Daniel has been actively involved in the Seattle commercial real estate scene for nearly twenty-five years. He spent the first fifteen years acquiring value-add opportunities across a variety of real estate product types. During the last ten years, Daniel’s focus has been on the acquisition, entitlement and construction of multi-family properties in the Seattle area. He created the Cubix™️ brand of affordable micro-apartments to accomplish this goal.

He graduated from Gonzaga University, earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in Public Relations and Communications, where he is currently on the Board of Regents. He lives in Seattle, with his wife and two children.

Robb is the Managing Director for Overcast Innovations, a manufacturer of integrated ceiling systems. His history includes being the General Manager of the Seattle-area branches of Johnson Controls and Siemens Smart Infrastructure. In those roles, he oversaw the sales, installation and services for Fire and Life Safety systems, Security Systems and HVAC Building Automation systems, Digital Services, Mechanical Equipment and IoT Solutions for Smart Buildings. Robb began his technology career with the US Navy and worked for Siemens both in global technology management and local general management. He also globalized a Swiss-German start-up in the FinTech industry and he co-founded a green building start-up in Washington and Oregon. Robb is President of the Board of the Smart Building Center, a member of the Washington State’s West Sound STEM Network Leadership and is invested in connecting industry to education across the entire state of Washington.

Adam Jongeward – Associate Principal at DCI Engineers – brings targeted engineering conceptualization of modular and prefabricated component construction to his projects. Since joining DCI, Adam has expanded his project experience with steel box modular design and has informed developers, stakeholders, overseas fabricators, and local jurisdictions on how to successfully integrate intermodal modules into U.S. building code in high seismic areas. He has acute insight into construction feasibility, workplan strategies, code compliant connection details, lateral framing systems, modular interconnectivity, fire-rating requirements, and seismic load resistance.

During Nate's over 15-year tenure with Mortenson, he has been instrumental in developing our hospitality, residential, and multi-family market expertise within the Pacific Northwest.

As Director of Project Development, Nate engages and collaborates from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring that we exceed owner goals and expectations while striving to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Over the course of his career, Nate has developed an expertise within modular solutions, working to apply them across a multitude of product types.

He works to inform partners on how best to navigate the unique components within prefabricated strategies and deliver tailor-made solutions that maximize cost while mitigating risk.

His knowledge has helped numerous modular projects come to fruition, most recently the citizenM Hotel at South Lake Union and citizenM Menlo Park (currently under construction).

Nate obtained his Bachelor’s in Construction Management from Brigham Young University and is a LEED accredited professional.

Bec combines their vision for creating the world we know is possible with their background in sustainability, prefab, technology, construction, and development. Bec loves building teams to generate and operationalize creative solutions to move away from scarcity paradigms, fossil fuels, and the housing shortage; towards sustainability, abundance and love.

Originally from the northeast, Bec moved to the West Coast to learn how to build green buildings. Quickly Bec joined a custom modular prefab company engaging with the promise and opportunity of prefab building. Bec earned an MBA in Sustainable Systems from Bainbridge Graduate Institute (Presidio Graduate School). From there, Bec helped companies and leaders build stronger, more effective teams before joining Don Bunnell as a founder of NODE, a construction technology start-up creating software enabled prefab components for fast, sustainable, and cost effective house assembly.

Joanna Callahan. As Principal of Hess Callahan Grey Group (HCG), Joanna has been active in developing sustainable, award-winning commercial office projects in Seattle with a focus on Fremont and the North Lake Union submarket. With deep ties to Seattle, HCG Group has earned a reputation for delivering high quality, distinctive spaces for tenants who value sustainability, innovation, and one-of-a-kind designs. Her current project, Northlake Commons, will be the largest mass timber project in Seattle. Using Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), Northlake Commons is also the first mass timber project designed to accommodate life science space.

Jo’s experience includes legal and development roles over her 10+ years in the real estate business, earning her recognition by the Puget Sound Business Journal Commercial Real Estate Leadership Awards as 2019’s “Up and Coming Developer.” Her projects have been recognized with awards including, NAIOP WA Office Development of the Year, NAIOP WA Sustainable Development of the Year, and Architizer A+ Award. Jo holds a B.A. from Yale, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and a law degree from the University of Washington.

With more than seventeen years experience building homes in the greater Seattle area, Anthony is an advocate for sustainable design and Net Zero Energy construction. He continues to push the envelope in the built green community with innovative construction methods that have positively influenced city building practices. As a result of this commitment and effort, Anthony and Dwell have won numerous National, Regional and Local Sustainable and Design Awards. As a lifelong Seattleite, Anthony has a deep commitment to creating communities that bring together like-minded individuals who value sustainability and a modern reclaimed design.

Anthony has served as the Chair on the Board of the MBA’s Built Green Residential Building Program for the last five years. He serves on the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) Sustainability & Green Building Subcommittee.

He is a key member of the Columbia City Business Association and Georgetown Communities, and is sought after as a thought leader in the national and local sustainable communities to promote and share Dwell Development’s green agenda.

Patricia is a member of Cairncross & Hempelmann’s Litigation practice group. Her practice focuses primarily on complex commercial disputes, construction litigation, and employment law. She also does transactional work and has drafted, negotiated, and analyzed design and construction contracts for a vast array of construction projects. Patricia represents companies of all sizes and her clients include design firms, architects and engineers, contractors, owners, and consultants. Patricia manages all aspects of complex litigation, from multi-party discovery, expert and fact depositions, through hearings, trial and appeal. She takes the time to dig deep into the technical information of her cases, gathering a strong foundation of knowledge on which to base her legal position. Patricia’s clients also benefit from her ability to provide practical, actionable legal counsel relating to risk management and dispute resolution. This aspect of her practice has grown in the recent years and is directly informed by her litigation experience. Treating her client’s money like her own, Patricia is value driven and cost conscious when it comes to the strategic legal advice she provides. This mentality extends into her approach to each case, working to develop relationships with opposing counsel to maximize the outcomes for her clients through effective negotiation and cooperation across the table.

Born in 1961 in Darrington, Dan grew up exploring the Cascade

Mountains by fishing, hunting, hiking and trapping. Dan has

been a business owner since 1991 and currently owns and

operates a one-man saw mill specializing in custom lumber.

Rankin and his wife, Kelli Smith, an architect, raised their two

sons in a house they designed and built on the family’s tree

farm.

Rankin served on the Darrington Town Council for 8 years before

being elected Mayor. Since taking office in 2012, Mayor Rankin

has continuously worked to bring diversity into the local job

market in hopes of creating long term resilience throughout the

Stillaguamish and Sauk Valleys. Partnering with local, private,

state and federal partners, Rankin has been committed to

stabilizing the community and economy post SR 530 landslide.
