Laura Hall has been with EAH Housing since 2008, and became president and CEO in 2019. As president and CEO, she is responsible for the operations, real estate development, real estate management and services for over 25,000 residents and over 700 employees.

Ms. Hall has more than 25 years of leadership experience, including real estate development – new construction and acquisition/rehabilitation, facilities management and client services.

Prior to her tenure at EAH Housing, Ms. Hall was responsible for strategic planning, operations management, and regulatory compliance of a corporation providing community-based programs, totaling nearly 1,000 employees and $70 million in revenue. She managed projects spanning from site acquisition and response to Requests for Proposals (RFP), to supervising the transition from business development to operations. She possesses substantial expertise in the areas of contract negotiations, customer development and retention. In addition, she worked to raise awareness within the legislative, judicial and executive branches of the government regarding the need for community services.

She has a California Broker License and graduated with high honors from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science. She received a Master’s in Business Administration, Strategic Leadership, from Dominican University in San Rafael.

Since 2013, Daria has been involved in the origination of over a half-billion dollars in debt transactions, and has worked for major firms, including Umpqua Bank, NAI, and Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation. The vast network of lenders she has built over the years, coupled with a history of successfully navigating the often complex and arduous deal process, ensures the highest level of support and service to every client.

Over the years, Daria has broadened her focus from stabilized assets to include value-add strategies, construction projects, and complicated real estate-based SBA financing for startups. Additionally, she has substantial relationships across all lending platforms, including those from investment banks, CMBS lenders, community banks, credit unions, private equity firms, insurance companies, private money lenders, and various funds. Daria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and a Master of Science in financial analysis and investment management from Saint Mary’s College of California. Caroline Guibert Chase practices real estate, development, and land use law, with an emphasis on representing real estate developers in the entitlement of residential, commercial, and institutional development projects. Caroline has a unique multidisciplinary background including architecture, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) consulting, urban planning, and zoning enforcement. She has excelled at helping clients navigate the complex local and state entitlement processes throughout the Bay Area.

Caroline has extensive experience with CEQA and has been involved in every step of the preparation of various CEQA documents, including the review of technical studies and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report (EIR)-required project objectives and alternatives. She is particularly well-versed in local and state historic resource issues, which often complicate the CEQA review process by triggering the need for an EIR.

Caroline’s involvement and passion for her practice are also evident outside of the firm. Caroline is on the San Francisco Housing Action Coalition (SFHAC) Board and Chair of the SFHAC Legislative Committee. As Chief Executive Officer for Related California's Northern California Affordable and Northwest Divisions, Ms. Silverberg is responsible for the strategic direction, overall management and daily operation of the company's over $3.5 billion affordable portfolio in Northern California and Oregon. She has been directly responsible for the growth of the affordable pipeline in Northern California and Oregon to over 5,000 units under construction and in pre-development.

Prior to joining Related California, Ms. Silverberg was Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at BRIDGE Housing Corporation where she was responsible for directing and overseeing their Northern California Division. She led the development and redevelopment of more than 8,000 affordable, mixed-income, mixed-use and transit-oriented housing units, including the acquisition and redevelopment of nearly 1,000 public housing units in San Francisco and Sacramento, the joint venture development of mixed-income residential units in Milpitas. She was also responsible for the capital aggregation and placement of equity and debt for their Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and non-LIHTC developments and has overseen the negotiation and placement of over $3 billion in project level debt and equity.

She is a recipient of the Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence and Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business awards by the San Francisco Business Times, and has been recognized twice as one of the most dynamic women in commercial real estate by BISNOW. Ms. Silverberg is the immediate past chair of the Board of Directors of the California Housing Consortium and was a co-chair of California State Treasurer Ma’s California Debt Limit Allocation Committee/Tax Credit Allocation Committee Working Group. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Bay Area Council Housing Policy Committee and is on the Housing Policy Committee of the San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR). She was appointed to the SF Housing Leadership Council, is a board member of the San Francisco Housing Action Coalition (SFHAC), a co-chair of the ULI San Francisco Local Product Council, and past president of the Board of Directors of the Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California. Ms. Silverberg is a faculty lecturer in the College of Environmental Design at the University of California, Berkeley where she teaches a graduate level methods class in project analysis.

