Ken has nearly 30 years of experience in the real estate industry developing multifamily, mixed use, retail, and office projects across the United States. He is responsible for the development of over three-thousand multifamily units in over a dozen projects and over 1M square feet of Class A office space.

Prior to joining TAC Ken was the Senior Director of Western National Group where he led the development of three significant and high-profile Southern California apartment projects totaling more than 900 units and over $600M in realized value. Prior to joining Western National, Ken was the Senior Vice President of LNR Property Corp (Starwood Capital Group) where he spent over eighteen years leading the company in its development of multiple

property types throughout the United States.

Ken received his BS in Finance from St John’s University in New York City and his JD from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP.

Prior to re-joining Apartment Management Consultants (AMC), Joel was an Asset Manager with D.R. Horton, where he oversaw assets and developments across multiple markets nationwide. During his

tenure, he contributed to the execution of a landmark $1.4 billion build-to-rent portfolio transaction, encompassing more than 40 communities and over 4,000 homesites. His career foundation was built during more than ten years with AMC, where he progressed into executive leadership and ultimately served as Vice President of Operations, directing large-scale portfolios and developing high performing teams across the country.

Joel is recognized for combining strategic vision with operational discipline, enabling organizations to navigate change, improve performance, and achieve long-term success. Patrick Lataitis

As Managing Director of the Southwest Region, Patrick is primarily responsible for the

oversight and sourcing of investments across all asset classes in Southern California,

Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Southern Nevada. He leads new business

generation across equity and debt strategies and directs all transaction structuring and

negotiation, market and property underwriting, due diligence, and closing for new

investments. He also advises on all major transactions made across Affinius portfolio

assets in his region, including decisions to develop, sell, and/or refinance. Prior to

joining Affinius in 2025, Patrick was a Senior Director in the Investment Group at

American Realty Advisors, where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, and

closing transactions in the western United States, as well as oversight the western

region investment team. During his ten years at American Realty Advisors, Patrick was

involved in more than $2.5 billion of closed transactions across a wide variety of asset

classes and strategies including development, renovation, conversion, and stabilized

acquisition. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Economics from the University of California,

Santa Barbara and a Master of Finance from the University of Southern California,

where he is a frequent guest lecturer in the graduate real estate and business schools.

He is a Board Member of the California Business Properties Association, a member of

the NAIOP Development and Transactions Forum, and an active member of ULI.

Brett Montgomery

Brett Montgomery serves as Senior Vice President within TCC’s San Diego office. Brett primarily focuses on sourcing and overseeing new multifamily development opportunities across San Diego, Orange County, and Inland Empire markets for High Street Residential, the company’s multifamily subsidiary. He has more than a decade of experience working in multifamily development and investment throughout Southern California.

Prior to joining TCC, Brett was director of development at Alliance Residential where he sourced development opportunities with closed-land valuations of over $87 million and acquired, entitled, permitted, capitalized, constructed and/or disposed of nearly 4,000 multifamily units throughout Southern California. He previously held roles with Fairfield Residential and The Conam Group of Companies.

Sanford Coggins

Sanford's 25 years of experience as an Investment Banker and Advisor, combines a professional history of

both securities training and real estate underwriting. Founding his own Registered Investment Advisory

(RIA) firm in 2004, Sanford brings a unique background to commercial real estate as both a broker and

principal. He is one of few professionals who has successfully transitioned from being an RIA to a Sponsor of

a Commercial Real Estate Private Equity Fund.

• His professional career started as a commercial loan officer underwriting loans for real estate and energy-

related credits in one of Texas’ largest commercial banks.

• As a commercial real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap, and a principal in his own deals, Coggins has

completed over $500 million in commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions.

• While Vice President of Wealth Management Advisory at Merrill Lynch for 16 years, Sanford managed

opportunities for the region's ethnically diverse communities.

Since joining Paramount in March 2019, Jon has sourced more than $10 billion in properties for tax appeal, with concentrated experience in multifamily, office, retail, and hospitality assets. In 2020 alone, he sourced more than 125 hotel appeals across California.

