Derek K. Hunter, Jr. (Deke) is the President of Hunter Properties, Inc. and Managing Member of Hunter/Storm, LLC. Hunter Properties is a 50-year old development and management company currently with 17 different assets, totaling 2,100,000 square feet. The family-oriented company developed well in excess of 4,500,000 square feet during its history. Mr. Hunter is involved with all new project developments, property management, leasing, and Bay Area Self Storage oversight.

Mr. Hunter is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, Self Storage Association and the Policy Advisory Committee for Fisher Center of Real Estate & Urban Economics. Mr. Hunter is a member of the Northern California Chapter of the National Resource Defense Council. The Hunter Family is an active supporter of Summer Search, Santa Clara and the Boys and Girls Club in Menlo Park.

Mr. Hunter resides in Portola Valley with his wife and three children. Mr. Hunter is active in community affairs, such as the Portola Valley School Foundation and Town Center Library redevelopment. Mr. Hunter is a seasoned tri-athlete and has coached both National Junior Basketball and baseball. He is a graduate of the University of the Pacific with a degree in Business and Public Administration, concentrating in real estate finance.

Mollie is a Partner of Dostart Development Company (“DDC”), one of the Silicon

Valley’s premier commercial real estate developers known for its local expertise, for

its leadership in sustainability and transit-oriented design, and for the high quality of

its projects and tenants. During the past decade with DDC, Mollie has actively

managed nearly 1 million square feet of commercial office development and

investment in Silicon Valley. Her responsibilities include leading acquisitions,

managing city entitlements, directing leasing, construction, financing and asset

management.

Prior to joining DDC, Mollie was an investor with Francisco Partners, L.P., a

technology-focused private equity firm with $5.0 billion under management, where

she was involved in identifying, executing and managing investments across a variety

of sectors. Earlier in her career, Mollie worked in the Investment Banking Division of

Goldman Sachs.

Mollie is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the national

ULI Industrial and Office Product Council as well as on the San Francisco Commercial

Local Product Council. She is also a member of NAIOP – Silicon Valley and Stanford

Professionals in Real Estate (SPIRE). Mollie also serves as treasurer on the Board of

Directors of The Representation Project.

Mollie received her M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and her B.A.

in Economics and Latin American Studies, with Distinction, from Yale University.

A native of Silicon Valley, Mark Calvano started his real estate career at Marcus and Millichap in 1986. Over the last 35 years, Calvano has been involved in the sale, leasing, and development of projects totaling over 1.8 million square feet of office, retail, and R&D projects valued at over one billion dollars.

Mark Calvano graduated from S.F.S.U. with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Calvano serves as a member of the Silicon Valley branch of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and is a member of Bay Area Council.

Rick Szcodronski aids in the design of building technology systems such as structured cabling, audio visual, security, building automation, and data centers. He also assists with technology consulting services for data network, wireless network, voice system, and migration planning design. His responsibilities include project management, MEP coordination, and maintaining the accuracy / quality of designs from inception to completion.

A Boston College graduate with a master's degree from Georgetown and former positions at Gensler and DEGW, Albert joined Unispace in late 2015 based in our San Francisco studio. He specializes in design strategy, workplace strategy, and change management.

"I look to how the business needs to work, and then determine how we can develop an architectural kit of parts that will encourage the kinds of work behaviors that will achieve organizational and business success," explains Albert. "I'm not a traditional designer, I'm an organizational designer – but I wanted to pursue this career path with the intent to bring design thinking to solve business problems."
