Chase Lyman

As director in charge of our commercial portfolio, Mr. Lyman serves as the chief liaison between our tenants and the brokerage community. He negotiates all contractual agreements between The Sobrato Organization and its tenants, and manages the listing and marketing of all our commercial properties. Mr. Lyman is also responsible for the renovation and rehabilitation of our company’s commercial buildings and market-ready projects, acquisition and disposition of commercial property, and participating in the planning and execution of development projects. For seven years prior to joining Sobrato, Mr. Lyman was a member of Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank’s Palo Alto office, where he specialized in Office/R&D leasing from Redwood City to Sunnyvale, and represented several major tenants in the area. Raised in Los Altos, Mr. Lyman has a strong knowledge of the Peninsula market. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in American Studies with an emphasis in Urban Land Development from University of California at Berkeley.

Newmark Cornish & Carey Vice Chairman Phil Mahoney is one of the most successful commercial real estate brokers in Northern California. He brings to his clients a unique understanding, perspective and awareness of the successful technology markets serving the Silicon Valley, and has for more than 35 years.

In 1992, Mr. Mahoney was appointed senior vice president and manager of Newmark Cornish & Carey’s Santa Clara office. He left his managerial post in the fall of 1995 to become a partner and director. He currently helps lead its Corporate and Institutional Services Group.

Mr. Mahoney has been among Newmark Cornish & Carey’s top five producers since 1982. He has negotiated over 1,100 transactions totaling more than 80 million square feet of space valued at over $19.0 billion.

Clients have relied heavily upon Mr. Mahoney’s expertise and comprehensive understanding not only of the marketplace, but also of the real estate process as a whole. In addition to his successes in the leasing market, Mr. Mahoney has sold numerous buildings, and has been involved in some of the most significant purchases of commercial/industrial property in the history of Silicon Valley.

Tenacious and dedicated, Mr. Mahoney counts among his clients Fortune 500 firms seeking to expand, as well as start-up companies looking for their first facility.

Matt Lituchy joined Jay Paul Company in 2000 as Chief Investment Officer. In this capacity, he oversees acquisitions, dispositions and new business opportunities as well as all capital and financing activities for the company. In his tenure Matt has raised over $3 billion in project financing and acquired in excess of $1 billion of commercial real estate for investment or redevelopment.

Ms. Bryant joined Sares Regis Group in 1993 with responsibility for the Bay Area commercial property portfolio. She oversees Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and MIS activities for the company and closely monitors the performance of all active development and operating projects.

Jeff Cushman

Jeff Cushman was most recently the Executive Managing Director (2012-2015), Managing Broker for Cushman & Wakefield Silicon Valley and the Peninsula in Northern California. Mr. Cushman has over 19 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has lived and worked in the Bay Area for over 14 years and attended Santa Clara University for his undergraduate and law school education. Jeff is a tenant representation and landlord agency specialist. He splits his time between executing sizeable, complex tenant representation assignments for multinational corporations (e.g., Dell, Gilead Sciences, Wells Fargo, Kimberly-Clark, and Marsh & McLennan) throughout the Bay Area and the world, and providing local office agency expertise in Silicon Valley. Jeff was the recipient of the 2015 Deal of the Year award for the 285,000 square foot Apple lease, and he was among the Top 50 U.S. Office Brokers at Cushman & Wakefield in 2015.

Over the course of his career, Jeff has personally been involved in the leasing of over 20 million square feet of office space.

John Dooling

Mr. Dooling is a shareholder and chairs the RMKB Real Estate/Construction Practice Group. His

practice consists of general trial work and outside general counsel work for business entities,

individuals and insured’s. His trial practice includes experience in construction and construction

defect litigation, professional liability (architects & engineers, attorneys, and real estate and

insurance brokers), real estate, commercial disputes and general liability matters in the California

State Courts and the Northern District of California.

Mr. Dooling also represents and advises privately held and publicly traded companies in the

capacity as outside general counsel; which includes the representation of general contractors,

sub-contractors, engineering and construction management firms, real estate brokers and

developers and a local community bank. The representation includes all aspects of the clients

business, including, but not limited to, risk management, contract drafting and review, licensing,

employment agreements and handling litigation matters.

Mr. Dooling is a native San Franciscan who earned his undergraduate degree from the University

of San Francisco, where he was the recipient of a four-year Harney Foundation Scholarship. While

at USF, John earned varsity letters in baseball, golf and crew. Subsequent to his graduation from

USF, John obtained a Real Estate Broker’s License and represented sellers and buyers in real

estate transactions for Merrill Lynch Real Estate. He also owned and operated a popular sports

restaurant and bar in San Francisco from 1990 to 1996. During this time John attended evening

law school and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence and was admitted to practice in 1991.

Outside the firm, John lives in Burlingame with his wife Eileen (a Jersey girl), their daughter

Elizabeth (Lily), and their dogs, Bogey and Skipper. He is an avid Giants (ex-bat boy) and 49ers'

(ex-ball boy) fan and enjoys the occasional round of golf.

John previously served as a Director and Officer (Vice President) for The Olympic Club and

currently serves as a Director (Vice Chair) for the Pomeroy Recreation and Rehabilitation Center

in San Francisco and The Jesuit Retreat Center of Los Altos. He is a member of the Sovereign

Military Order of Malta, and past director of several non-profit organizations; including the

Hibernian Newman Club, University of San Francisco Inn of Court, and the San Mateo Legal Aid

Society. John also volunteers at St. Anne’s Home in San Francisco and the Maple Street Shelter

in Redwood City.
