As Vice President of Real Estate Development,

Tyler leads the multifamily and senior living

development efforts for Ryan’s Southwest Region,

including strategic partnerships, joint ventures and

land acquisitions. He is a respected leader and

a strategic thinker who builds strong, productive

relationships across the real estate community.

A commercial real estate broker for 11 years at

Grubb&Ellis/Cassidy Turley, Tyler has significant

experience leasing and selling large, complex

real estate developments including office, retail,

residential and mixed-use assets. He aims to build

Ryan’s senior living and multifamily presence

throughout the Southwest with best-in-class

operators and partners.

Carrie Traetow serves as Executive Vice President of Operations for CA Senior Living. Carrie is

responsible for overseeing CA Senior Living’s operational platform. In this capacity, Carrie focuses on

daily operations management, delivering performance, operator relationships, strategic planning and

execution to deliver investor returns.

Previously, Carrie served as Chief Operating Officer of RCS Management, with complete oversight of the

senior living portfolio, leading as both owner/operator and third-party manager of assets. With 20 years’

experience in the Senior Living industry, Carrie has a national footprint and diverse background in

ground up construction, turnaround operations and acquisitions across the country, all driving superior

performance and exceeding investment forecasts.

Prior to RCS Management, Carrie held the position of Vice President of Operations with Enlivant,

supporting the operational turnaround of the 200+ community private equity funded organization.

Carrie worked cross-functionally with executive and field leaders to drive value through creation of

nationally branded sales and operations training programs, leading select pilot programs paving the way

for standardization and the development of a Memory Care platform to expand product offering, all

while exceeding investor expectations in all aspects of performance.

Carrie is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in

Health & Human Services.

Connie Wittich, the founding partner of Metropolitan Studio, brings more than twenty-five-year

experience in design, project development, and management. We arrive at business solutions

by working hand in hand with the management team, design professionals, and conducting

design workshops.

In Connie’s work for senior living projects, her consistent goal is to create timeless, innovative

environments that encourage active thinking, independence, adventure, interaction, and

socialization among its residents.

The most successful senior living projects combine the maximal engineering of a multitude of

easily accessible spaces with an environment that generates a high degree of excitement and

pride in both the residents and people who work there. The focus on wellness, hospitality,

culinary experience, creative venues, multi-functional spaces form the backdrop for new

experiences, friendships, and memorable events. Color, natural light, lighting design, use of

natural materials, and the arrangement of space are the basics that do have a significant impact

on peoples’ daily emotions and energy as you live, work and play in the environment over a

long period.

The intent to fully understand the owners’ business model, including life-cycle project costs,

contributes to the long term financial viability of a project along with a proven record of

producing designs that increase sales.

She played a significant role in the branding of the Erickson Retirement Communities during the

early years. She had a vital role in developing the corporate building standardization tools to

efficiently expand the large scale Erickson Retirement Communities across the country. She

currently assists companies to identify their path for senior living communities by creating

teams and mapping out strategies to expand upon clients’ visions.

She is a founding partner in Current IE, which provides turn-key solutions for the procurement

and installation of the interior product for hospitality and senior living communities.

Most recently the President and Chief Operating Officer for a Canadian-based real estate private equity group of companies where he directed the growth of the US operations from 2007 – 2016. In his role, Rob was involved with the management of approximately $4 billion in assets throughout North America including over 100,000 acres of land and over 25 active developments of all real estate asset types. Rob was an attorney with Heller Ehrman LP and later Wolfe Leinbach, P.S. Rob received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, his M.B.A. from European University (Barcelona, Spain), and his Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College. He also sits on the Board of Directors for First Place AZ, a non-profit organization ushering in a new era of housing and community development for individuals with autism and neuro-diverse abilities.

Claudia Whitehead is a program manager with Phoenix Community and Economic Development. Her specialty is siting and expanding bioscience, medical device and healthcare companies. Claudia was involved in the site selection Creighton University Medical School, the Wexford Science + Technology bio-innovation campus and shepherding bio and life science startups.

Randy Ray Richardson, M.D., has had 20 years’ experience as a pediatric radiologist,

educator and administrator primarily in the Phoenix metropolitan area. As an educator

he served as radiology program director for one year in 2006 at Maricopa medical

center and program director of the St Joseph’s radiology residency from 2007-2010. In

2011 he became the assistant Dean of medical education for Creighton university

school of medicine and a year later become the regional campus Dean in Phoenix.

