Zaid is currently GM in Microsoft’s Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering where he leads systems engineering and hardware development for Azure including AI systems and infrastructure. Zaid is part of the technical leadership team across Microsoft that sets AI hardware strategy for training and inference. Zaid's teams are also responsible for software and hardware engineering efforts developing specialized compute systems, FPGA network products and ASIC hardware accelerators.

Prior to Microsoft Zaid was head of infrastructure at LinkedIn where he was responsible for all aspects of architecture and engineering for Datacenters, Networking, Compute, Storage and Hardware. Zaid also led several software development teams focusing on building and managing infrastructure as code. This included zero touch provisioning, software-defined networking, network operating systems (SONiC, OpenSwitch), self-healing networks, backbone controller, software defined storage and distributed host-based firewalls. The network teams Zaid led built the global network for LinkedIn, including POP's, peering for edge services, IPv6 implementation, DWDM infrastructure and datacenter network fabric. The hardware and datacenter engineering teams Zaid led were responsible for water cooling to the racks, optical fiber infrastructure and open hardware development which was contributed to the Open Compute Project Foundation (OCP).

Zaid holds several patents in networking and, is a sought-after keynote speaker at top tier conferences and events. Zaid is currently the chairperson for the OCP Foundation Board. He is also currently on the EECS External Advisory Board (EAB) at UC Berkeley and a board member of Internet Ecosystem Innovation Committee (IEIC), a global Internet think tank promoting Internet diversity. Rich Reyher is a Director, Global Data Center Services for PayPal Inc., the world's leading global payments platform. After serving several years first in the U.S. Army military police and then as a federal officer in the U.S. Department of Justice, Rich started as a systems engineer for Aether Systems, a wireless web communications developer, where he managed operations of their flagship data center in Phoenix as Chief Engineer until the site was sold in 2003.

Rich began his career on the eBay team as Chief Engineer, overseeing construction and maintenance of eBay's first, and largest Tier IV data center at the time. Promoted to Director in 2015, Rich led the expansion of the Phoenix region into the largest portfolio within Global Data Center Services. He championed operational excellence, drove efficiencies and implemented industry best practices, with a proven up-time record of 99.999%. Rich recently moved to PayPal with the primary responsibility to run day to day critical infrastructure operations and decide strategy for all data centers globally for PayPal. Rich is an active member of the Uptime Institute and Data Center Pulse.

Joe spent over 20 years in various process and factory related engineering roles at Intel concluding with the start-up of a new wafer fab in China. More recently Joe has been leading the design and construction of Intel’s Santa Clara D2 Data Center which will result in over 50 MW of compute capacity with world class PUE and server density.

A 30-year veteran of the telecommunications and IT infrastructure industry, Nancy has spent her career building and growing IT service-focused organizations. Currently, Nancy serves on several boards and is a managing partner at Rallyday Partners, a private investment firm focused on mid-market growth companies. She is also Chair of the Board of Directors for Flexential.

Nancy was co-founder and chief executive officer of ViaWest for 17 years, a leading provider of colocation, cloud and managed IT solutions. Previously Nancy served as president of Shaw Business Infrastructure Services, a division of Shaw Communications (NYSE:SJR). Nancy held founder and executive leadership positions with numerous technology companies, including TSC, ConferTech International, ITC, RMI.net and Intrepid Communications, where she enabled significant growth while maintaining a deep customer-centric focus.

Adam Levine has 16 years of experience at the highest levels in the domain of IT hosting.

He began his career in the real estate sector with HRO before specialising in the IT hosting sector with such major industry groups as CBRE.

