Craig Young is the Founder and Managing Principal of Tidewater Capital. Mr. Young oversees Tidewater's investment, development, asset management, and organizational activities. Over the past two years, Mr. Young has grown the firm's portfolio by investing in entitlement, vertical development, and existing projects across a range of product types including market rate, affordable, and rent-controlled housing, as well as office, retail, and self-storage assets. Mr. Young also spearheaded the development of The Hall, a local food venue that has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and the San Francisco Chronicle.

Prior to founding Tidewater, Mr. Young managed the office-investing platform for The JBG Companies in Washington, DC. His previous work experience includes roles at the CIM Group in Los Angeles, the Ballast Point Group in Florida, and Deutsche Bank in New York City. Through his career Mr. Young has gained significant real estate investment and development experience across a broad range of geographies and asset classes.

Mr. Young is actively involved in various philanthropic efforts aimed at promoting financial literacy, civic education, and entrepreneurial training for youth in under-served local neighborhoods. He is also on the Advisory Board of Urban Solutions, a non-profit focused on supporting small businesses. In 2014, Mr. Young received the Golden Brick Award, a recognition presented annually to an individual who has made an outstanding impact in their community. In 2015, Mr. Young was recognized as one of the San Francisco Business Times’ 40 Under 40 honorees.

Jeff Brink has over 20 years of structural design experience with significant developments up and down the west coast, ranging from Performance Based Design high-rises to mixed-use projects at Candlestick Point, the SF Shipyard, and Yerba Buena Island. Current projects include the City of San Francisco’s new office tower at 1500 Mission Street and the Virgin Hotel adjacent to the Moscone Center. Jeff’s technical expertise at integrating innovative structural systems, combined with his broad understanding of the construction industry, allows architecturally decisive projects to be achieved while still maintaining the project budget.

As Chief Executive Officer of Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC), Donald S. Falk leads the community-based, nonprofit housing development, management and social services agency in San Francisco with nearly 325 employees and 33 properties containing about 3000 homes housing nearly 3600 people, nearly 25% of whom came to the organization out of homelessness. From 1982-1994, Falk held a variety of positions with Jubilee West, a neighborhood based nonprofit that provides services and housing in West Oakland. He chairs the Community Leadership Council and serves on the Boards of Directors of Enterprise Community Partners and the Corporation for Supportive Housing. He serves on advisory boards of NeighborWorks America, St. Francis Memorial Hospital Foundation, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. He is the past president of the Nonprofit Housing Association of Northern California, on whose board he served for seven years. Falk has a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics and Urban Studies from Oberlin College.

Prior to co-founding Long Market Property Partners in 2013, Daniel was employed by Seligman Western Enterprises for over 12 years as Director of Acquisitions. During his tenure, he closed over $600 million of capital transactions where he oversaw the underwriting, financing, and ownership transitions of these assets. Daniel has acquired retail and office assets in San Francisco, Hawaii, Nevada, Texas, and Southern California. Due to the hands-on operational environment at Seligman Western, Daniel gained experience with ground-up development and entitlements, along with extensive management and leasing. Daniel is a graduate of the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.

Sean is the co-founder of Truebeck Construction, and serves as Principal. He drives the firm’s strategy and growth as a progressive builder setting the standards in the construction industry. Sean fosters the firm’s entrepreneurial spirit and encourages an innovative culture for a high-performing and high-achieving team. With a background in preconstruction and estimating, Sean’s focus is always on delivering an extraordinary level of detail, reliability and precision. He is dedicated to building a team of best-in-class estimators, engineers, superintendents and executives to keep Truebeck at the forefront of the industry. Sean earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Todd Sklar joined Shorenstein in 2006. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s development activities nationwide, including site evaluation, entitlement, design, construction and initial tenant improvements.

Mr. Sklar is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the American Institute of Architects, is licensed to practice architecture in California and New York, and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Prior to joining Shorenstein, Mr. Sklar was a principal of Mezzatesta Sklar, a San Francisco-based development service and planning firm, for twelve years. Prior to Mezzatesta Sklar, he practiced architecture at EHDD in San Francisco and Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer in New York.

Mr. Sklar graduated from The University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts with a Bachelor of Architecture where he currently serves as a board member.
