As a founding partner, Mike Ebert has shaped the company’s successful development area in projects across the country since 1995. His keen insights and knowledge about the qualities that come together in a compelling property are an essential part of RED’s continued evolution as a preferred partner for national retailers, real estate investors and property owners. Among his many significant contributions to RED, Ebert led the groundbreaking public-private partnership with the City of Phoenix to develop CityScape, the high-profile, 1.2 million square-foot, mixed-use urban destination in downtown Phoenix that is a signature project for both the company and the city.

John Graham joined Sunbelt Holdings in 1982, became President in 1990, and assumed the role of Chairman of the Board in 2019. John’s background in asset management, development and real estate investment provides a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in the real estate field. Under John’s direction Sunbelt has become a dominant force, in both community affairs and real estate activities. John’s prior experience included The Koll Company in asset management and development from 1980- 1982 and Coldwell Banker in asset management and sales from 1978-1980.

Todd Taylor is the Development Director for Wood Partners in Arizona and Nevada. His responsibilities include Development, Finance and Asset Management.

Taylor started with Wood Partners in 2005, and has been involved in the development of over 4,000 units in Arizona and Nevada. Among these deals was Alta Phoenix Lofts, a 332-unit 9-story development, which ranked #1 in the 2009 Best of Phoenix Luxury Apartment list. The 2011 Phoenix Luxe List ranks three of Mr. Taylor’s deals among its top eight valley-wide. Phoenix Business Journal ranked Wood Partners Phoenix at #3 for Multifamily Commercial Real Estate Developers in 2015 and 2016. Additionally, Phoenix Business Journal’s the Book of Lists ranked Wood Partners Phoenix in the top 10 for Largest Phoenix Area CRE Developers.

Taylor’s multifamily experience covers a broad spectrum, including market-rate rental, mixed-use, condominium, student housing, age restricted, full-service independent living, and 80/20 affordable bond financed units.

Taylor completed his undergraduate studies at California State University Long Beach and holds an MBA (with a concentration in real estate finance) from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Prior to graduation, he played professional baseball with the Minnesota Twins organization.

Taylor is a member of the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (Southwest Chapter) and serves on the Board of Directors for Homeward Bound Arizona.

As CEO of P.B. Bell, Chapin leads the strategic planning and growth of the company and oversees all aspects of P.B. Bell, including development and property management. After serving as a commercial lending officer and vice president for National City Bank, Chapin joined P.B. Bell in 1993 and worked alongside his father, Founder Philip Bell, for 25 years. Over the years, Chapin has developed more than 6,300 units and acquired over 4,100 units. Chapin serves on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and Valley Partnership. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council, the UMOM Patrons Committee and the Arizona Multihousing Association. Chapin received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from University of Arizona and holds an Arizona real estate license.

An attorney by training, Mr. Sprague is a lifelong entrepreneur with a broad

portfolio of professional experience having served as president of Warwick & Co.,

Inc., his family’s private merchant and investment bank and co-managed the

formation of its cross-border acquisition fund with Nacional Financiera, Mexico’s

development bank, overseeing its Mexican manufacturing facilities. Sprague’s

real estate experience has been driven by involvement in and creation of

community involving properties in Portland, Oregon and the Phoenix regional

market. Currently, Mr. Sprague and his business partner John Hill of 35 years

operate a Habitat Metro, LLC, a development firm focused on infill multifamily

and hospitality projects in the Phoenix metro market.

Sprague has and continues to be an active member of numerous civic and

charitable boards, including the Roosevelt Action Association, Grand Avenue

Merchants Association, the Episcopal Habitat Coalition of Phoenix, and the

Urban Land Institute. He currently serves as the president of the Hance Park

Conservancy that is partnering with the City of Phoenix to redevelop the 32.5

acre Hance Park in Downtown Phoenix. Mr. Sprague holds a bachelors of

science degree in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris

Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

Brandon Harrington, senior vice president, delivers innovative capital to entrepreneurial and institutional clients. As the senior partner of the Harrington/Steffen team, Mr. Harrington is responsible for originating and structuring debt and equity opportunities nationwide. By leveraging life company, bank, CMBS, and private equity relationships, as well as Walker & Dunlop’s direct Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, CMBS and bridge lending capabilities, the Harrington/Steffen team is able to effectively source and structure capital to maximize their client’s returns. Marcia is keenly attuned to the multifamily market downtown Phoenix and has been involved in various capacities at promoting new development. Marcia Karasek is on the Commercial Team with Cambridge Properties. She is affiliated with Smart Pad Living, bringing a new, sustainable and commercially viable building technology to the Phoenix market and PhxPlaces, a mapping and calendaring application for placemaking and commercial real estate marketing.

Gary has over 20 years of finance, investment management, marketing, business operations, and consulting experience. At ViaWest, Gary leads the capital markets function and oversees the firm’s entry into new geographic and property-type markets. He previously managed the company's multi-family activities, overseeing the acquisition, conversion, and disposition of over 2,000 apartment units to condominiums for a national multifamily/condominium client. He earned his BA in Economics from Northwestern University, spending his Junior Year at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan. After working in marketing and sales strategy in Tokyo, Japan with Bridgestone Corporation, he returned to the US to earn his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Gary is fluent in Japanese and proficient in Spanish. Gary has been an active member with Urban Land Institute (ULI), currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Arizona District Council and

Chair of Small Scale Development Council – Gold (SSDC). He is also a member of the Arizona Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) He resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Julie and two sons, Zachary and Matthew.

Jeff Geyser is currently Co-Owner/Founder and President of Lawrence & Geyser Development Corp. (L&G). Since 1995, L & G has developed and re-developed almost 2 million square feet of commercial real estate in Arizona, California and Oklahoma. In addition, Jeff has been involved in purchasing over 25 bank owned and distressed retail properties since the end of 2009. The total value of these projects is over a quarter of a billion dollars. Geyser’s projects have included the South Mountain Plaza, the Village Shops, Central and Thomas Plaza, Central Station and the Historic My Florist Center in Phoenix and the Falls of Ocotillo and Downtown Ocotillo in Chandler (AZ), Tempe (AZ) Crossings, Euclid Plaza in San Diego (CA) and more recently, the Metro Marketplace in Phoenix. He is a life-long resident of Arizona and currently resides in Phoenix with his wife and two children. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and a law degree from Arizona State University. He is also a member of the President’s Club at ASU and has endowed the Geyser Family Scholarship at ASU which provides

financial aid to students from local high schools.

Jay Ramos is an accomplished real estate professional with experience in land acquisitions, financing and asset management. Jay serves as a Senior Director of Real Estate Development at Opus and is responsible for directing Multifamily development in Arizona. Jay began his career with UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles, California. Most recently, Jay held roles at Leon Capital Group and Mark-Taylor Residential. At Leon Capital Group Jay was responsible for seven multifamily projects totaling 1,100 units in various stages of development. While at Mark-Taylor Residential, Jay was responsible for strategic oversight and financial performance of a Class-A, multifamily apartment portfolio consisting of 2,200 units and a market value of $650M. Jay’s focus at Opus is pursuing and managing development opportunities from concept through occupancy and disposition. Jay is a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Desert Storm. Jay grew up in the Central Coast of California having received a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.

Phil Breidenbach is an Executive Vice President, Office Properties Solutions Group, with Colliers International. He has specialized in commercial real estate since joining Colliers in 1984. Phil represents both landlords and tenants and focuses on “life of the asset” landlord representation, tenant advocacy, site selection, corporate solutions, and acquisitions and dispositions. The Office Properties Solutions Group builds on the strengths of its members with a synergy not often found in today’s commercial real estate environment.