As Chief Financial Officer, Sharif brings more than two decades of experience in the investment banking industry to his role at Vantage, where he will be responsible for driving strategic financing solutions for organic growth and market expansion. For most of his career, Sharif has executed debt and equity financings and M&A transactions with a particular focus on clients in the data center and communications sector. He most recently served as a Managing Director at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and prior to that as a Director at Wells Fargo Securities. Chris Crosby is a recognized visionary and leader in the datacenter space and has served as founder and CEO of Compass Datacenters since 2011. Chris has over 25 years of technology experience and over 15 years of real estate and investment experience. Previously, Chris served as a senior executive and founding member of Digital Realty Trust. Chris was Senior Vice President at Digital Realty Trust, responsible for roles included global responsibility for corporate development, sales, marketing, design, construction, technical operations and customer service. Prior to the initial public offering of Digital Realty, Chris was founder and managing director of Proferian, which served as an operating platform for the private equity fund, GI Partners, and was rolled into the IPO for Digital Realty Trust. Prior to Proferian, Chris served as a consultant for CRG West, now Coresite. For the first ten years of his career, Chris was active in international and domestic sales, sales management and product development at Nortel Networks, a major supplier of products and services that support the Internet and other public and private data, voice and multimedia communications networks. Jason C. Reed brings more than 20 years of real estate experience in complex global real estate transactions, law and management to Carter Validus. As Chief Acquisitions Officer and Senior Vice President, Data Center Investment Management, Mr. Reed provides the strategic vision to turn business goals into actionable plans with appropriate risk management. As acting Principal of Longview Real Estate Advisors, a full service advisory firm to the data center and telecommunications industry with a focus on mission critical real estate assets, he was responsible for the firm’s acquisitions, leasing and management strategy. Formerly the Senior Vice President, Global Real Estate at Equinix, Inc., Mr. Reed was accountable directly to the Chief Development Officer and Real Estate Committee of the Board of Directors for the allocation and investment of $2 billion annually across 22 countries and 44 metropolitan areas. Notably while at Equinix, Mr. Reed successfully implemented a global real estate administration program with coordination across several stakeholder groups including the regional Presidents, Tax, SEC accounting and Audit.

Prior to Equinix, Mr. Reed served in various roles at Level 3 Communications, most recently as Vice President, Global Real Estate and Facilities, where he was responsible for the strategic planning, investment and management of 23 million square feet of global real estate consisting of over 10,000 properties across North America, EMEA, and Latin America.

Mr. Reed received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, followed by earning his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Denver.

Andrew is a data center, IT, private equity and real estate executive with over 20 years of complex transactional experience and multi-disciplinary senior leadership. Prior to joining Aligned, Andrew held numerous leadership positions over an 11-year period with Digital Realty Trust (NYSE: DLR). He also oversaw all major international transactions, including the successful negotiation and execution of projects in Osaka, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney. Prior to Digital Realty Trust, Andrew held leadership roles at Sterling Network Services and Sysix Technologies.

Andrew is the Founder and Board Member of DC Delta, an advisory council comprised of global data center end-users and innovators, connectivity providers and sustainability thought-leaders focused on improving data center efficiency and sustainability. He also sits on the Infrastructure Masons Advisory Council, an organization that provides infrastructure executives and technical professionals an independent forum to connect, grow and give back. Additionally, Andrew serves as a mentor for Great Minds in STEM, an association dedicated to keeping America technologically strong by promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math careers, especially in underserved communities.

He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from Cornerstone University, in addition to completing graduate programs in Executive Negotiations and Management Training at Harvard University.

Clint Heiden joined QTS in 2018 to lead the company’s Hybrid Colocation Sales and Marketing organization. Clint has more than 26 years of sales leadership experience in the data center, telecommunications and internet technology industries.

Prior to joining QTS, Clint served as Chief Commercial Officer for five years at another data center company where he helped sell and deliver more than 80 megawatts of critical capacity to customers. He also previously served as President of Sidera Networks and held senior leadership roles at PAETEC, Cable & Wireless America and UUNET. In these roles, Clint led organizations responsible for over one billion dollars of annual enterprise revenue while at the same time generating significant organic revenue growth.

Clint received his BBA in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University, where he continues to sit on the Board. Clint lives in McLean, Virginia with his wife and four children.

Prior to joining Telx, Mr. Raymond was a founder of Stratus Services Group, Inc., an engineering and staffing services company, and served as its General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. During his tenure, he guided Stratus through multiple private capital raises, the acquisition of over a dozen businesses, and in April 2000, the Initial Public Offering of the company’s stock on NASDAQ. Steven Lim is Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product at RagingWire Data Centers, responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s Product Management and Marketing teams.

Over his career, Steven has led marketing teams to generate significant revenue growth and enterprise value. He has built corporate brands, shaped the customer experience, and structured unique go-to-market solutions.

Prior to joining RagingWire, Steven served as a Customer Marketing Leader at LinkedIn and Vice President/Head of Marketing at Vantage Data Centers, where he was part of a senior executive team that increased the company’s valuation five-fold. Previously, Steven had management responsibilities at Equinix, McAfee and Cisco.

