architect of record for a 10-building campus for an advanced technology

company in Fremont and for another advanced technology company in Folsom. His

experience also includes industrial repositioning work for PacTrust, Lift Partners, and Infill

Partners, along with ground-up developments for Panattoni, Fortress, Bertch, Trammell

Crow, and Prologis Georgetown Crossroads, the nation’s first multistory warehouse.

Mackenzie is a multidisciplinary design and engineering firm with offices in Sacramento,

Seattle, Vancouver, and Portland, offering integrated services across industrial commercial

real estate markets.

Ben McGrann

Throughout his 15+ years of project management, Ben has delivered over

$700 M in new construction, tenant improvements and program based portfolio

management. Ben has worked with a range of project types which include

technology, healthcare, office, retail, banking, and cafes. Ben builds trust with

clients, customers, and vendor partnerships by focusing on Service, Trust, Integrity,

Honesty, and Leadership. Ben and his teams have created over $50 M in value

for his clients from savings concentrated initiatives through value engineering,

competitive bidding, and alternative methods of project/program delivery.

Ben’s experiences range from large new construction of $150 M, to full building

300,000 square feet tenant improvements, and program based life cycle refresh

programs for Café and Audio Visual conference rooms. Additionally, Ben is a

leader in developing and leading highly effective teams for account based project

and program delivery. He takes time to understand our clients’ goals and builds

programs and teams to support the successful delivery with measurable results

and performance based reporting

Recently, Ben led a team of 80 project managers across the Americas supporting

a large technology retailer in Seattle. His team supported Special Projects

ranging from $10K to $10M and an overall yearly program budget of $75 M. The

team additionally supported system furniture, building operations launch and

moves. His team created a rhythm of business for supporting ongoing project

delivery, oversight on budget and cost management, and the creation of process

documentation to ensure efficient and effective of a wide range of projects.

A 25 year veteran in the commercial design and construction field, Peter Hau co-manages Swinerton’s Corporate Services group and is responsible for over 90 corporate client relationships across Swinerton’s 18 offices.

Peter is a demonstrated industry leader with focus on consistent delivery, operational excellence and overall client satisfaction—overseeing over $400 million of office tenant improvement and renovation projects per year.

His experience includes the successful delivery of complex multi-regional office expansion and renovation programs, retail rollouts, and industrial projects for major corporate clients in the technology, retail, hospitality and financial services sectors.

Peter’s role affords him a broad and strategic view of corporate real estate and commercial office trends across multiple US markets. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cal Paly, San Luis Obispo and the University of Pennsylvania.

Dan Simpson

Dan Simpson, a principal in the Seattle office, brings more than 37 years of design experience, including conceptual and design development, technical coordination and documentation, and design team management. He has worked on a number of complex projects for clients such as Providence Health & Services, The Everett Clinic, and Microsoft Corporation, and has demonstrated his sensitivity to the use and detailing of appropriate materials, building systems, and technologies to optimize design quality within established budgets. Dan has been honored with several design awards from the AIA and other organizations, recognizing his commitment to design quality. He is highly regarded by clients for his ability to listen and translate a wide range of design criteria, from complex programs and challenging sites to budget constraints, and to synthesize appropriate design strategies while achieving excellence. He has taught architectural design and served as a visiting critic at institutions in Washington, Virginia, and Massachusetts. Dan has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Washington State University and a Master of Architecture from the Harvard University, Graduate School of Design.

Lindsey has devoted her career to understanding the risks faced by design and construction professionals. Her clients include owners, owner’s representatives, international multi-disciplinary design firms, as well as local engineering and architecture firms. Lindsey takes great pride in offering an integrated suite of services to her clients, providing advice on risk management, contract negotiation, conflict resolution, as well as defending her clients from claims.

Lindsey has represented design and construction professionals in all manner of civil litigation at both the federal and state court levels, including defending her clients from claims involving allegations of defects, cost overruns or schedule overruns on construction projects ranging from residential to commercial to infrastructure; as well as claims of personal injury or wrongful death against construction and/or design professionals occurring on construction projects or allegedly related to design/construction safety issues on completed projects.

Lindsey’s clients benefit from her litigation insight. In addition to her litigation practice, Lindsey counsels her clients in prudent contracting practices, careful client selection, collection strategies, partnering agreements and many other aspects of their daily work. She works with her clients throughout the life of their projects to ensure careful risk management, and is often called upon to assist with conflict resolution between project participants.

Her work with design and construction professionals has enriched Lindsey’s life beyond her professional endeavors. Lindsey is passionate about innovation within the industry, and particularly the use of alternative delivery and teaming agreements to improve the processes, efficiency and quality of the work her clients do. She is a frequent presenter to industry organizations and professionals. Additionally, she takes an active interest in mentoring and supporting both the construction and legal professions through her volunteer work.

Brett is a Managing Partner the CEO at Preylock Real Estate Holdings, where he oversees all aspects of the business. Prior to founding Preylock Brett was most recently the Portfolio Manager and a Partner at RMA, a real estate private equity fund with over $1 billion under management. There, he was responsible for portfolio management, asset management and sourcing direct real estate investment opportunities. Brett has significant experience and a deep understanding of multiple real estate product types including office, industrial, hotels, retail and multifamily.