Amy is a member of the Management Committee, chairs the U.S. Investment Committee for the firm's core, core plus and separate account clients, and co-chairs the U.S. Management Committee. Amy also leads BGO’s equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives globally and chairs the firm’s EDI Leadership Council.

Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Amy was a managing director and head of real estate investing for the western U.S. at Morgan Stanley, where she was an Investment Committee member, and built the real estate investment management business in San Francisco. Isis Spinola-Schwartz is a development executive with more than fifteen years

of experience in real estate development, land use planning, and project and

development management. Her experience includes the development of

commercial and residential projects, multi-family garden apartments,

university campus, and hotels. Her extensive Real Estate experience includes

operations and development management of more than sixty buildings in San

Francisco for Veritas Real Estate Investments, one of San Francisco’s largest

multi-family real estate development companies. More recently Isis worked

on conversions of existing housing stock into LIHTC residential units, adding

more than 600 dwelling units to the affordable housing stock in the San

Francisco Bay Area.

Isis specializes in the development of processes that ensure the seamless

implementation of real estate projects. Whether adding Additional Dwelling

Units to historic buildings in urban settings, or bringing together diverse

disciplines to implement complex urban infill residential and commercial

projects, Isis uses her extensive experience and business contacts to develop

and nurture great relationships that ensure seamless implementation from

entitlements, construction, and project delivery. Claire utilizes her expertise in contract negotiation,

Elaine Breeze leads all community development activities for SummerHill Apartment Communities in the Bay Area. As Senior Vice President of Development, she oversees new community development, including land planning, land acquisition due diligence, architecture and design, budgeting, community engagement, and securing all necessary entitlement approvals.

Ms. Breeze has been affiliated with the Marcus & Millichap companies since 1988, starting as a research analyst with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage. With affiliate SummerHill Homes until 2008, as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, she oversaw the development of award- winning single family and multifamily for-sale projects throughout the Bay Area. From 1989 to 1990, she was an analyst and project coordinator for Essex Property Company specializing in multi-family investment real estate and retail shopping center joint ventures.

Ms. Breeze graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. She completed post-graduate studies in Real Estate and Architecture at U.C. Berkeley and in Construction Practices at San Jose State University. Samidha Thakral is a vice president and investment officer at Prologis. She is responsible for Capital Deployment and investment activities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to joining Prologis in 2021, Samidha spent 14 years collectively at Hines, EQR and Lendlease where she led the ground-up development and acquisition of projects valued at over $5 billion including 1,400 apartment units, 6 million square feet of office and over 800 condominium units. Having lived and worked in three different countries on multiple real estate product types, she brings a unique perspective. Ms. Kleiman is responsible for overall Operations of the Company, which includes Portfolio, Asset and Property Management; Technology; Data Analytics and Research; Redevelopment and Resource Management; and Commercial Departments. Ms. Kleiman served as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2020 and was responsible for the overall transaction management for the $16 billion merger with BRE Properties. She joined Essex in 2009 to manage the Private Equity platform and grew the business from $750 million to $3 billion in gross assets. Prior to joining Essex, Ms. Kleiman's real estate career focused primarily on institutional investment management and investment banking. As a Senior Equity Analyst and Vice President of Investor Relations at Security Capital, she was responsible for over $2 billion of the firm's REIT investments and all client communications. As a Vice President with J.P. Morgan Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking Group, she advised senior management and boards in strategic business platforms and capital markets transactions. Ms. Kleiman began her career in real estate development management in 1991. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University, and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management. She is a member of NAREIT and NMHC.

