What You'll Learn:

What You’ll Learn:

  • Analyze the current state of supply and demand in the Bay Area’s life sciences market, where elevated vacancy rates and a growing inventory of lab space are creating new challenges — and opportunities — for owners, investors, and tenants.
  • Learn how innovation clusters across the Peninsula, South San Francisco, Emeryville, and Stanford are drawing top talent, VC funding, and biotech companies of all stages.
  • Discover how life sciences developers and tenants are designing and delivering next-generation lab spaces — from flexible and sustainable buildings to tech-enabled research environments.
  • Explore how institutions, universities, and incubators are partnering with the private sector to accelerate startup growth and strengthen the regional biotech ecosystem.
  • Understand how lab developers are accommodating both emerging biotech companies and large-scale pharma tenants with flexible footprints, speed-to-market strategies, and modern infrastructure.
  • Dive into the future of life sciences real estate through a lens of sustainability, operational efficiency, and tenant wellness — and what it takes to deliver high-performing facilities in a competitive market.
  • Unpack the latest trends in life sciences financing and partnerships, including how the capital stack is evolving in response to slower funding cycles and tightened capital markets.

How You’ll Do More Business: Following the explosive demand for space in 2021 and 2022, and a wave of new supply that led to oversaturation in 2023 and 2024, 2025 marks a pivotal moment for the Bay Area life sciences market. As leasing activity begins to stabilize and tenants seek high-quality, flexible lab space, opportunities are emerging for well-positioned owners and developers. Join us for our signature full-day event, where we’ll explore capital markets, funding strategies, supply and demand dynamics, standout developments, strategic partnerships, and the future of sustainable, tech-enabled lab facilities built to attract top biotech tenants.
