Mr. Walsh is Chief Operating Office and Principal with Rugby Realty Co., Inc. He manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Pittsburgh Portfolio. He joined Rugby in 2003 after a successful career developing CVS/pharmacy drug stores across the country for Armstrong Development, headquartered in Pittsburgh. Born and raised in Pittsburgh he has a Masters in Public Policy and Management with a concentration in Urban and Regional Economic Development from Carnegie Mellon University.

Michael Polite brings expertise honed over more than three decades of developing affordable, mixed-income and market-rate housing in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. From 2019 through 2020, prior to joining Beacon, Michael was Chairman and CEO of Catalyst Communities LLC – an affordable housing development company created by Michael and Beacon Communities. From 2009 to 2019, he was Chairman and CEO of Ralph A Falbo, Inc., where he identified and led projects creating 968 units with total development costs of over $200 million; preserved a mix of 1,005 family and senior housing units financed with permanent sources totaling $143,000,000 through a mix of tax-exempt bond/4% tax credit equity, 9% tax credit equity and market rate debt; and consulted on the economic development of low-income areas, resulting in over $50 million of investment.

Carolyn is an architect, planner, urban designer, and expert in creating memorable, contextually relevant, and sustainable places focused on the human experience. As a Principal and Office Lead in Gensler’s Pittsburgh Office, Carolyn is responsible for leading major transportation and commercial work in the Western Pennsylvania region and beyond. For the past seven years, Carolyn has managed the design team for Pittsburgh International Airport’s Terminal Modernization Program, set to open this fall.

Pete Bianco is a Shareholder at Mosites Construction Company and President of the Building Division. Founded in 1959 by brothers Steve and Don Mosites, Mosites has been a household name in the Pittsburgh Construction and Real Estate Development market for seven decades. Pete occupies the leadership position recently held by his uncle, Dean Mosites, and originally held by his grandfather, Don. Pete brings more than 20 years of experience across all facets of the construction industry with a personal focus on commercial and industrial spaces, as well as higher education and liturgical work; overseeing cradle-to-grave project execution across a diverse portfolio throughout the Pittsburgh region. With a strong pulse on market conditions, project delivery, and industry trends, Pete brings a practical, real-world perspective to conversations surrounding development and construction. Having been raised in the trades, Pete is a LEED AP and holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Pete, his wife Laura, and their eight young children are Pittsburgh natives looking forward to all of the exciting things this region has to offer for generations to come.