Prior to joining RMA, Brett worked for JP Morgan, most recently on the Global Real Assets (“GRA”) platform, one of the largest institutional real estate investors in the world with over $65 billion dollars in real estate assets under management. While working on the GRA platform he worked on the West Coast Acquisitions team where he underwrote and closed a broad spectrum of real estate transactions which included varying product types, geographies and risk profiles. Brett began his career at JP Morgan in the Investment Banking Division where he provided strategic advice to large corporations and private equity funds.

In addition to his roles at JP Morgan, Brett has held positions at Ernst & Young, where he worked as a Mergers & Acquisitions consultant and at Highbridge Capital Management, where he helped build out a mezzanine and private equity platform.

Jeff joined Schnitzer West in 2005, playing a key role in the development, leasing and management of The Bravern, a 1.6 million SF multi-use development in Bellevue, Washington and most recently led the investment, development and disposition of more than 650,000 SF in Class A commercial property in Seattle and Bellevue.

Prior to joining Schnitzer West, Jeff owned a residential and commercial excavation and concrete company.

Jeff holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with an emphasis in real estate and finance, and a B.A. in International Relations from Brigham Young University.

Josh is Chief Operating Officer at The Roseview Group, a real estate investment and advisory firm. For more than 18 years, Josh has been a trusted advisor to Roseview’s clients, helping to raise equity, restructure debt and set capital and business strategy for real estate investment and development companies across the country and for a wide range of property types. Roseview recently announced that is it merging with Madison Marquette, where Josh will continue to co-lead the firm’s national capital markets practice, which has helped clients close more than $6 billion in equity and debt financings, acquisitions, and dispositions. Josh is based in Seattle.

After earning a B.A. from Harvard University, Josh began his career in the public sector, including three years in New York City government. He also earned an M.B.A. from Stanford University. Josh is a member the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Washington State Advisory Board of the Trust for Public Land, as well as on the board of Forterra’s Strong Communities Fund.

William Leedom

Bill brings more than a decade of real estate experience and almost twenty years of finance experience to Talon. In his career he has bought and sold over $2 billion in real estate assets and managed assets totaling over $5 billion dollars across the United States with US based and international institutional partners. Along with the other Investment Directors Bill has responsibility for executing the property business plans for Talon assets. In this role Bill is responsible for sourcing acquisitions, managing the asset and its ultimate disposition. Since joining Talon in 2012, Bill has had two primary mandates. He worked on a team that managed, leased up and disposed of a 2.7 million square foot portfolio of 13 projects across the Puget Sound on behalf of an institutional partner. Additionally, he has led the entitlement, financing and development of a 1.2 million square foot mixed use development called Kirkland Urban. Bill joined Talon from Metzler Real Estate. At Metzler Bill had day to day asset management responsibilities for a portfolio of seven trophy class properties located across the United States that were owned by a German separate account and four assets owned by the Metzler US Real Estate Fund (“MUSREF”) located across the United States. Prior to Metzler, Bill interned at Seattle based Schnitzer West. Before business school, Mr. Leedom worked at the investment bank Cascadia Capital as an Associate for four years. While at Cascadia, Bill worked in both the mergers and acquisitions and private placement groups executing transactions on behalf of Cascadia’s clients across the United States. Bill began his career at Freeman & Mills in Los Angeles where he worked in the field of litigation consulting. Bill has an MBA from Columbia Business School and an Economics-Accounting degree from Claremont McKenna College. He lives in Laurelhurst with his wife and two sons.

Mollie Fadule

Mollie has significant experience in the acquisition, disposition and management of complex real estate transactions domestically and internationally, including underwriting and closing transactions involving direct equity, bridge equity, senior and mezzanine debt and joint ventures across multiple property types representing over $2B in equity and debt investments and over $4B in asset value. From 2012-2018, Mollie worked exclusively with affiliates of The Blackstone Group. In her work with Blackstone, Mollie managed investments in which she co-invested and acted as a board member and investment committee member representing Blackstone. Prior to co-founding Cephas Partners, Mollie was a Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Real Estate Principal Investments group in New York. Mollie also served as an analyst at UBS Investment Bank.

Mollie is a graduate of Harvard University, where she earned an Honors Degree in History and Science. While at Harvard, Mollie walked on to the rowing team and earned NCAA Division I All-American, All-New England and All-Ivy honors.

Mollie is the 2018 President of CREW Seattle, and has served on the Board of CREW Seattle since 2015. She has also served the CREW Network Finance and Investment Committees as Member/Chair from 2014 to present. Mollie serves on the Women’s Leadership Initiative Committee of ULI Northwest and is a Member of NAIOP. Mollie has received several honors and recognitions including Seattle 40 under 40, NAIOP’s National Developing Leader Award, and was named a BisNow Seattle Power Woman. Mollie has three children and enjoys spending time in the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.
