Chris leads business and commercial efforts for ScaleMatrix and its various brands and business units. Focused on both strategic direction and overall execution, he credits his nearly two decades of experience across a broad spectrum of positions within the hosting space with helping him anticipate the constant changes which face this ever evolving industry. Prior to ScaleMatrix, Chris served as president of the Complex Drive Data Center Group for four years, and held a number of key leadership positions within the hosting and colocation industry.

John directs activity for Sabey Data Centers’ three million square feet of mission critical space held in the current portfolio, as well as new development, acquisition and the creation of new service offerings. He also serves as Senior Vice President of Real Estate for Sabey Corporation, overseeing the commercial real estate portfolio comprising office and medical technology space. His business career started in Chicago with Prudential Real Estate Investors and he joined Sabey Corporation in 1995.

26+ years of global experience in Data Center & Connectivity industry specializing in Product & Business Management Vinay Nagpal is an industry leader and visionary with global experience developing products and solutions in wholesale and retail colocation data centers with a strong focus on connectivity, subsea and terrestrial fiber. Currently, he is the President of InterGlobix LLC, a global consulting and advisory firm focused on the convergence of data centers, subsea and terrestrial fiber. Vinay is also the Co-Founder and Member of QTS Richmond NAP, which is a global Internet Interconnection hub in Virginia offering the lowest-latency, highest-capacity subsea connectivity. He is the Founding Member & Executive Director of Internet Ecosystem Innovation Committee (IEIC), an independent global committee that promotes Internet diversity and forming of Internet nexus points. Vinay also serves on the Leadership Board of NVTC Data Center & Cloud Committee, and actively leads Northern Virginia’s data center and connectivity initiatives. Vinay has been involved in the subsea developments in Virginia. He also serves on the Submarine Networks EMEA Customer Advisory Board, LINX NoVA Customer Advisory Board, and NVTC’s Executive Circle. As an active participant in industry forums, Vinay is a member of the PTC Membership Committee, Marketing & Communications Committee and SubOptic Diversity & Inclusion Working Group. Vinay’s past endeavors include being part of the Open-IX Association board to build open standards for data centers and IXPs. As the Vice President of Product Management at Digital Realty / DuPont Fabros (DFT), he led product management of DFT’s Data Center, Connectivity and Managed Services. During his tenure, he developed company’s carrier-neutral data center connectivity and peering services, designed and implemented dark fiber networks and supported customers’ network requirements. His senior-level network-centric positions at Tata Communications, Verizon, MCI, Digex and UUNET allowed his to productize data center and connectivity services across US, Canada, London, Singapore, Australia and India. Vinay holds an MBA in Information Systems, a B.S. in Computer Science, an ITIL certification and a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering. He has authored white papers, blogs, and industry publications on datacenter and connectivity services. He has been invited a speaker to several renowned conferences across the world.

David Dunn is COO of H5 Data Centers. Mr. Dunn has nearly 15 years of experience managing significant growth and delivering outsized returns on investment in the Internet infrastructure space. Mr. Dunn most recently served as vice president at the Zayo Group where he was responsible for managing the wavelength and mobile infrastructure business units. Prior to Zayo, Mr. Dunn was senior vice president at CoreSite where he held leadership roles in mergers & acquisitions, leasing, marketing and strategy. Before joining CoreSite, Mr. Dunn held roles at several private equity firms including The Carlyle Group and J.E. Robert Companies. Mr. Dunn earned a B.S. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Ileana works in the Cloud Operations + Innovation CTO office at Microsoft, focusing on enabling and scaling next gen platforms into Microsoft's Data Centers. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ileana worked for the Data Center Engineering team for LinkedIn, focusing primarily on energy efficiency and operational cost saving measures. Before that, Ileana worked for a sustainability consulting firm, and Amazon Web Services' Data Center teams. She has a B.S in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Sustainable Design.

As Director of Critical Environments, Brenda Ross manages the architectural data center

division of Salas O’Brien. A licensed architect and subject-matter-expert for over 30

years, Brenda has provided innovative solutions, comprehensive design, and technical

expertise to Fortune 50 Corporations, Enterprise Data Center providers, and Co-location

and Internet Service Providers. She has been a panelist speaker at several CAPRE data

center conferences including the Pacific Northwest Data Center Summit. In 2019, Brenda

was nominated for the CREW Women in Tech award that honors women who stand for

innovation and leadership in technology. Brenda has a wide variety of data center

experience throughout the US and Canada and prefers to work on large-scale projects.

Currently, she and her team are working with two large technology campuses in the San

Francisco area, for a fortune 50 cloud company, developing its first three-story data

center prototype. She has done several master planning designs with Sabey Data Center

Properties for multi-building technology campuses with three to five data centers per

location, and has completed design and construction of six data centers (188,640 to

249,00 sf buildings) on two of these campuses. Brenda thrives on the details that

harmonize building design, engineering, and construction, creating efficient, secure,

reliable, and scalable facilities. She never stops seeking improvements and believes

successful projects are designed to client expectations, combine aesthetic value and

technical excellence, and are delivered on schedule and on budget.

With more than 15 years of real estate experience, William Lu serves as senior vice president and market officer for CA’s industrial division. In his role, William is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of the division’s growth across the West through deal pipeline generation and market strategy creation.

Prior to joining CA, William served as senior vice president for CenterPoint Properties, where he was responsible the development department across the West including the Greater Los Angeles, Oakland and Seattle markets. There, William was responsible for setting strategic goals for the western United States region, recruiting and managing a regional team, ensuring execution of corporate goals, working with the investments team on acquiring stabilized assets, sourcing development sites and serving as the primary point of contact for brokers and tenant for development projects. William has also served as a vice president at Conor Commercial Real Estate where he was responsible for managing development projects in the California/​Nevada market, including land selection and acquisition, feasibility/​underwriting, entitlements, financing, development/​construction, leasing and disposition efforts. He has also held roles as a project manager with Pulte Homes and a senior staff manager with AMEC Earth & Environmental.

William earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of California at Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business.

Marjan takes a holistic approach towards representing her clients, with the

goal of understanding what’s driving a deal from a business standpoint. Her

background as in-house legal counsel at a commercial real estate company

has provided her with invaluable insight into the day-to-day business and

legal issues experienced by developers, building owners, and property

managers, and has allowed her to form a pragmatic approach to her deals.

Marjan represents developers, property owners, tenants and business

owners in all aspects of real estate transactions and development, including

commercial leasing, property acquisitions and dispositions, due diligence

and feasibility analysis, development strategies, environmental review, and

construction and design contracting. She often drafts and negotiates a

variety of commercial agreements, including leases, subleases, purchase

and sale agreements, license agreements and easements. Her leasing

practice encompasses office, retail, build-to-suit, industrial, and ground

leases. She also advises clients on real estate matters related to mergers

and acquisitions.

Additionally, Marjan represents global cloud-based infrastructure service

providers in connection with colocation agreements, data center

developments, hosting agreements, service level agreements, indefeasible

rights of use agreements and related telecommunications infrastructure

agreements.

Prior to moving in-house, Marjan practiced environmental law for five years,

advising clients on the allocation of environmental risk in leases and

purchase and sale contracts, overseeing site clean-ups and defending

clients against state and federal agency actions.