Katie Ullman currently leads Stockbridge’s rapidly growing Supply Chain Infrastructure (SCI) asset management platform, comprising over 100 industrial assets and $2 billion in AUM, overseeing several team members and JV partners. She also leads Stockbridge’s proptech team, evaluating potential solutions and developing a proprietary initial evaluation criteria. Previously, she led Stockbridge’s West Coast Multifamily asset management team, overseeing development and operating properties.

Katie has nearly 20 years of real estate experience across a range of roles, asset classes, and regions, working at large firms in New York and San Francisco, including: PGIM, Madison International Realty, Tishman Speyer, Citigroup, and JPMorgan. She is a on the ULI Commercial Product Council and NAIOP’s Diversity & Inclusion Board, and was previously a founding member of PWiRE (Penn Women in Real Estate), CREW SF Board Member, and Northern California Women of Influence 2017 Rising Star.

Katie is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in real estate and finance.

Katie also loves mentoring and volunteering, skiing, college football, and outdoor adventures with her family, including three kids!

Jessica brings more than 15 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance to her role as CEO. Her responsibilities include providing direction and control to the financial and accounting functions of the company; participating in the formation and implementation of financial plans and company policy; furnishing information for planning and control; and providing general financial, accounting and management decisions. As a member of the executive team, she provides the detailed financial analyses that enable strategic and data-driven decision making.

Jessica believes that construction is a great industry for accounting professionals to build their careers. “This industry is always in need of experienced professionals who understand and can strategically manage construction financials,” said Jessica. “Further, project accountants who can effectively support and partner with their Operations counterparts to manage projects are an invaluable resource.” Jessica looks forward to mentoring those who are in pursuit of growing their careers in the construction industry, particularly those who are interested in a CPA career path as an experienced professional, rather than directly out of school.

Jessica enjoys traveling and recently spent time in Southeast Asia. She also takes an annual trip to Croatia to visit with her husband’s family. Next up on her travel bucket list are South America and Northern Europe.

As the founding principal of woman and minority-owned, Element Structural

Engineers, Inc, Thuy Fontelera is engineering the change she wants to see

with a commitment to building a firm that is community and DEIB driven.

She is focused on transforming what leadership looks like for not only the

A/E/C industry but for other industries as a whole. For over 10 years, Thuy and

her team continue to demonstrate high-caliber experience by providing

structural design and engineering services for a variety of project types that

include commercial, residential, healthcare, and education, throughout the

Bay Area and greater Bay Area.

Thuy understands the importance and responsibility in growing our future

pipeline of engineers.  She volunteers her time to Mission Valley ROP's in

Fremont to their high school engineering program as an Industry Advisor

and recently started an engineering club at Cristo Rey De La Salle in Oakland.

Thuy continues to be motivated by the energy and enthusiasm of her team

and encourages them to volunteer, continue their education, and lead with

empathy.  She believes that by building stronger people, one can build

stronger communities, which in turn builds stronger buildings.

As a recognized architectural and design professional, Aida brings her creative thinking and organizational skills to synthesize client needs into specialized design strategies and solutions. She leads the planning, design and implementation of work experiences across a variety of commercial and educational interiors projects from design development through construction.

Aida is an industry thought leader on workplace. She has spoken about a variety of design related topics including Neurodiversity; technology’s impact on the workplace; space fusion and the rise of the human factor for IFMA and is an active member of the AIA and CoreNet Global.

As the President for CORE Builders, Chrissie Davis oversees all projects currently under construction and works closely with clients in preconstruction. She prides herself in leading the CORE team to provide quality products and services to all clients. Chrissie has helped grow CORE Builders into a company with $100M annual revenue, building projects for third party clients and in-house.

Chrissie Davis has been building in Southern and Northern California since 2000. She has a Civil Engineering Degree from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s Degree in Construction Engineering Management from Stanford. She started her career working for commercial builders, but found a home in multi-family construction mostly in the South Bay. Chrissie is a LEED AP and has a passion for giving back to the community. She spent a year dedicating herself to community service in AmeriCorps*NCCC stationed in Washington D.C.

