Allie is responsible for setting and implementing Virgin Hotels’ global growth strategy. Allie’s primary responsibilities include identifying properties in key markets, and structuring transactions that work for Virgin Hotels and our Owner/Developer partners. Prior to joining Virgin, Allie worked on acquisitions, dispositions and asset management at Sunstone Hotel Investors where she was on a team that completed over $1 billion of hotel transactions. Allie was previously a partner at HMR Analytics, a hospitality asset management firm based in California, and a consultant with PKF Consulting, one of the top advisory services firms in the hospitality industry. Other experiences include hotel operations with Interstate Hotels and Resorts and spa development at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Allie is a graduate of Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration where she received the Dean’s Baccalaureate Service Award, is a guest lecturer at Cornell Hotel School Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship, Columbia University and NYU, was named Southern California Real Estate “Woman of Influence” in 2007, and is the co-chair of the Dean’s Young Advisory Board for Cornell Hotel School.

Tiffany Cooper is the Senior Vice President, Development for the Americas for The Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group. Tiffany is responsible for delivering growth to The Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group by expanding the development pipeline and footprint for the Americas via quality hotel projects to include conversions, adaptive reuse and new build opportunities. Tiffany is a hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience, having begun her career working in sales & marketing/hotel operations for The Kimpton Group in early 1995. Tiffany joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 1999 and continued working in operations, leading sales teams for various Starwood properties until 2005 when she transitioned to the Real Estate Development Group for Starwood. During this time, Tiffany extensively grew Starwood’s portfolio, more than doubling the footprint throughout the Western Region. In September, 2016, following the Marriott acquisition of Starwood, Tiffany joined the Marriott International development team, focused on full service and luxury hotel development until moving to Kimpton in April 2018.

David Hart is the President and CEO of Steinberg Hart, an international Architecture, Interiors, and Planning firm headquartered in Los Angeles. Founded in 1953, the firm’s seven offices focus on higher education, urban mixed-use residential, performing and visual arts, hospitality, government, civic and commercial projects. David developed Steinberg Hart’s reputation as a leader in Higher Education through the design of inspirational, sustainable projects that shape the way students learn and socialize for institutions such as Stanford, UCLA, and USC. He now leads the firm’s large-scale mixed-use practice in urban cores, with projects such as Los Angeles’ Vision on Wilshire and San Jose’s Miro Towers. Leveraging his experience working with public agencies, institutions, builders, and developers, he works to advance complex public-private-partnership projects with an emphasis on responsible density, affordability, community impact and value creation for clients. As a thought leader, David speaks regularly at conferences both nationally and locally, including Greenbuild, P3C, SCUP, Educause, and NACUBO, and he has been tapped by publications such as GlobeSt, Monocle, the Silicon Valley Business Journal, and Bloomberg CityLab for his insights on design and urban issues of our time. David serves on the ULI Urban Revitalization Council, the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics Policy Advisory Board at the University of California at Berkeley, the Los Angeles Business Council Board of Directors, and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group.

Stacie Goeddel is a California real estate attorney who represents owners, lenders and hotel brands on a wide range of mixed‐use developments. She advises on urban, residential, resort and hotel projects throughout the United States and in foreign jurisdictions, with a focus on the Caribbean and Latin American regions. Ms. Goeddel is well-versed in all phases of real estate projects, including acquisition and disposition, finance, creation and implementation of mixed‐use legal structures, preparation of project governing and management documents, residential sale documents and registrations, and post‐completion operations. She has extensive experience counseling hotel operators and owners on branded residential projects, including those with whole‐ownership, condominium hotel, and timeshare and vacation club components. She prepares master development and sub‐development governing documents, such as CC&Rs, reciprocal easement agreements, shared facilities agreements, cost-sharing agreements, and use and access agreements, as well as timeshare, fractional share and residence club project governing documentation, management agreements, residential purchase agreements and related sale documentation, and rental program agreements. Ms. Goeddel also assists with structuring and implementing cost-allocation methodologies for mixed-use projects.  In connection with branded developments, Ms. Goeddel advises clients on licensing issues and brand protection. She also counsels on compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements in the registration, sale and marketing of residential projects, including compliance with federal securities laws. Once mixed-use developments have been completed, Ms. Goeddel guides clients on their ongoing operation and management. In addition to counseling real estate owners and lenders, Ms. Goeddel represents financial institutions and borrowers in commercial real property and asset-based financing transactions, including the representation of lenders in connection with distressed resort and residential developments. She is experienced in the acquisition and sale of commercial real estate, with a focus in hospitality and in general corporate matters related to the acquisition, financing, development and management of commercial real property. At Holland & Knight, Ms. Goeddel serves on the Hiring Committee for the San Francisco office and is an active member of the firm's Pro Bono Committee. Mike Depatie is a Managing Partner of KHP Capital Partners, with direct responsibility for investment and capital raising activities. Previously, Mike served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and was also a member of Kimpton’s Board of Directors from 2003 to January 2015. Under Mike’s leadership, Kimpton tripled its system revenues to become the world’s largest developer and operator of boutique hotels in the U.S., and was named to FORTUNE magazine’s list of 100 Best Companies to Work For six times, ranking 11th in 2015.

