Why You Should Attend This Event

Why This Matters:

Savannah’s real estate market is at a pivotal moment, as the region continues to see heightened demand as a result of Port, migration, and economic growth. Residential fundamentals indicate heightened new construction pipelines, but stronger absorption than is being seen in many other Southeastern markets, as well as average area performance in recent years. Given these dynamics, and an initial easing in the capital markets environment from scattered interest rate cuts,  there are positive signs for opportunities in both acquisitions and project starts. Meanwhile, area growth is presenting opportunities for developers and investors across mixed-use assets, historic preservation and in-demand product to enhance Savannah's unique character.  Savannah remains one of the East Coast's premier port markets for industrial demand and investor interest. As the market absorbs the effects of a shifting trade environment, the region's long-term fundamentals have demonstrated resilience, keeping site selection, capacity and future development opportunity moving forward despite headwinds.

This event will explore where the market stands today, and what’s next for both residential, industrial, and broader development activity across Coastal Georgia. Join Bisnow, and assembled panelists, to hear what is in store locally to best tap into activity in the region.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How are shifts in renter demographics, capital access, and new supply shaping residential acquisitions, underwriting, and project starts?

  • Which strategies are developers and owners using to accelerate lease-up, and differentiate properties as the broader market continues to stabilize existing inventory?

  • How mixed-use and historic preservation projects are creating in-demand product while elevating the region's existing character?

  • How is the building community best navigating municipal requirements to expedite project approvals?

  • What practical approaches to adaptive reuse and historic preservation are maintaining authenticity while achieving financial feasibility?

  • How is Savannah's industrial market demonstrating resilience around the shifting trade environment as demand patterns evolve?

  • What does the project pipeline look like for industrial development across Coastal Georgia, and how are site selection, land constraints and future capacity influencing strategy?