As Director of KPF's San Francisco office, Angela leads KPF’s on-the-ground project coordination on the west coast, meeting regularly with clients to provide seamless communication and a streamlined approach to project management.

With more than 20 years of architecture experience, Angela has led a variety of projects in terms of both type and scale, ranging from singular residential, office, retail and institutional buildings to large-scale, mixed-program, multi-building complexes.

Over the course of her career, Angela has developed particular expertise working in California and along the west coast of the United States. Through

her deep and diverse experience, she has developed a design sensibility that is highly program-driven and culturally-based.

Her interest in multidisciplinary collaboration to create synthesized architectural projects is key to her approach. Angela is a deep believer in the integration of architecture, structure, sustainability, and planning for a human-scaled environment, and these guiding principles are behind her design and management of numerous award-winning and prominent projects, such as Platform 16 and South Almaden Boulevard in San Jose and 5M Soma, 415 Natoma and 10 South Van Ness in San Francisco.

Angela’s work consistently provides clients with highly aspirational designs while meeting their objectives on time and on budget. Dedicated to understanding her clients’ underlying needs, she carefully guides the process from programming and entitlements to final design and construction. Susan McCarthy is a Director with Silicon Valley Bank’s Private Bank which is continuing its integration of

Boston Private. She specializes in Commercial Real Estate and Construction Lending. Susan has 35 years

of banking experience after starting her 1 st banking job on Black Monday, October 1987. Previously with

Redwood Bank, Peninsula Bank (part of Greater Bay Bancorp) and Borel/Boston Private, Susan has

focused on infill construction projects, CRE and closely held business lending. Originally from the

Garden State, she escaped summer and winter by relocating to Humboldt State for college. Currently in

her 29 th year of volunteer work as a Citizen Scientist with The Greater Farallones National Marine

Sanctuary Beach Watch program on a longitudinal study. Other volunteer work includes beach

cleanups, stocking food pantries, Habitat for Humanity and Family House special projects. Susan loves

hiking, beach combing, kayaking, and paddle boarding and hopes to get back into more international

travel and diving again soon.

La Shelle Dozier is Executive Director of the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, serving in this capacity since 2009. She is the longest tenured Executive Director for SHRA since the Joint Powers Agency was formed in 1981. Ms. Dozier is responsible for administering the Agency’s FY 2022 budget of $347 million and a workforce of over 300 employees.

As Executive Director, Ms. Dozier oversees community development and revitalization strategies in the City and County of Sacramento, as well as the provision of housing for low income residents using a wide variety of programs and financing mechanisms. Ms. Dozier leads the Agency’s management of a $325 million affordable housing portfolio. Over the past 20 years, SHRA has assisted in the production of more than 22,800 units of affordable housing through the application of various financing tools.

Ms. Dozier is also responsible for the Agency’s function as the Housing Authority for the City and County of Sacramento which administers federally funded rental assistance programs to provide safe, decent housing that serves more than 14,000 low income families.

With international experience leading corporate real estate teams in the film, fashion and the technology sectors, notably previously at Yahoo! for 7 years and now at Twitter as the Global Head of Real Estate. She has been at Twitter for the last 5 years joining them to lead their EMEA and APAC Real Estate & Workplace teams in 2013 moving to San Francisco in 2014 to head up their Design & Construction team during a period of explosive growth which ultimately led to her assuming leadership of their entire global Real Estate & Workplace team in March of 2016. Tracy experience covers the entire gambit of corporate real estate including the design and project management of various types of spaces from sound studios for Ridley Scott whilst at Ascent Media Group, to showroom space for Calvin Klein to award winning innovative and collaborative office spaces for Yahoo! and Twitter. Tracy specializes interweaving company culture within the physical space and raising the profile of corporate real estate teams within the business. Tracy’s philosophy is that of #oneteam meaning that CRE must be seen as part of the business as a trusted and strategic business partner with a seat at the decision making table to be truly effective and impactful.
