Ben Reinberg is Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Consolidated Group of Companies, LLC and as such, provides overall strategic and investment direction and leadership to the firm.

Ben is a respected authority on commercial real estate acquisition and investment as well as the development and structuring of transactions. He is well-versed in 1031 Exchanges and assessing the needs of investment capital.

Ben brings value to the deal process through his ability to build trust quickly, raise equity efficiently, solve problems, and bridge the gap between Buyers and Sellers. Ben has authored and published numerous articles pertaining to the trade.

Ben’s judicious management of key resources and glass half-full approach to the assessment of market conditions differentiate him in a market in which the perception of opportunity has diminished. Ben caters to the knowledgeable commercial real estate investor and broker by adding value and creating goodwill at every touchpoint. An avid marketer, Ben has positioned Alliance as a stalwart in the commercial real estate industry. Through strategic use of the Internet, he has solidified existing business relationships and extended his reach to potential investors and sellers.

Prior to establishing Alliance, Ben founded Hillcrest Trading, Ltd., a national acquisition and management firm. He began acquiring commercial real estate assets in the 1990s.

Ben received a B.S. from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and is also a Certified Public Accountant. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants (ICPA), The Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also a Charter Member of the International Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals.

David Lynn

David Lynn, Ph.D., CRE, is an award-winning institutional real estate investor, portfolio manager, and investment strategist with expertise in national and global commercial real estate. He is a member of The Counselors of Real Estate.

Dr. Lynn is the founder and CEO of Unity Medical Properties (UMP). UMP is a focused private equity real estate firm investing and managing medical buildings around the country. Previously David was founder and CEO of Everest Healthcare Properties, LLC. He built a portfolio of institutional medical buildings across 11 states and eventually sold the firm to a leading Fortune 500 multinational firm achieving top quartile returns and wining “Best Equity Deal of 2019” awarded by Real Estate Finance and Investment.

Prior to establishing Everest Healthcare Properties, LLC, he was the CIO, Executive Vice President, and Head of Portfolio Management for Cole REIT and Cole Investments. As key leader of the Executive Team, he managed the investment functions for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of private and public real estate funds.

At ING Clarion, Dr. Lynn was the Managing Director and Partner and Head of Global Investment Strategy for its $100 billion dollar AUM platform. Prior to ING Clarion, he was the Managing Director, Global Head of Strategy and Research, with AIG Global Real Estate, Senior Director with AvalonBay, and Vice President for Regional Real Estate Investments for the Keppel Corporation in Singapore.

Dr. Lynn was Professor of Professional Practice at the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and has published six real estate investment books.

He received his Ph.D. and Master of Science in Financial Economics, with Distinction, from the London School of Economics. Dr. Lynn also earned a Master of Business Administration, and Sloan Fellowship, from

the Sloan School of Management at MIT as well as a Master of Art in Urban Planning and Real Estate as a Cornell Professional Scholar at Cornell University.

Ilya Hvostikov

Ilya Hvostikov is a Vice President, Investments with Anchor Health Properties and is based in the firm’s

Media, PA office.

As a key member of the investments team, he serves in an integral role in the management of real

estate acquisition and development investments overseeing the entire lifecycle, including sourcing,

valuation, negotiations, due diligence, and acquisition of healthcare real estate throughout the United

States. With more than ten years of significant involvement in the healthcare real estate sector, he has

participated in more than $1 billion of medical office acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Ilya

also provides leadership and guidance to the investment and development platforms through sourcing

and screening real estate investment opportunities and providing recommendations to institutional

equity partners.

Prior to joining Anchor, Ilya worked as an Analyst at Gramercy Property Trust. He started his career at

PNC Bank in a rotational development program where he had exposure to various areas within the asset

management and corporate banking divisions.

Ilya earned his BBA from Temple University with a concentration in Finance and International Business.

Catherine House

National Healthcare Chair

Catherine House, CRE, FRICS, CCIM, is the SVN National Healthcare Chair of the 2,000+ commercial real estate brokerage firm SVN. As Chair she is responsible for coordinating healthcare related commercial real estate activities, in particular, medical & dental office buildings and seniors housing (ALF’s, SNF’s, MC, etc.) throughout the company. She is particularly known for her experience in the acquisition and disposition of medical & office buildings, medical condominiums and neighborhood commercial buildings throughout Northern California. She is also a frequent industry speaker on the commercial real estate industry, with a focus on Healthcare.

In 2021 she was invited to become a Counselor of Real Estate. In 2010, San Francisco Business Times named her one of the “Most Influential Women in Business in the Bay Area”. Catherine’s career in commercial real estate began in 1993 in London, England where she graduated as a Chartered Surveyor and worked for CBRE until she was recruited to this country in 2001. Much of her success in the real estate field can be attributed to her early years of training as a Chartered Surveyor as well as her subsequent designation as a CCIM, conferred upon commercial real estate leaders with a proven record of success in the field as well as mastery of financial, market, and investment analysis. At SVN she is one of the top producing brokers, ranked in the top 10% of over 1,600 brokers+ nationally every year since she joined.