Stephen Yang is the managing member and co-founder of Yang Capital LLC. Prior to forming Yang Capital, he was a founding managing principal of Walnut Hill Capital LLC ("Walnut Hill") where he acquired, owned and operated a diverse real estate portfolio in New York and San Francisco. He served as principal and managing director at Square Mile Capital Management ("Square Mile") as well as vice president at Deutsche Bank. Stephen graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Finance and Technology Management and received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Rich Brand is the firm’s San Francisco Managing Partner and head of the Sports practice group. He focuses on sports law, real estate and corporate transactions, e-commerce, hospitality and leisure, and partnership and corporate law. Rich is recognized as a leading sports attorney by Chambers USA and Legal 500 and as a leading real estate attorney by Best Lawyers. As noted by Chambers USA, “he is highly regarded for his expertise in representing both sellers and purchasers of sports teams” and “he brings tons of experience, and good business sense to the deal table.” Rich speaks extensively on many aspects of sports, real estate and hospitality law at major industry conferences. He is frequently featured on the Yes Network’s Forbes SportsMoney sports talk show and has appeared on CNN, Fox Sports and other national video/television/radio programs. Rich is also an adjunct professor at Stanford Law School and UC Berkeley School of Law, where he leads seminars on sports law transactions. Rich regularly guest lectures at prominent undergraduate and graduate Sports Administration programs.

Bill Strang serves as President of the Americas’ Operations for TOTO USA and Chairman of TOTO Mexico. In these capacities, he is responsible for all of TOTO’s North American operations, including supply chain, design and development engineering, quality, ISO, environmental resource management, and management of TOTO’s five North American plants with 1.8 million sf under roof. Under Bill’s leadership, TOTO has received numerous awards and recognitions for its leadership in environmental resource conservation, including the U.S. EPA’s Water Efficiency Leadership award (TOTO is the only plumbing manufacturer so honored); former Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue’s Water Conservation Leadership award; the South face Sustainable Homebuilders’ Argon* award; the City of Atlanta’s Phoenix Award, and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s River Sustainability award. Recently, the Brookings Institution distinguished TOTO for its leadership in Clean Economy jobs creation.

As Founder and CEO of Synapse Development Group, Justin directs the continued growth and vision of the company, while overseeing all aspects of Synapse’s real estate investments. Prior to co-founding Synapse, Justin served as Assistant Vice President at Lehman Brothers, where he oversaw the work-out and repositioning of a 1,300-unit multi-family portfolio in New York City, as well as the foreclosure and restructuring of a large mixed-use development portfolio totaling 1.4 million square feet of development rights located in New York and Washington, D.C. At Lehman, Justin completed more than $75 million in construction projects, primarily in New York City. Justin began his career in real estate at Clarion Partners (formally ING Clarion), a global real estate investment management firm with $36 billion in assets under management. While at Clarion, Justin served as a Portfolio Analyst and was a member of the Lion Value Fund portfolio management team. Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and macroeconomics with honors from the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences at Bernard Baruch College (CUNY).

Kristy Davis is the Business Development Manager for Truebeck Construction. Truebeck Construction is a local, full-service general contractor specializing in technical building, complex projects, and interiors. Clients come to Truebeck when they have ambitious goals, and when they want certainty, predictable costs, and high-performance buildings. Truebeck builds it right the first time and delivers the best value. Before joining Truebeck, Kristy was the Structural Steel Specialist for the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) in the San Francisco market. And before joining AISC, she worked as a staff structural engineer for A/E firms in Chicago and Indianapolis.  Kristy has experience with all phases of design, from design development through construction administration.  She is a member of the CoreNet Northern California Chapter and CREW San Francisco. Kristy attended Purdue University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering, and Ball State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental design.
