Marcus joined Lane Partners in 2011 and is responsible for asset management and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Lane Partners, Marcus was an Associate in the Global Markets Group for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York, NY. During his time at the bank, Marcus worked on the institutional equity trading desk, serving as a conduit between institutional hedge fund and asset management clients and the bank’s position traders.

From 2003 to 2008 Marcus worked for SCO Advisors, Inc., a strategic advisory and full-service real estate brokerage firm in Los Angeles, CA. He specialized in industrial assets, sourcing, selling, and leasing real estate for institutional and private investors. In 2007, Marcus and his partner were responsible for closing the largest sales transactions in the South Bay and LAX industrial submarkets.

Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, where he was a member of the Men’s Volleyball Team and served as the Team Captain in 2003. He also obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Nanci Klein

Nanci Klein is responsible for cultivating and maintaining significant relationships with the world’s top global companies that have a presence in San Jose.

She’s steered some of city’s most complex economic development projects and negotiations, such as the retention and expansion of eBay, NanoSolar, Cisco, SunPower and Hitachi.

Mark Bodie joined JLL in 2013 to establish and lead the Silicon

Valley Agency Leasing practice. Mark leads a diverse team of

professionals serving an impressive roster of local and

institutional clients and a dynamic mix of projects across the

Silicon Valley and the Peninsula. During his time at JLL, Mark has

successfully executed transactions in excess of 3M square feet

with total consideration of $500M.

Experience:

Prior to establishing JLL’s Agency Leasing practice in the Silicon

Valley, Mark spearheaded the Northern California leasing effort for

LBA Realty's 10M square foot portfolio of institutional quality

office, industrial and R&D product. During his five year tenure at

LBA Realty, Mark executed leases totaling nearly 2M square feet in

the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and the North & East Bay.

Previously, Mark served as an asset manager at Prudential Real

Estate Investors, with primary oversight over a 2.8M square foot

portfolio across various west coast markets for the flagship PRISA

fund. Earlier, Mark oversaw market research and economic

forecasting at RREEF, with particular focus on the Silicon Valley,

Peninsula and San Francisco markets.

Education and Affiliations:

Mark graduated from the University of San Diego where he earned

a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. Mark is a member

and past committee member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI)

and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties

(NAIOP). In addition, Mark is a committee member and program

chair of the Bay Area Real Estate Roundtable, an event that

benefits the Foundation for Autistic Childhood Education and

Support (FACES). Mark is also a volunteer for the Boys and Girls

Club of San Francisco and The First Tee of San Francisco.

Brian Glick

With over 17 years of experience, Brian Glick is a valued member of the HMH team in

San Jose providing Landscape Architectural, Land Use Entitlement, Civil Engineering

and Land Surveying services. He currently is employed as a Division Manager in their

Landscape Architecture Studio that he helped start back in 2004. Brian has a diverse

skill set and is focused on managing a team of professionals providing high quality

landscape design and technical drawings for a multitude of project types throughout the

bay area. Being part of a multidisciplinary company has allowed Brian to become well

versed in land development collaboration and he often takes the lead on project

management and problem-solving efforts. He strongly believes that well trained

landscape architects make great project managers and community leaders. Brian also

leads many of HMH’s business development campaigns which combines his passion for

quality project design with the highest level of client satisfaction.

Brian also stays active in the community as a Mentor and Team Leader for The ACE

Mentor Program of San Jose.

A San Jose native, Ralph began his career in local commercial and industrial real estate by following in the footsteps of his father, Nelo, who founded N. G. Borelli Realtor in 1955. Ralph joined the firm in 1973 at age 19, when he obtained his first real estate license while still in college. He continued to work part-time until graduation and then entered the field full-time—becoming president of the company when his father retired in 1977.

Ralph soon began expanding the firm’s capabilities—from brokerage, development, and management of residential, retail, and industrial properties to the broad range of services it offers today. In 1979, Ralph directed the formation of Borelli Investment Company’s first syndicated partnership to acquire multi-tenant industrial and office properties. In its history, Borelli Investment Company has formed over 35 partnerships with a portfolio of more than four million square feet, valued at over $600 million in property management accounts. Currently Borelli has 11 partnerships operating a total of nearly 1,000,000 sq. ft. that is valued at over $250 million.

In addition to providing overall direction for the company, Ralph has negotiated several joint ventures on various industrial and office developments. He has also sold in excess of 2,000 acres of land, 150 buildings, and negotiated more than 4,000 leases.

Ralph received his degree in real estate from San Jose State University in 1976. In addition, Ralph has worked with numerous industry groups and earned many distinctions within his profession.

Josh Burroughs

Josh Burroughs is a real estate development leader,

and strategist in Silicon Valley. He supervises and

directs all aspects of land acquisitions, entitlements,

forward planning, and land development including

project underwriting, design, construction,

relationship management, partnership / joint venture

formations, debt and equity placement, management

of consultants, and project / asset disposition. In

addition to development roles, Josh oversees marketing for SWENSON and

manages the company’s public relations and advertising agency.

Josh is an advisor to ABC Silicon Valley – the 25th largest accelerator in the world,

board of directors of the Rotary Club of San Jose, Bellarmine College Preparatory

Alumni Council, Silicon Valley board of Urban Land Institute, board of directors

of the San Jose Downtown Association, St James Park advisory board, Levitt

Pavilion San Jose steering committee and is chair of the Silicon Valley Chapter of

the Wheelchair Foundation.

Casey Wright, Principal at The Rincon Group, specializes in originating commercial loans for multifamily, retail, industrial, office, and NNN properties. He has closed over $100 million in commercial loans in the past 24 months. He is an expert in placing loans with life insurance companies, banks, credit unions, Wall Street conduits, and private lenders. Before joining The Rincon Group, Casey was ranked as one of top brokers at his previous firm. With over 10 years of real estate and brokerage experience, he is able to consistently deliver competitive terms for his clients. Casey is currently an active member of the Bay Area Mortgage Association (BAMA), California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA), and Los Angeles Mortgage Association (LAMA). He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Chico.

Alan Walker

Alan is a Senior Vice President & Portfolio Director with EQ Office (formerly Equity Office), a U.S. office company wholly owned by Blackstone’s real estate funds. As the leader for the Northern California region, Alan oversees acquisitions, asset management (including major repositionings and strategic planning), and dispositions for the 4 million sf portfolio and since joining 18 months ago he has overseen nearly $2 billion of transactions. EQ’s national office portfolio encompasses over 45 million sf and he is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with EQ’s executive leadership team and Blackstone.

Prior to EQ, Alan was a Vice President with Swift Real Estate Partners in San Francisco. Swift was founded in 2010 and as an early partner, Alan was a member of the Investment and Finance Committees. Including additional prior experience, Alan’s real estate track record includes ~$6.0 billion in real estate specific transactions and projects over the course of his nearly 20-year career in real estate and institutional investment management.

A native of New England, Alan holds a degree in International Trade from Brown University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He is a ULI Council Member, Fisher Center Policy Advisory Board Member, and a member of The Guardsmen.

Alan lives with his family in the East Bay and enjoys masters swimming.