Mr. Lim earned an MBA from the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

With more than 25 years of experience in mission critical construction and design, Lane Anderson has an extensive background in MEP projects and design and construction leadership. Having delivered over 3.5 million square feet of data center projects, Lane is well versed in designing for efficiency to pursue low PUE facilities and has strong expertise in building design and construction teams.

At QTS, he is responsible for Corporate Development, Construction, Design and Strategy, as well as Strategic Procurement.

An accomplished executive, Lindsey brings together expertise in project development for both data centers and renewable energy. Lindsey led the advancement of several hundred megawatts of data center pipelines across the US and Europe, and her renewable energy development experience extends to the US, Canada and parts of South America.

Prior to joining CleanArc, Lindsey served as Vice President of Project Development at CyrusOne, a leading global data center developer and operator specializing in delivering state-of-the-art digital infrastructure solutions across the globe. At CyrusOne, she led the global Project Development team and was responsible for the strategy, execution, and delivery of the company’s organic data center development projects. Prior to this role, Lindsey served as CyrusOne’s Senior Corporate Counsel of Real Estate & Construction, working alongside the company’s U.S. and global site selection and construction teams in all aspects of site selection and development. Previously, Lindsey served as Senior Attorney for the Americas division of RES Group, the world’s largest independent renewable energy company, where she represented the organization in various matters related to the development and construction of utility scale renewable energy projects. Lindsey began her career as an attorney in private practice focused on commercial and industrial real estate.

Lindsey holds an AB in English from Duke University, a JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.

Maile Kaiser is CoreSite’s Senior Vice President of Sales. She is responsible for overseeing revenue growth, managing daily operations for CoreSite’s national sales organization and contributing to strategic planning. Maile joined CoreSite in 2012 and prior to this role was the Vice President of Sales for the Southwest and Central Regions as well as Strategic Content Accounts. Madonna Park has over 20 years of experience as an investment banker and equity research analyst. As Global Head of RBC’s Data Infrastructure coverage group, Madonna is responsible for providing companies in the data center/hosting and fiber sectors with comprehensive financial advisory services, including merger and acquisition, leveraged buyout, recapitalization, refinancing, equity and debt underwriting and corporate finance solutions. Madonna has led a number of marquee M&A and capital markets transactions across North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining RBC, Madonna was a principal at a boutique investment bank. Prior to that, Madonna was a research analyst at Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan and TD Securities focused on covering large cap media and Internet companies. Robert Covington is a Partner of RedBird Capital Partners, where he is responsible for RedBird’s Business & Financial Services, Communications Infrastructure and Technology related investment activity out of its Dallas office.

Mr. Covington led RedBird’s investments in Lifeline Capital Management, an asset manager specializing in purchasing of whole-life insurance policies; N3, an outsourced sales and marketing company focused on cloud services; Majority Strategies, a political advertising and marketing business driving constituent influence via direct mail, mobile marketing and other forms of media; and Compass Datacenters, a leading wholesale data center developer, specializing in customized build-to-order solutions for enterprise, cloud computing and service provider customers.

Mr. Covington has over 15 years of experience assisting entrepreneurs and families build their business with a specific focus in the Southern U.S. region. Prior to joining RedBird, Mr. Covington spent six years as a Managing Director of The Stephens Group, LLC, a private equity firm investing the capital of the Stephens family, one of America’s longest tenured private equity investors whose business activities began in 1933.

Prior to joining The Stephens Group, Mr. Covington was a General Partner at SSM Partners, a private equity firm focused on expansion stage technology, business services and consumer services companies. Prior to SSM, Mr. Covington was the Founder and CEO of Firstdoor, now part of Infor, where he built and directed a seventy-person organization that was one of the earliest “Software as a Service” business models.

Michael J. Sweeney is a Vice President with Avison Young’s Philadelphia office after joining the firm in March of 2018 after being a Director with Cushman and Wakefield. With over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, Michael’s experience includes lease negotiations, tenant relocation/renewals, and implementation of “C-level” multi-state strategic real estate planning. His focus is on the Suburban Philadelphia market, where he has successfully represented over 3,000,000 SF of office and high-finish flex transactions during his previous tenures. Additionally, Michael led the leasing operations for Pennsylvania Business Campus (Horsham, PA) from 2013-2017, where he was responsible for a 40-building portfolio spanning across 2.4 million square feet containing over 150 tenants.

