Kevin Daniels has over 30 years of real estate experience, including leasing, development and property management, and is the President of Nitze-Stagen & Co., Inc. and Daniels Real Estate, LLC. Nitze-Stagen focuses on the investment into and Daniels Real Estate the redevelopment of, landmarked structures and community redevelopment projects in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Daniels is recognized as a leading voice for historic preservation in his community and is nationally recognized on the issue of stimulating economic development through preservation efforts. Over the last few years his development team has received two National Preservation Awards and numerous local & state awards for their work. Recently he was named Seattle’s 2015 Downtown Champion and was the first recipient of the Urban Hero award from the International Sustainability Institute, and received the Washington State Special Achievement Award and the Judge’s Choice Award from the National Association of Office & Industrial Properties for his work to save the historic First United Methodist Church in Seattle. The American Institute of Architects has made him an honorary member in Seattle for his body of work.

Mr. Daniels’ current projects include the construction of a 43 story high-rise office tower in downtown Seattle as part of the preservation of the last historic sanctuary building within the central business district (culminating a nearly 25 year preservation court battle) and the largest transit oriented development in the Pacific Northwest- Stadium Place (culminating a 25 year planning effort). The firms’ current property investments and past development activity in Seattle include Starbucks Center (currently the largest, at 2.1 million square feet, and oldest LEED-EB Gold certified building in the country), Union Station corporate campus (a 1.1 million square foot office campus sitting on top of the regional light rail transit center) and Merrill Place (a full block mixed use in historic Pioneer Square).

Mr. Daniels serves on the Board of Trustees for the National Trust for Historic Preservation where he is vice-chair of the Audit Committees. He also serves on the Board of Regents for Gonzaga University and is co-chair of the Alliance for Pioneer Square. Mr. Daniels serves on the boards of the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation and Historic Seattle as board emeriti. Mr. Daniels is actively involved in Operation Comeback in New Orleans and has worked with AIA and AWB on seven trips to bring architects and other professionals to the lower Ninth Ward rebuilding effort. In addition he recently worked with the Jane Goodall Institute’s Shanghai office (Roots & Shoots program) to bring the EcoAudit program to the United States with the establishment of the first program office in Seattle. In collaboration with the Cool School Challenge this sustainability education program for youth is now spreading across the country. Finally, Mr. Daniels has assisted the National Trust in the creation of the Preservation Green Lab offices in Seattle.

Sandip heads the firm’s Real Estate group, as well as the Retail, Hotel & Restaurant industry team. He practices primarily in the area of commercial real estate transactions, including retail, office and industrial leasing, purchase and sale agreements and real estate financings. He represents technology, hospitality and retail clients in this area. Sandip also brings a substantial commercial litigation background to his practice. He has represented owners, developers, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in a wide variety of construction claims, including contractor’s liens, breach of contract, changes, errors/omissions, defects, warranty claims, and environmental liability claims. Further, he has experience in real estate litigation, including earnest money agreements, easements and landlord-tenant disputes. Sandip serves as outside real estate counsel to a number of companies, including Microsoft, Nordstrom, Blue Nile and zulily.

Ian is a real estate professional and serial entrepreneur with over 24 years of experience in real estate private equity, equity options trading and start-ups. Ian is Chief Investment Officer of Investments at CrowdStreet, overseeing its marketplace, an online commercial real estate investment platform that has completed nearly 409 offerings with $1.13 billion of capital invested. Ian is the author of “The Comprehensive Guide to Commercial Real Estate Investing” and he is a contributing author at Forbes.com.

Michael Homeier practices in the area of general business, corporate, transactional, and business financing law. With nearly 25 years' experience in the corporate and business transactional field, both as in-house corporate counsel and with private law firms, Michael's practice emphasizes the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts, including commercial contracts, financing agreements, factoring packages, intellectual property licensing agreements, new media, technology, and commercial contracts, and entertainment industry agreements for both production houses and industry professionals. An integral part of Michael's practice includes a comprehensive ""entity practice"" involved with the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporations and limited liability companies, both in the for-profit and non-profit sector.

Prior to his co-founding of Homeier & Law, P.C., Michael practiced business, contract, corporate, and securities law both as in-house counsel for large public companies (including Countrywide and Herbalife) and private enterprises, and in association or as of-counsel to prominent Los Angeles law firms such as Ball Hunt Hart Brown & Baerwitz (now part of Carlsmith Ball) and Wasserman Comden & Casselman. In the past, Michael has also garnered invaluable experience on the opposite end of the ""size spectrum,"" working with a sole practitioner in a combined business and civil litigation practice assisting small- and medium-sized clients, where Michael authored and then argued two published, precedent-setting appeals cases, Matthews v. Regents of the University of California (34 Cal. App. 4th 598) concerning workplace sexual harassment, and Jenkins v. Inglewood Unified School District (34 Cal. App. 4th 1388) regarding breach of a school district employment contract.

In addition to numerous engagements as a university law professor, Michael also actively participates in public speaking engagements, both in the business financing and business law arenas, and as an inspirational speaker to teenaged and young adult cancer survivors on post-treatment life success.

Michael received his J.D. from University of Southern California and his B.A. from The University of California, Los Angeles. Michael is a member of the State Bar of California.

Bill is the co-founder and Managing Principal of Talon Private Capital (Talon), LLC. Talon is a

Seattle based, 25-person, private equity company focused on commercial real estate investments

on the West Coast. Talon has current total investments exceeding $500,000,000.

Prior to co-founding Talon in late 2009, Bill was a Principal and co-founder of Pacific Real

Estate Partners, Inc., (PREP) a regional commercial real estate brokerage. Over his 17 years at

PREP, he was instrumental in growing the company to market dominance in the Pacific

Northwest and exclusively represented national and regional tenants.

Bill is the 2017-2018 Chairman of Urban Land Institute Northwest Chapter and currently serves

on the board of the University of Washington Runstad Center of Real Estate Studies. He has held

numerous leadership positions in civic, charitable and industry groups, including past Chair of

SIOR, NAIOP, Bellevue Schools Foundation, and many more.

Bill has been married for 30 years to his college sweetheart and has two adult children.

Mr. McGovern has over 20 years of finance and real estate experience involving high rise commercial development and real estate private equity. While at Security Properties he has syndicated or raised real estate debt and equity funds from high net worth investors, institutions and family offices that contributed to the capitalization of over $1 Billion of multifamily real estate. His career has involved both investment and disposition roles in office, hotel, retail and multifamily real estate for both ground up development and acquisition rehab projects. Prior to joining Security Properties in 2009, Mr. McGovern held real estate development and investment roles with Schnitzer Northwest and Bentall Kennedy, as well positions in investment banking. He has been responsible for the development and leasing of over two million square feet of commercial real estate in the Pacific Northwest. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in History from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MBA from Columbia University and a Certificate in Construction Management from the University of Washington. He currently serves as a Board Member and Adjunct Professor for the University of Washington Runstad Master Science in Real Estate program. He was recently selected to the Corporate Board of Directors for NAIOP.