Jon currently serves as Paramount’s Executive Vice President and Broker, bringing 40 years of commercial real estate finance, investment management, and problem-solving experience to the firm. As the founder of Legacy Realty Capital, he spent more than 30 years managing troubled real estate loans and properties, executing asset turnarounds, and helping clients navigate challenging market conditions through four economic recessions.

A thoughtful listener and persistent advocate, Jon has built his career around identifying the underlying issues affecting real estate performance and developing practical solutions for his clients. Sean has served as a top local and state government leader in successive community development roles in the cities of New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and in Sacramento for the State of California.

Prior to joining Community HousingWorks in 2020, Sean was the Assistant General Manager at the Los Angeles Housing + Community Investment Department where he was responsible for leading its housing production efforts and directing the operations of its Housing Development Bureau. The Bureau facilitates the financing of housing development projects with its business and community partners, leveraging its resources to the maximum benefit of the City’s residents and neighborhoods.

Sean was formerly the Managing Director with Hunt Mortgage Group where he consulted on the acquisition, development, financing and execution of affordable housing development transactions, and originated new debt and equity executions. He also most notably served as the Executive Director of the California Debt Allocation Committee (CDLAC) from 2009-2015, administering the $3.8 Billion private activity bond program for California. Sean brings additional private sector experience from his time with Fannie Mae; then providing housing development and public financing resources across the Western United States. Throughout his career he has developed both new project financing structures (especially for affordable housing preservation), as well as designed and implemented billion dollar governmental programs with the goal of building better communities for those in greatest need. Sean holds both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Cornell University, and is a member of the invitation-only Lambda Alpha International Society for Land Economics.

Kursat Misirlioglu

Kursat is an affordable housing industry veteran having spent the last 17 years overseeing the acquisition, predevelopment, development, construction, operations, and asset management of a multitude of low-income affordable housing projects, including but not limited to 4% or 9% tax credit, large-family, senior, and special needs.

He is an expert in all applicable low-income housing funding programs, local, state and federal programs, including, but not limited to, MHP, AHSC, VHHP, AHP, USDA 514, NPLH, IHTF, and IIG. Prior to founding MirKa, he served as the Director of Project Finance at one of the nation’s leading affordable housing developers, Chelsea Investment Corporation.

In addition to his expertise in project and financial engineering and planning, Mr. Misirlioglu has taken numerous projects from conception to completion, assembling and managing multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, general contractors, attorneys, appraisers, lenders, tax credit equity investors, property managers, supportive service providers, capital providers, community-oriented non-profit organizations, and property management companies. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting Finance at Bosphorus University (Robert College) and his Master of Science in Business Administration at San Diego State University and holds a Certificate of Economic Development Finance Professional (CEDFP)

Mary Jane Jagodzinski

Mary Jane Jagodzinski joined BRIDGE Housing as Senior Vice President of Development in July 2023. She is responsible for leading real estate development in Southern California and Washington.

In her 19-year career in affordable housing development with Community HousingWorks, Ms. Jagodzinski served as Senior Vice President and led development and acquisition of 3,400 affordable apartments, expanding the company’s footprint across California and into Texas. Her developments were nationally recognized for innovation in sustainability, design, and finance, including awards such as a ULI Award of Excellence and a Novogradac award for Innovative HUD Finance.

Ms. Jagodzinski received her B.A. in Economics from California State University, Sacramento, and her MBA from the Harvard Business School. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego Housing Federation, where she previously served as Board President; and is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and serves on the Urban Revitalization national product council.

Prior to forming Hub & Spoke Communities, Alexander worked for a developer

that built several mid-rise residential projects in the Miami Arts and

Entertainment District and Marcus & Millichap, where he specialized in the

Timothy M. Hutter is a partner in our San Diego office, where he practices in the firm's Litigation and Land Use groups. Tim's practice focuses primarily on business and real estate disputes, including contract, construction, joint venture, entitlement, land use and commercial landlord/tenant litigation. Many of his projects and cases involve residential and mixed-use projects, and several invoke California's density bonus law to incorporate and develop affordable housing. Tim also handles cases on appeal, and has successfully represented clients in the California Court of Appeal and the California Supreme Court.