Emily Naughton focuses her practice on transactions in the telecommunications, media and technology space, with an emphasis on cloud computing.  Emily has represented clients in connection with real estate acquisitions, development projects and leases, mergers and acquisitions involving cloud service providers, and telecommunications network infrastructure deals.  Emily has represented some of the world’s largest content providers globally in connection with network procurement and colocation and data center leases involving providers ranging from multinational companies to single facility operators. Emily has experience representing property owners in the acquisition, financing and development of real estate; landlords and tenants in a variety of short- and long-term leases and subleases; and developers on complex land use and permitting matters. John Sheputis is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Primary Digital Infrastructure, an independent data center investment platform. From 2019 through 2023, John was a Managing Director at GI Partners where he led the technology real estate acquisitions and headed the Essential Tech + Science Real Estate Fund. Prior to GI Partners, Mr. Sheputis was President of Infomart Data Centers. In 2018, the Dallas Infomart was acquired by Equinix and the remaining Infomart assets and operations were acquired by IPI Partners to be the initial properties for STACK Infrastructure. Prior to Infomart, Mr. Sheputis was Co-Founder and CEO of Fortune Data Centers. Mr. Sheputis received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA and an MS Engineering from Northwestern.

Greg Carender is the Vice President of Global Deployment for EdgeConneX, one of the largest privately-owned data center developer/operators headquartered in the United States. Greg joined EdgeConneX in 2016 where he leads the company’s PMO and efforts to analyze, permit, develop, and deploy new data centers around the globe. Prior to joining EdgeConneX, Greg was a Director in PwC’s Capital Projects & Infrastructure practice where he worked on major initiatives for some of the world’s largest broadband and wireless carriers. Greg has over 20 years of experience leading operations and capital projects. He got his start in the data center industry back in the late 90s while building long haul fiber networks. Greg is a Purdue University graduate, has an MBA, and has completed post graduate course work at Stanford, Cornell, and Robert Gordon University. Greg holds several industry certifications and has served on Georgia Tech’s School of Building Construction Advisory Board for the past 5 years. He has also served on the American Institute of Constructors National Board of Directors for the past 7 years, where is the outgoing National President.

David Dunn is COO of H5 Data Centers. Mr. Dunn has nearly 15 years of experience managing significant growth and delivering outsized returns on investment in the Internet infrastructure space. Mr. Dunn most recently served as vice president at the Zayo Group where he was responsible for managing the wavelength and mobile infrastructure business units. Prior to Zayo, Mr. Dunn was senior vice president at CoreSite where he held leadership roles in mergers & acquisitions, leasing, marketing and strategy. Arman Khalili is the Founder and CEO of Foundation Data Center and is a Board Member of Evocative and brings with him over 25 years of experience in Internet Infrastructure industry.

Prior to joining the company, Arman served as a Principal at Industry Capital a real assets based private equity firm in San Francisco. He was the founder and CEO of CentralColo also known as Element Critical. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Black Lotus, a leader in DDoS mitigation company, which was acquired by Level 3, and was the Founder/CEO of UnitedLayer, the largest privately held colocation provider in San Francisco. He was the founder of Sirius – one of the first ISPs in Silicon Valley, as well as the Co-founder and CTO of MusicBank, the first music subscription company. He has held numerous senior consulting positions at Level3, AT&T and Apple Computers.

Jeff Moerdler is chair of the Haynes Boone Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice and a real estate partner in the New York office. He has more than 40 years’ experience in general commercial real estate law. Jeff’s real estate practice includes acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, and borrower’s side financing. Jeff also has a particular focus on real estate challenges facing communications, technology and energy companies, and represents property owners and telecom companies in telecom real estate matters, particularly in data center development, acquisitions, sales, leases, colocation agreements and service level agreements. His clients include both large national companies and smaller, local clients, and includes representation of landlords and tenants in all types of leases; counseling owners and developers in the acquisition, sale, joint venture, development, and renovation of property as well as sale-leaseback transactions; advising lenders and borrowers in commercial loans; and the representation of all parties in real estate litigation. He is actively involved in settling real estate, partnership, and inter-family disputes. He also represents many not-for-profit entities and is active in health care, senior living, and educational real estate.

