As President of Northern California for City Ventures, Mr. Hendry leads the Northern California Division and oversees the land acquisition, entitlement, and development of mixed-use residential communities across the San Francisco Bay Area. In his tenure, he has originated over 30 new home communities in Northern California now at various stages of development and oversees a pipeline of 2,500+ homes. He has worked with over 20 different city governments around the Bay Area and has a knack for bringing stakeholders together to get projects approved in today’s challenging housing environment. Prior to City Ventures, Mr. Hendry worked in New York City in an acquisitions role for Madison Realty Capital, an institutionally-backed real estate private equity firm with over $4 billion in firm assets. Mr. Hendry began his career at Pacer Communities where he managed the entitlement and development of large-scale residential communities across Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. Mr. Hendry received a M.Sc. of Real Estate Development from Columbia University, an M.B.A. from University of San Francisco, and a B.A. from UCLA.

Salil Payappilly heads Real Estate Development in the Bay Area for BioMed Realty, a Blackstone portfolio company, and a leading provider of real estate solutions to the life science and technology industries. He has worked in the industry for 20 years, and with BioMed Realty for over 10 years in various markets including Boston, Cambridge, New York, Seattle and San Francisco. He holds an M.S. from Stanford University and an MBA from Yale University.

Ms. Olmstead has 33 years of direct experience in investing, corporate finance and capital-raising. She has originated and closed over $2 billion in loans, property acquisitions and joint ventures, and has executed the workout and restructuring of over $1.3 billion of real estate assets. In 2009, with Susan Sagy, Ms. Olmstead co-founded W3 Partners—a fully integrated real estate operating company and investment manager with national expertise—and served as its Co-CEO. Prior to W3, Ms. Olmstead was a principal at CIM Group, where she opened their San Francisco office and headed acquisitions and development in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Previously, as an EVP of iStar, she was responsible for the company’s western region activities, including origination of structured finance transactions and acquisition of triple net lease assets. Earlier, she held positions in asset management, lending, acquisitions and equity raising with Arthur Andersen LLP, USF&G Corporation, Cigna Corporation and Aetna, Inc.

Mike Futrell began serving as City Manager of South San Francisco, California, in April 2014, bringing broad executive experience in local, state and federal government. He was Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; served on staff in the United States Senate; and was an elected member of the Louisiana House of Representatives and of the Baton Rouge City Council. He served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy and rose to the rank of Navy Captain in the Navy Reserves. He previously practiced law with a private firm and was Executive Vice President of a public utility company in Hawaii.

Mike holds a bachelor's degree in Business/Public Administration and a Juris Doctorate degree from Louisiana State University, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business Learn-Engage-Accelerate-Disrupt (LEAD) Certificate program in Corporate Innovation.

Ken serves as Project Executive for major residential development projects, overseeing feasibility, entitlements, financing, design, construction, marketing, and sell out/lease-up. He is a member of the Senior Management Team for the Residential Division.

Today, Mr. Song oversees Greenland USA’s more than $1B investment at the Oyster Point project in South San Francisco. Mr. Song works closely with senior leaders to drive Greenland USA’s investment pipeline, actively seeking strategic growth opportunities on the West Coast.

Mr. Song joined Greenland Group in 2003, where he served as design director and deputy general manager in the South Jiangsu Real Estate Division, and deputy general manager of Jiangsu regional center in the First Division. He has developed more than 100 million square feet of mixed-use property, including residential towers, hotels, shopping centers and ultra-high-rise office buildings, such as Greenland Wuxi Century City, Greenland Suzhou Central Plaza, Changshu Old Town, Greenland Changzhou Century City, Greenland Zhenjiang Central Plaza, Greenland Nanjing Central Plaza, Yangzhou-Greenland Being Funny and the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel.

Mr. Song holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Tongji University in Shanghai.d Technology. He is a certified senior engineer in China.