Administratively he was academic chair of radiology at St Joseph’s Hospital for 10 years

until stepping down in July of 2018 to increase his focus on the Phoenix regional

campus expansion.

Dr. Richardson Earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of

Medicine in 1995 after graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish

Literature from Brigham Young University in 1991. After school Dr. Richardson

completed a radiology residency with the Air Force at David Grant Medical Center on

Travis Air Force base in 1999 and then completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in 2000.

Dr. Richardson has enjoyed success as a researcher in the field of pediatric cardiac

imaging and is the author of two pediatric cardiac imaging textbooks, more than 100

chapters in other major pediatric textbooks and many journal articles, online apps,

websites, presentations and lectures in the field of pediatric and cardiac imaging.

Dr Richardson has been recognized often for his expertise in pediatric radiology and

teaching. He has been recognized by Phoenix Magazine as one of the top physicians

(TopDocs) in pediatric radiology on 3 different occasions (2009, 2013 and 2015) and

named subspecialist of the year at St Joseph’s in 2008. He received the Golden apple

award in 2015 and the Gold Humanism award in 2017 from Creighton University School

of medicine and was named teacher of the year 8 out of the last 20 years by the

radiology residents.

Dr. Richardson has consistently tried to give service locally and abroad. He frequently

travels to Rocky Point Mexico to provide ultrasound exams for a community clinic and

has been part of humanitarian aid efforts to Turkey and Chile. In his local area in West

Mesa he serves as chair of the Just-Serve committee designed to promote local charity

involvement from the community. He also chairs the self-reliance committee in West

Mesa which provides 12 week courses on finding a better job, starting a business,

finance, and education. More than 600 people have completed these courses in the

last 3 years.

Dr. Richardson has been married for almost 30 years to Jennifer Montague Richardson

and has 6 children ranging in age from 10-26 years of age with two grand-daughters

and a grand-son on the way in November.

Amanda L. Houghton has served as our Executive Vice President – Asset Management since December 2011. From January 2011 to December 2011, Ms. Houghton served as our Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Finance. From January 2010 to January 2011, Ms. Houghton served as our Vice President of Asset Management and Finance. Ms. Houghton comes from a varied background with experience in asset and joint venture management, acquisitions, dispositions, and corporate cash modeling and valuation. From August 2006 to December 2009, Ms. Houghton served as the Manager of Joint Ventures for Glenborough LLC in San Mateo, California, where she actively managed over two million square feet of retail/office properties and 400 acres of development land. Prior to joining Glenborough, from August 2005 to August 2006, Ms. Houghton provided acquisitions, asset management, and disposition support in her position as Senior Analyst at ING Clarion in Boston, Massachusetts. Between July 2004 and August 2005, she served as a Senior Project Analyst for Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors in Irvine, California. Prior to Weyerhaeuser, Ms. Houghton participated in mergers and acquisitions structuring and valuation at RSM EquiCo in Costa Mesa, California and business and intangible asset valuation at Bernstein, Conklin & Balcombe in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Houghton received a B.B.A degree in Finance and a B.A. degree in Public Policy from Southern Methodist University. Ms. Houghton holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, was appointed to the NAIOP Medical and Life Sciences Forum and is a member of the CFA Institute and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).

Dave is a master relationship manager with an innate ability to keep a project team focused on the big picture as well as the bottom line. Clients know that with Dave they have a project leader who will guide them in the right direction, to achieve measurable outcomes.

Mr. Laky is the Founder and Principal of ARCHSOL, LLC. Throughout his professional career, Alex has played a vital role in integrating strategy into design. His passion for complex projects, technical challenges, and creative solutions developed into a firm specialized in healthcare and bringing solutions to clients.

As the Principal, Alex guides the firm and is responsible for its overall strategic direction. His professional acumen is recognized for his leadership, client focus, and mentorship. He is thankful to support various organizations in the communities we serve.

ARCHSOL is active in master planning, new construction, tenant improvement, and renovation projects. Complexity varies from single phase to multi-phase projects. Projects types include overall campus planning, administration office buildings, education centers, patient bed towers, cancer centers, parking garages, emergency departments, data centers, and other project types.