During the past 35 years, Jeff has developed considerable experience in the intersection of real estate with communications, technology, and energy issues. He has extensive experience representing landlords, tenants, developers, and communications service providers in the leasing, purchase, sale, and financing of data centers, colocation facilities, radio and television broadcast antennas, distributed and in-building wireless systems, rooftop antennas, and fiber-optic transactions as well as the wiring of buildings for broadband communications access. Jeff has also negotiated thousands of data center leases, master services agreements, colocation agreements and service level agreements, rooftop and cellular antenna leases, inside wiring agreements, and antenna tower leases throughout the country – covering over 500 million square feet.

He has also devoted a considerable portion of his practice to power and energy issues related to real estate and other technology matters, including large solar and wind installations, battery storage facilities, and bulk power purchases.

Jeff is a frequent speaker on real estate, data center, and telecom topics around the country. He is Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and on the faculty of the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute. He regularly speaks as a panelist at data center, digital infrastructure and real estate conference around the United States. In addition, he is regularly quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bisnow, Commercial Property News, Real Estate Weekly, and other publications. He co-authored the first treatise chapter on telecom real law for Powell on Real Property in 1999.

Jeff has previously served in numerous governmental positions, including as a Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, a member of the New York State Banking Board, a member of the New York State Financial Control Board, a member of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the Appellate Division of the First Department of the New York State Supreme Court, Assistant to the First Deputy Mayor of the City of New York, and assistant to the Deputy Borough President of the Borough of Manhattan. From 1981 to 1982, Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, US District Judge, and later Chief Judge, for the Southern District of New York.

Jeff is also an emergency medical technician on his local volunteer ambulance and President of his local chapter, as well as having served for 8 years on the Board of Trustees of the umbrella organization which is the largest volunteer ambulance service in the United States.

John Regan serves as the Chief Investment Officer and has been in the technology and facilities infrastructure space for over three decades. In his most recent role as SVP of Acquisitions and CTO for Landmark Dividend, he executed on over a $1 billion in Digital Infrastructure acquisitions.

Prior to Landmark, Mr. Regan worked with Carter Validus (CV) Advisors where he was instrumental in the development and execution of the CV Mission Critical REIT I & II data center platforms from inception. Mr. Regan made CV’s first acquisition in July 2011. By October 2017, pipeline development and management led to closing of over 50 deals, amassing $2 billion of data center assets totaling more than 4.5 million square feet. Mr. Regan is a data center industry leader frequently speaking and moderating at conferences across the U.S. having a number of articles published by and about him.

Mr. Regan’s experience spans over 35 years within information technology, facilities infrastructure, business development, sales and acquisitions serving in various leadership positions while also providing advisory services and consulting for multiple startups. Mr. Regan served in leadership positions for 18 years with PWC, LLP as National Director of Data Center Services, National Director of Network Services, and Director of Infrastructure Delivery.

In these roles, Mr. Regan led technology and facilities infrastructure engineers and project managers through the execution of more than 26 million square feet of real estate projects spanning renovations, restacks, retrofits, consolidations, new builds and the merger of technology and facility infrastructure of Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Regan achieved recognition by ComputerWorld for PWC as the number one Green IT organization worldwide in 2010 after the completion of a state-of-the-art Tier III LEED Gold-certified data center and driving other conservation practices organizationally. Mr. Regan is also an expert in BCDR having developed and executed a multi-tiered program creating PWC’s firm-wide Disaster Recovery program.

Mr. Regan has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. Leo University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Mr. Regan holds several certifications in the infrastructure space having achieved Accredited Tier Specialist (ATS), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) credentials. He holds multiple certifications and various systems designations through Digital Equipment Corporation, Research Triangle Institute, and NCSU.

Since 2009, Allen has been a real estate advisor in the West Region Transaction Advisory Services VBM real estate practice, where he serves investors, developers and users of real estate. Allen prides himself on helping clients realize their goals, manage real estate-related risk, and create unique spaces and communities.

An accomplished, forward-thinking, and goal-oriented data center executive, Michael has over 20 years of expertise leading various high-impacting data center projects and initiatives across industry leaders such as Google and Yahoo.

As Global Head of Design & Delivery, Michael is responsible for the development and construction of cutting-edge data center campuses, ensuring alignment of performance with Aligned’s supply chain methodology as well as best-in-class design, efficiency, and operational objectives. He also leads large cross-functional teams to ensure the scope, quality, schedule and costs of each project are met as contracted, with a focus on enabling customers to achieve speed-to-market and scale with minimal exposure to risk.

