Why This Matters

What You'll Learn:

  • What is the state of multifamily to begin 2022, and what do the industry leaders believe to be the most important trends in market-rate and affordable housing? To include everything from the entitlement process to planning and finances to completing developments and leasing.

  • Let's deep dive into the proposal and entitlement procedure and explore what pushes projects over the goal line. How can you create the smoothest and most efficient process on your side?

  • How and to what extent has infill development shaped multifamily projects in San Francisco? What is being replaced, where, and what is in the pipeline for 2022?

  • How is affordable housing being handled in 2022? What can be done to increase investment attraction as well as identify the financial options available in the local market?

  • What is being done to meet the ever-increasing housing demands across classes, both market-rate and affordable, within San Francisco? What are the leading developments and where is the opportunity?

How You'll Do More Business:

San Francisco's housing market has been hit harder than other California markets in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, as office tenants and residents vacate the city and hamper multifamily demand. The exodus comes as developers are facing rising construction costs, a challenging entitlement process, and work hybrid availability. How are successful projects getting done right now in the city? Hear from industry leaders in the local market about the current demand climate, and how they’re navigating industry headwinds.

Who Attends:
