Jon Dishotsky is the co-founder and CEO of Starcity, a startup building a new category of real estate called co-living. Designed to help make cities accessible to anyone, Starcity offers its residents a comfortable living experience with a private, fully furnished bedroom complemented by warm, inviting shared kitchens and living spaces. Prior to co-founding Starcity in 2016, Jon spent more than ten years in commercial real estate based in San Francisco, helping companies expand their headcount globally. Jon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from UC Davis and is based in San Francisco, CA.

Called a “Startup Hero” by North Carolina Business Magazine and a maverick and mold breaker by SouthPark Magazine, Chris has written 9 books, and is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UNC – Charlotte and Queens University of Charlotte. Chris serves on the board of four startups and advisor three other Charlotte based companies. Chris travels the country speaking on the topics of startup success, innovation, entrepreneurship, sales, technology, and automation.

Chris began working at AvidXchange in 2000 as one of its earliest employees. AvidXchange, a global unicorn with a +$1 billion valuation, is one of the fastest growing fintech companies in the country with 1,300 employees across seven offices.

Chris has been on a journey to prefect a message that resonates and motivates audience since he was 18 years old. “My dad had me read the book, See You At The Top, by Zig Ziglar. Chris lives in Lake Wylie SC, where teaching, business, four kids and a wife keep him very busy.

Heather Moore is Managing Director of Real Estate for Greystar in New York. She oversees the Operations, Construction, and Marketing Teams. She oversees approximately 40 buildings with 7,000 units primarily in NYC. Heather has operational expertise in capital investment, value-add strategies, and value execution, and has led operational teams on multiple new developments through stabilization. Heather has experience with public and private investors for both individual owners and third-party managers.

Heather has been active in the multifamily industry since 1997. Prior to joining Greystar in 2017, Heather spent 10 years operating communities in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and San Francisco for AvalonBay. Prior to that, she oversaw a portfolio of communities in the Midwest for Village Green Companies. She attended Arizona State University and holds CAM, PAM, and NALP Property Management designations.

Darrin Ketter

Having joined the Sares-Regis Group in 2013, Darrin has worked in multi-family management throughout California since 1998. In addition to his current role as Regional Vice President for Sares-Regis in Northern California, he has worked for a variety of companies including Sequoia Equities, Equity Residential, and MG Properties. Darrin’s current multi-family portfolio is focused from the Peninsula through the North Bay and is largely comprised of third-party management for a variety of clients. His experience largely includes Class-A properties in urban markets. He also has extensive experience with lease-ups and consulting throughout the Bay Area. Darrin has a Bachelor of the Arts degree from the Kansas City Art Institute.

Nicholas Sanderson

Nicholas Sanderson is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Luxer One, where he owns and executes the strategy for the multifamily industry. Prior to joining Luxer One, Nicholas was a Principal at Legal Restaurants, a hospitality development company specializing in food and beverage amenity concepting, design, construction, and operations for Class A Office Buildings. Before starting Legal Restaurants, Nicholas was the CEO of Laundry Locker, a locker-based drycleaning and laundry company specializing in 24/7 delivery and pickup of dry cleaning and laundry for Class A Multifamily buildings.