Prior to Aligned, Michael served as Head of Global Data Center Operations at Google, where he directed day-to-day operations across all of the company’s state-of-the-art data center campuses, as well as edge sites and Points of Presence (PoPs). Before Google, Michael was the Vice President, Global Data Center Construction and Operations at Yahoo!, where he was responsible for managing and supervising data center engineering and delivery teams in the execution of global data center strategies, including the development and construction of cutting-edge data centers. Michael’s earlier career encompassed serving as Operations Manager, Data Center Division at CEI, Group President – NW Region at SASCO, and Group / Project Executive at Cochran, Inc.

Keith Dines is a recognized expert on data centers. With over 30 years of experience developing data centers for enterprise and colocation providers he has a broad background in all phases of design, construction and IT deployment.

Currently the Senior Leader of Data Center Site Selection and Construction Management for nVidia, he is responsible for the company’s strategy and implementation of its next generation of high-performance data centers for the future of machine learning and artificial intelligence in all of its deployments.

Prior to joining Nvidia, Mr. Dines served in senior management positions for colocation companies including Digital Realty Trust, The Cambay Group, Aligned Energy, and Core Location. While focused on build-to-suit developments at Digital Realty, he developed customized solutions for NetApp, Savvis, ARM Technologies and Equinix.

Earlier in his career as a data center consultant, Dines’ clients included corporate real estate executives, IT directors, and venture capitalists managing software developers, hardware manufacturers, on-line investment firms, on-line travel firms, telecommunications and a university hospital system. His most notable clients include Oracle, Charles Schwab, GI Partners, ViaWest, Adobe, and Stanford University Hospital.

Cary runs Polargy, sometimes into the ground, but most times to good success. He shows up for work mostly because he likes inventing things, with that he is trying to change the way data centers are built. He is particularly keen on figuring new ways to bring speed to the construction equation. For example, after two years of development Polargy launched its structural ceiling system with speed as must have. Today, builders are installing 75,000 square feet in a quick 8 days. On the personal side, Cary is easily distracted by shiny objects. However, when you’re talking to him you will have his full attention; he won’t be checking his text messages.

Tony Grayson is the General Manager of Compass Quantum and is known as a cloud and datacenter leader throughout the industry. He regularly speaks and writes on topics ranging from sustainability to energy to datacenters. Before joining Compass, Tony was an SVP at Oracle, responsible for their cloud physical infrastructure. Before Oracle, Mr. Grayson held senior positions with AWS and Facebook. Before embarking on his datacenter career, Tony served for 20 years in the United States Navy in multiple places, including Commanding Officer of USS PROVIDENCE (SSN-719). He is a winner of the prestigious VADM James Stockdale Award for inspirational leadership.

Herman Brown serves the City and County of San Francisco as the CIO for the SF District Attorney’s

Office. His private-sector mentality and a track record of success, has proved valuable contributions to

the City & County for the last 6 years; with the last 2 years in his current role.

With over 25 years of experience in IT, Herman’s managed several enterprise initiatives that

consolidated services, streamlined processes, and lowered overall city operating costs. His experience

Jon Pettitt is a highly experienced, successful and well-regarded business leader within the data center Industry. Since 2011 Jon held the position of Vice President of data center for EMEA & APAC, specialising in data center cooling solutions and energy efficient systems for the Munters data center business area, Jon has over 15 years of extensive knowledge of HVAC projects for data centres and critical facilities. His background has included employment at York International and Johnson Controls.

Jeremy Rodriguez started working for Nvidia in 2018, forming the data center focused cloud infrastructure group. He has over 15 years of experience in leadership roles covering data center, hardware engineering, and information technology industries. He has a wide range of expertise in artificial intelligence, modular, and hyperscale data centers in combination with server and storage solutions.

In his current role, he leads Nvidia’s data center and cloud infrastructure engineering organization with responsibilities for strategic, R&D, and tactical planning of AI, cloud gaming, and supercomputer data centers. Mr. Rodriguez has worked for many high-growth companies (Facebook, eBay/PayPal, VMware) deploying and managing 100s of megawatts of data center and server solutions. Jeremy’s accomplishments include; the construction of a LEED Platinum data center, patents on data center optimizations and efficiency measurements, the Green IT Award for Modular Data Center Deployment by the Uptime Institute, and multiple awards by the TBM Council. Jeremy and his teams have also been the focus of case study publications from the Green Grid and Stanford University.

