As Principal and Founder of REEP Equity, established in 2012, Arleen Garza

spearheads acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives for the company. Under her

leadership, REEP Equity has acquired underperforming multifamily properties and

implemented value-add improvements to maximize returns for investors.

In 2017, she also founded REEP Residential, a real estate management company that

currently oversees REEP's 23 properties in the Texas triangle. Her mission remains

focused on identifying lucrative opportunities for investors. With acquisitions exceeding

$730 million and 6,000 units, she prioritizes excellence in operations and investor

relations.

Prior to venturing into real estate, Arleen enjoyed a distinguished career in the financial

services sector. She has held several pivotal roles, pioneering one of the first Hispanic

marketing programs for a national bank, managing retail bank branches, and managing

an International Private Banking department. As a best-selling Amazon real estate

author, she is a highly sought after through leader and a frequent guest speaker at real

estate investing events and on podcasts, including hosting her own, Empowered

Investing with Leading Ladies.

Arleen is passionate about focusing on the residents, making an impact in the

communities she serves, educating others on the strong passive returns and ways to

build wealth through investing in multifamily real estate.

David Lynd joined LYND in 1997 where he served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for 16 years. During this time Mr. Lynd oversaw the collection of $250 million in annual rent collections which span across the country in 15 states and 50 different metros. Mr. Lynd has also acquired over $2.8 billion in total real estate value. As a Co-founder of the acquisition company known as Lynd Residential Properties, Mr. Lynd led joint ventures into both commercial management and the hospitality sector. This resulted in acquiring 50% of the Easton Group in 2007 which launched LYND to becoming the 7th largest manager of office and industrial space in Miami (7 million square feet). In 2009, the BC LYND Company was established. As one of its founders, Mr. Lynd created a hospitality group which currently operates 12 luxury hotels. Mr. Lynd received his Bachelors in Administration from Southern Methodist University and holds a CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, as well as, the CAPS designation from the National Apartment Association. Mr. Lynd also Co-founder LYND Development Partners who earned the prestigious “High-Rise of the Year” award from Multifamily Executive for their development project EnV in Chicago. Other impressive high- rise assets include The Bowie Austin and Joule Denver. Accepting his new role as CEO for LYND Opportunity Partners in 2016, Mr. Lynd leads a very skilled investment team that searches for and invests in opportunistic real estate transactions throughout the United States. LYND Opportunity Partners also serves as the investment advisor to American Veterans Housing CORP. This is a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing Veterans with affordable housing. Mr. Lynd has been the driving force for unit growth at LYND. Increasing the unit count from 1,100 units to over 34,000 units to date. This ranks LYND as the 34th largest property management group in the United States. In addition to his role as CEO, Mr. Lynd has committed 19 years to his real estate career. He has a vast understanding of all operational tasks needed to manage and operate real estate successfully.

Dennis McDaniel has been dedicated to value creation in investment real estate for over 30 years. Since 2008, McDaniel, individually and with private and institutional partners, has concentrated on: urban infill sites—repurposing, entitling, and revitalizing buildings and land in Austin and San Antonio. Two master planned land developments in the Austin growth corridors. In 1985 Mr. McDaniel founded Austin Fairchild Management Company, LLC as a real estate investment, development, and management company. In 1988 Mr. McDaniel co–founded Merit Texas Properties, LLC, a regional real estate investment and management company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with properties in Texas and Oklahoma. Serving as President of Merit Texas Properties, AMO, Mr. McDaniel created the property management company and directed the acquisition, development, rehabilitation, and disposition of approximately 5,000 apartment units and 4,000,000 square feet of office and light industrial properties. In 1998, Merit Texas began developing new apartment communities in Texas and Oklahoma. Mr. McDaniel relocated to Austin in 1999, acquired the Littlefield and Scarbrough Buildings at Sixth and Congress with Merit Texas and became active in Austin civic and cultural activities. By 2008, Mr. McDaniel had sold all the apartment communities and all but two of the commercial properties sponsored by Merit Texas. Mr. McDaniel’s education includes a B.S. in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He spent four years with the United States Army, attaining the rank of Captain. Mr. McDaniel has three grown children and lives in Austin with his wife, Jill.

David Nisivoccia

President & CEO

San Antonio Housing Authority

As President and CEO of the San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA), David Nisivoccia is responsible for the oversight and operation of the largest public housing authority in the State of Texas and one of the largest in the nation.

Nisivoccia is successfully leading a number of SAHA’s community investments in the planning and implementation phases including the Victoria Commons, an $82 million, multi-phase, mixed-income community near San Antonio’s downtown; and the Wheatley Choice Neighborhood Initiative, in collaboration with the Eastside Promise Neighborhood, to revitalize the 248-unit Wheatley Courts public housing property and surrounding area - the housing phases alone estimate $97.8 million.

Nisivoccia oversees a workforce of more than 525 SAHA employees, an annual budget of $186 million and assets valued at $500 million.

Originally hired as SAHA's Chief Operating Officer, Nisivoccia has more than 20 years of executive and senior management experience in affordable housing and has overseen the Agency's housing and related operations, including Public Housing, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Mixed-Income Housing, and Community Safety and Security programs.

Prior to joining SAHA, Nisivoccia served in positions with the housing authorities of Fairfax County, Virginia; Clearwater, Florida; Tampa, Florida; and Fort Pierce, Florida, where he served as executive director and supervised the economic turnaround of the agency by expanding the agency's affordable housing portfolio, and realigning the capital program strategy to improve efficiency. Nisivoccia has a Bachelor of Science degree in public administration from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey.

Scott joined Northmarq in May 2020 to expand the company’s Investment Sales platform across Texas. He focuses on establishing and maintaining client relationships, and providing advisory, transactional, debt structures and equity sourcing services to multifamily owners and developers. He is part of the company’s Built-to-Rent and Institutional Advisory practice groups.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Scott was a Managing Director and Team Lead at Jones Lang LaSalle for six years, and a Senior Director and senior executive over central Texas for Institutional Property Advisors, a Marcus and Millichap company, for 12 years. During the last 18 years, Scott’s direct transactional and oversight experience exceeds $7 billion. With more than 50,000 apartment units sold, Scott is recognized as a market expert and is frequently called upon to speak or provide commentary at real estate conferences and in media outlets. In addition, Scott serves as an advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Beige Book publication.

In addition to his multifamily brokerage experience, Scott served as the regional manager for two of Marcus & Millichap’s flagship offices in Los Angeles and Encino California, and was the Western United States Director for Special Asset Services where he was charged with supporting more than 300 senior agents and creating direct client relationships with many of the nation’s largest financial institutions and servicers.