Catherine earned her real estate degree (BSc. Hons.) in commercial real estate (valuation, law and construction) at South Bank University, London, England.

Tom Whitelock

Tom is based in Walnut Creek and focuses exclusively on tenant

representation, with emphasis on multi-market occupiers in the

West. Tom partners with his clients to manage their real estate

portfolios based on their evolving occupancy requirements, offering

services that include workplace and portfolio strategy, site

selection, transaction management and lease negotiations. He is

focused on building long-term relationships based on his

demonstrated ability to drive value and help his clients make

informed real estate decisions.

Experience

Tom joined JLL in 2017 after representing clients at Cushman &

Wakefield in San Francisco. Prior to joining JLL’s Walnut Creek

brokerage group, Tom was a transactions & acquisitions manager

on the Kaiser Permanente account, where he worked on site

acquisition, financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction

negotiation on behalf of Kaiser Permanente throughout Northern

California and the Pacific Northwest. Over the past seven years, Tom

has represented office and medical clients in complex real estate

transactions totaling in excess of 2m sf.

Education

Tom graduated from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor of

Science degree in Psychology, as well as minors in both Finance and

Business Administration. Tom grew up in the East Bay and remains

an active member in the community. He lives in Concord with his

wife, Erin, and their dog Otto.

JJohn Pollock is Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director at Meridian. Mr. Pollock is responsible for

the capital markets, financing, and operational functions of Meridian. He works with his executive

leadership team on the company’s strategy and operations. Before his most recent role, Mr. Pollock

served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

With more than 30 years of knowledge shaped by a wide range of experiences in commercial and

residential real estate development, Mr. Pollock has proven his ability to lead, manage and develop

highly effective cross functional teams. Prior to joining Meridian in 2006, Mr. Pollock served as General

Manager for national home builder Centex Homes where he was responsible for all land development,

construction and sales in Santa Fe, New Mexico. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Pollock served as Vice

President of Bovis Lend Lease, a leading international project management and construction company

operating in more than thirty countries. At Bovis, Mr. Pollock’s responsibilities included managing

finance, project controls and risk management and he was involved in a wide range of transactions in

size, scope, and geography.

Notable developments Mr. Pollock has been involved in include, Santana Row in San Jose, CA, Four

Seasons Hotel in San Francisco, CA, Lincoln Square in Bellevue, WA and the Privatization of Fort Hood

Family Housing in Killeen, TX.

John is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and sits on the ULI Health Care and Life Science Council.

He also serves on the HREI Editorial Advisory Board and is a Certified Public Accountant. John Received a

Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from St. Mary’s College.

Mr. Leonard, who holds and AB from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, has been actively involved in commercial real estate since 1987, and has owned Bayside Realty Partners since 2002. Formerly head of Trammell Crow Company’s Northern California division, he has been responsible for overseeing a 5 million sf portfolio, a team of 55 professionals and has acquired and developed over $100 million in office/R&D properties.

Having completed transactions totaling over $925 million in leases, acquisitions, dispositions, development and financings, Mr. Leonard provides an extensive level of transactional and management experience, particularly with healthcare properties.

Michael’s relationship with architecture has evolved immensely since he was a kid obsessed with skyscrapers. That early love of buildings led him to the field, but it is his unique ability to experience the world in and around the physical environment that continues to motivate his work.

He is enthusiastic about continuing his own professional growth by becoming more involved both inside and outside of our organization. As a project manager with Boulder Associates, Michael is dedicated to improving the project delivery experience for those on his team while creating healthcare spaces that speak to staff and patients alike.

Michael holds a Master of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design and has been an integral part of our San Francisco office since 2014.

A tireless problem solver, Erik believes in the power of collaboration across architecture, engineering, and construction disciplines to focus the breadth of a team’s experience to creatively solve his clients design and operational problems.

Hanson leads projects, and pursuit strategies for major healthcare opportunities while also providing growth strategies for Perkins&Will’s healthcare practice across California.

With more than 30 years of experience working across a wide variety of project types including Master Planning, inpatient and ambulatory healthcare design, Erik has a broad and diverse project portfolio that includes work for many of the country’s leading healthcare design firms, including NBBJ, Stantec, Tsoi/Kobus and Associates. Erik has served as Design Director, Managing Principal, Regional Business Development Leader, and Practice Leader.

Erik was a founding principal of oceanUS, a progressive, multi-disciplinary research and computational design firm providing architectural, interior and product design services. He was also a collaborator with oceanD, a research-based design network based in Boston, New York and London, publishing and exhibiting work both nationally and internationally.

He regularly speaks at national conferences related to design and delivery trends in healthcare, and the integration of computational design into exciting design workflows.

In his spare time, Hanson is an avid sea-kayaker, having previously served as a kayak instructor in Boston and Maine. He is a guitarist who continues to explore his interest in the communalities of composing music with designing architecture.