As Tate’s Director of Data Center Engineering and Sales, Daniel Kennedy leads the data center division in

both a sales and product development capacity.  With more than 14 years of industry experience, Daniel

uses his vast knowledge of data center disciplines, cooling technology, and IT infrastructure, to develop

relationships and present to Fortune 100 companies. An established thought leader in the data center

industry, he speaks on wide-ranging industry topics at events world-wide and his research has been

compiled into several whitepapers focusing on the subject of raised floors in data centers. Daniel hold

an MBA from George Mason University in Virginia and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Cedarville

University.

Edward Buck is the Vice President of Technology and Service delivery at VPLS. Ed’s executive responsibility includes the design, delivery, maintenance, operations, and support of all VPLS services. Prior to joining Evocative, Ed was a VP at UnitedLayer a San Francisco based Colocation and Hosting Company.

Ed also founded ASPextra in 2003, a company focused on providing scalable and highly available managed hosting solutions. At ASPextra, Ed built a network and service delivery internet infrastructure compromising of multiple, geographically dispersed data centers serving clients in the US, Europe, and Asia.

Ed was a senior manager at Oracle where his responsibilities included corporate business development, technology acquisitions, and strategic alliances. While at Oracle, Ed was deeply involved in technical evaluation, acquisition, and implementation of Internet and e-commerce technologies that shaped much of the Internet ecosystem in its early years.

Ed is a regular contributor to a number of open-source projects. He received his B.A. from Pomona College.

Tony Rossabi is CEO of Recovery Point Group Holding Company, where he focuses on the growth of Recovery Point Systems, a leader in DRaaS, and other companies within the portfolio. A talented and seasoned executive, Rossabi brings over twenty years of experience in technology, communications, data center infrastructure sales, marketing, operations, and strategic planning. Melissa Hertel is the US segment director for the Cloud & Service Provider Segment for Schneider

Electric.  She has over 17 years experience in the electrical and building industry, holding positions in a

variety of management, training, industry relations and marketing roles. As Director of the Cloud &

Service Provider Segment in the USA, Melissa is responsible for the development and implementation of

strategies and tactics that effectively manage and grow the segment.  In addition, she is tasked to

develop operational strategies, goals and objectives to provide growth in sales revenue and operating

margin through the creation of a three-year business plan.   Previously, Melissa worked 10 years for

Philips Electronics in the United States and at their global headquarters in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Jim Fletcher joined Momenta Partners as a Strategy Partner, in the office of the CTO. in 2017. He most recently served IBM as an IBM Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the IBM Watson Internet of Things Platform. In this role, Jim had responsibility for the architecture and technical direction for IBM’s Internet of Things platform including identifying technologies, architecture, M&A and strategic partnerships. Twyla is an experienced business development professional who has worked for 20 years in private sector business development and project management and eight years in public sector economic development. Patrick Fiel is SVP, Corporate Development, at EdgeConneX, the only global data center platform focused exclusively on the Edge and Hyperscale. Patrick has nearly 20 years of experience negotiating corporate development, legal, real estate investment trust (REIT) and capital markets transactions. At EdgeConneX, Patrick leads global corporate development and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including responsibility for structuring and executing EdgeConneX’s corporate strategies and growth initiatives. Rob Walsh is a Managing Director at Devonshire Investors, the private equity group for Fidelity Investments. The portfolio includes COLT Technology Services, a fiber-optic network provider throughout Europe and Asia and COLT Data Center Services, a carrier neutral data center operator throughout Europe and Asia, as well as other telecom-related investments. Earlier in his career, Rob worked in operations at a privately-held manufacturing company and as a management consultant.

Miles Loo Jr., CRE, FRICS, joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2017 in the Downtown Los Angeles office, where he serves as Vice Chairman and the Global Lead for Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Data Centers & Life Science group. Miles is well recognized as the industry’s leading appraiser of data center properties. His experience includes advising private equity funds, institutional investors, large pension funds, Fortune 500 companies, cloud companies and Global IT conglomerates on investments in all types of data centers, including mission critical, disaster recovery data centers, colocation facilities, carrier hotels, internet gateways and life science properties. These assignments have involved data centers owned and/or operated by Fortune 500 companies across numerous industries as well as Uptime Institute Site Certified Tier III and Tier IV facilities; U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Platinum, Gold and Silver buildings; and state and federal disaster recovery data centers. Miles has led valuations of large individual and portfolio valuations spanning multiple countries across six continents (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM and African regions) and has consulted on a number of the world’s largest data centers.
