The Mills Building is a 470,000 RSF San Francisco landmark with singular historical, architectural and aesthetic interest. Average floorplates in the main Building contain 39,000 rsf. The Mills offers tenants a central location close to San Francisco’s main mass transit lines along with a 150 car valet garage. Our newest amenity, to be delivered in Q1 2022, is a contemporary health and secure bike complex featuring showers, lockers and a wellness room. The Building recently welcomed a new state of the art conference center and tenant lounge. Retail in the Building is anchored by ILLY Coffee’s west coast flagship store, as well as other food options and personal services

Our Commitment to your Safety

We have experienced the enthusiasm of returning to live in-person events this year, having safely and successfully hosted more than 10,000 executives to date. While we are thrilled to convene together to propel growth within CRE, COVID-19 remains a worldwide concern and Bisnow is committed to practicing safe protocols at our events. You can expect the following:

Given that the overwhelming majority of the market is already fully vaccinated, we will be requiring proof of vaccination as a condition of entry to our event. Proof of vaccination can be shown via a physical card or a digital image of your records.
Facial coverings will be required by all staff & attendees, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be made available at the door.
Temperature checks will be conducted at entry.
Attendance at the event will be capped and no tickets will be sold at the door.
Contact tracing procedures will be employed for any reported exposure.
Socially distanced seating will be available in the main event space.
Enhanced sanitization protocols will be adhered to throughout the event space including regularly disinfecting surfaces throughout the event and hand sanitizer provided to all attendees.

Shawn Zovod

Shawn J. Zovod is a Partner in Lubin Olson’s Natural Resources, Land Use and Real Estate Practice Groups. She specializes in environmental and natural resources law and strategy, with an emphasis on Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and National Historic Preservation Act permitting, and the preparation of environmental documents under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Ms. Zovod represents local agencies, institutions, developers, energy companies, and other property owners in negotiations with federal and state regulators, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Marine Fisheries Service, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, California Office of Historic Preservation, and the Regional Water Quality Control Boards. She has extensive experience with Section 7 consultations under the Endangered Species Act, and in preparing and processing Habitat Conservation Plans, Safe Harbor Agreements, complex individual Clean Water Act permits, Nationwide Permit authorizations, Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreements, Special Area Management Plans, Historic Property Treatment Plans, NEPA and CEQA documents, conservation easements and mitigation funding agreements. Ms. Zovod has successfully represented clients throughout California and the western states in evaluating the suitability of properties for development, securing federal and state resource permits, implementing wetland and species permits and mitigation plans, and when necessary resolving violations and securing after-the-fact permits. She also acts as general counsel to a wetlands conservation organization. Prior to joining Lubin Olson, Ms. Zovod was Counsel at Ebbin Moser + Skaggs LLP and a member of the Environmental and Land Use practice group at Bingham McCutchen (formerly McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen). Throughout her career, Ms. Zovod has authored several articles regarding trends in land use and natural resources law, and she speaks regularly at professional conferences.

Barbara Morrison

Barbara Morrison is a business and civic leader. A small business advocate. And a changemaker. She and her well- trained team ensure small-business owners can step onto the path of property ownership and business expansion. Small-Business Advocate As the founder, chief executive officer, and president of TMC Financing (TMC), a Certified Development Company (CDC), Ms. Morrison works closely with the Small Business Administration 504 (SBA 504) program to secure funding for business owners to purchase commercial real estate; often, in the exact building they lease from a landlord. To date, TMC has facilitated and secured more than $10 billion in funding for real estate projects in California and Nevada and Arizona, its designated service region. As a result, 6,000 businesses were able to create and retain 60,000 jobs throughout the region. In 2021, TMC earned the top rank as the nation’s number one SBA 504 lender in the nation. Serial Entrepreneur In 1981, Ms. Morrison created TMC to provide a clear and accessible roadmap for small-business owners to the SBA 504 loan program. Building on TMC's success, Ms. Morrison sought more in-depth solutions to address the needs of start-ups, women, minority, and low-income businesses unable to obtain conventional financing. In 1999, Working Solutions debuted to a welcoming audience; In 2009, it became a designated Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). In early 2019, TMC Community Capital joined the Morrison family of companies, launching as an online, nonprofit microlender for under-served and resourced business owners. With emphasis on lower-income women entrepreneurs, Ms. Morrison and her team are closing in on lending inequality. Business to Public Service to Business Early in her career, Barbara Morrison spent two years on the institutional trading desk of a regional investment bank. In mayor Dianne Feinstein's administration, Ms. Morrison became the deputy director of the Mayor's Office of Economic Development and developed the city's Small Business Administration (SBA) program. She also served as a former mayor and city council member in Belvedere, California. Among award recognitions: Financial Woman, San Francisco, Financial Woman of the Year for 2012; San Francisco Business Times’ "Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence Hall of Fame”; Marin County Women's Hall of Fame; TMC recognized for four years as San Francisco Business Times’ "Bay Area Best Places to Work"; SBA's "Small Business Advocate Award"; and the Arthur Goodman Achievement and Diversity award. Education Barbara Morrison earned her Master of Public Policy from California State University, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Political Science and History from the University of Vermont.

Leslie Lundin

Leslie Lundin is co-founder and Managing Partner of LBG Real Estate Companies, LLC. Leslie is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of capital raising and reporting, as well as asset management, due diligence and documentation of LBG transactions. Prior to co-founding LBG, Leslie was Senior Vice President for Inland Mortgage Capital Corporation, in charge of their national opportunistic debt investment program which she formed in 1995. Leslie directly oversaw all of Inland’s origination offices, directed all marketing of the program, oversaw the pre-approval process of pending loans, and was engaged in strategic investment decisions to determine the direction of the program. Before joining Inland, from 1990-1995, Leslie was a lender at ITT Real Estate Services, where she originated participating bridge and construction loans. In 2014, Leslie was named as one of Bisnow’s Los Angeles Power Women in CRE and has been nominated as one of East Bay CREW’s Most Influential Women in CRE. She was also named as one of Real Estate Forum’s 2009 Women of Influence and one of Southern California’s Most Influential Women by Real Estate Southern California Magazine in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. She is frequently published and interviewed by industry periodicals and routinely speaks at industry conferences, including ICSC, NAIOP, Crittenden, Realshares, IMN, iGlobal, Trigild, Biznow, CREW, ACRE and Women’s Leadership Counsel. From 2007 to 2009, Leslie was Chair of the ICSC/NAIOP Capital Marketplace Conference held annually in New York and now serves on the committee. She chaired the 2010 and 2011 ICSC/NAIOP/LAMA Capital Marketplace West Conference (one that she started). She is also on the first ever ICSC Recon Committee and the Chair of the ICSC International Capital Markets Committee. Leslie also chairs the Final Frontier Conference: a Seminar on Women as Entrepreneurs in Commercial Real Estate, which she conceived of in 2009. Leslie received a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature and Communication Arts with a Minor in French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also a licensed California real estate broker.
