Aaron Alhady, General Manager at Clark Pacific, brings over 40 years of experience in the construction field. Throughout his career, he has taken on diverse roles spanning development, design phase services, integrated delivery and operations inclusive of product development and design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA), with a specific focus on parking structures. His journey includes 6 years at Clark Pacific and nearly 30 years at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. Aaron obtained his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California State University, Chico. He actively participates in industry associations, including the DBIA Sacramento Chapter, and serves as a dedicated Board Member at CEA. Aaron's depth of knowledge and integrated practical insights continue to contribute to the construction industry's growth and development.

Jamie is the executive overseeing ACC’s P3 division, responsible for all on-campus business development efforts, including our American Campus Equity® (ACE) program. Under Jamie’s leadership, his team has developed and/or completed more than three dozen on-campus transactions – including third party, tax-exempt bond finance projects, conventional leasehold mortgages, university general obligation bonds, and direct investments under the ACE program.

These transactions comprise nearly $2.1 billion in total development cost. All told, Jamie has been involved in higher education finance for more than 25 years. Prior to joining ACC in 2007, Jamie was an investment banker specializing in higher education and related non-profit finance. Throughout his investment banking career, Jamie participated in the origination of more than $2 billion of debt and derivative transactions for more than 80 higher education institutions and nonprofits. Prior to joining the company, he also served as the investment banker for more than $350 million of ACC projects prior to joining the company. Having worked very closely with higher-ed presidents, CFOs, and finance committees, Jamie has an unmatched understanding of the complex issues these leaders face when managing their balance sheets, debt capacity, and credit ratings while successfully achieving their overall mission and vision.

His deep experience and unique perspective combine to help ACC achieve win-win solutions for the colleges and universities we serve. Jamie joined ACC from RBC Bank’s public finance department, where he served as the managing director of the higher education sector.

Prior to RBC, he was a managing director with Banc One Capital Markets (currently JPMorgan Capital Markets) and held positions at McDonald & Company Securities (currently KeyBanc Capital Markets) and The Ohio Company (currently Fifth Third Markets).

industry has allowed me to utilize skills, education,

ideas and experience acquired during my career

with the service aspect that is the focus of the

public sector ensuring exceptional results while

providing the highest level of dedication, ethical

conduct, economic returns, customer service,

social justice and focus that is required in working

with public agencies. In my professional career, I

have worked on many high impact large

development projects to improve and bring values

to the communities and interacted positively with

many governmental official, non-profit

organizations, commercial tenants, private sector

developers, financial institutions, consultants and

professional in educational sectors. I have

extensive real estate experience in public and

private sectors in areas of right of way, Eminent

Domain, development, asset management,

marketing, commercial office and retail leases,

ground leasing, permits, licenses, easements,

CEQA process, redevelopment, feasibility analysis,

land acquisition, airport property management,

below market & affordable housing, solar leases,

telecommunication leases, surplus disposition,

non-profit leasing, economic development and site

assembly of high impact projects. My experience

in the public sector has been with two of the most

diverse and economically challenged cities in the

Bay Area, Cities of East Palo Alto and Oakland,

one of the most affluent, the City of Palo Alto and

finally with presently with San Francisco State

University (SFSU).

I also have extensive leadership experience and

volunteerism working with community-based non-

profit organizations and unions. I served on the

board of Rebuilding Together Oakland and

Oakland Asian Cultural Center, Pacific

Renaissance Plaza and currently serve as a bord

member of Rebound Institute. During my

employment with City of Oakland, after being

elected as the president of the Engineering Unit,

an once underperforming unit has become one of

the most dynamic and vocal units of IFPTE Local

21 Oakland.

Charles Kahn is the managing principal of Studio KDA, a 25-person architecture firm specializes in multifamily housing, retail centers, and restaurants with services ranging from master planning to interior design. Studio KDA is diverse in project type but unified in its mission: to use design to create places that are true to their culture and context, that are engaging and lasting, and that foster social interaction. As a former developer and general contractor, Charles’ perspective is informed by a deep understanding of his clients concerns and objectives. He enjoys working with people and is often sought for his aptitude in building consensus with municipalities, neighborhood groups, and local businesses to get complex projects entitled and built efficiently. Charles is a frequent lecturer at U.C. Berkeley, a panelist at ICSC events, and is a current member of the City of Berkeley’s Zoning Adjustments Board and Design Review Commission. He received a BA from Harvard University and Masters from U.C. Berkeley.

Christian M. Cerria is Development Director of Gilbane Development Company since 2017 and a proven entrepreneurial leader in sourcing and managing the development of large mixed-use projects across the country, successfully delivering or currently has in development over 2.5M SF / 2,500 Units / 5,000 beds valued at $750 million.

During that time frame, Mr. Cerria has overseen the strategic direction and development of Altus, The York, Tempo, and Western Gateway. Mr. Cerria has unique expertise in assemblages, entitlements, incentives, ground leases, design, finance, and public-private partnerships. As Development Director, he is responsible for sourcing deals and creatively developing them throughout the deal’s lifecycle as effectively and efficiently as possible, including site selection, market research, contract negotiations, managing relationships with key stakeholders and consultants, design, neighborhood outreach, entitlements, permits, financing, and construction to ensure the project’s success.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Maryland and a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Georgetown University.

Focusing on urban-infill mixed-use projects, she believes that architecture should be deeply rooted in the community where it sits, responsibly responding to client goals, community needs and the urban context.

Sean Falvey is a seasoned construction professional with nearly 20 years of industry experience. Currently, he serves as a Vice President and Regional Director for Sundt’s Building Group, California District. Sean joined Sundt in 2017 and has since taken on various key roles within the company. Prior to his current role, Sean was the project executive for Hornet Commons, a 1100 bed student housing project on the Sacramento State Campus. He is currently overseeing the $193 million dollar Cal Poly Humboldt Craftsman Student Housing project scheduled to open in 2025. Sean's contributions have been recognized by the industry, as he was named a 2023 ENR top 20 under 40 and Sacramento Business Journal’s 40 under 40.

In addition to his work with Sundt, Sean is also a Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) Board Trustee, demonstrating his commitment to the development of the next generation of construction professionals. Previously, he served as a CREATE Mentor and a member of the CREATE board of directors.

Sean is a LEED® Accredited Professional (AP BD+C) and a certified Design-Build Professional, further demonstrating his commitment to sustainable building practices and innovative construction methods. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Santa Clara University and a master’s degree in business administration from Sacramento State.
