As Managing Director of the Western Region for USAA Real Estate Company, Steve Ames is responsible for new business generation including identification, coordination and implementation of development and build-to-suit transactions. He also handles real estate acquisitions in California, Nevada and Arizona for the company. He is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition process including sourcing transactions, market and property underwriting, due diligence and closing. Over the past five years, Steve has assisted the company in executing office, industrial and land development transactions totaling more than $2.2 billion in value.

Mr. Anderson serves as a managing director and city leader responsible for new commercial and residential business opportunities that include new development, acquisition, management, and disposition within the Southwest Region of the United States. Anderson's responsibilities include business strategy, master planning, deal-structuring, contract negotiations, government relations and tenant relations.

Anderson holds a BS in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate from Arizona State University and master's degrees in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver.

Mike leverages over 30 years of well-rounded architectural and design experience to his role of President of DAVIS. He

is responsible for the leadership of a multi-dimensional architectural practice that is passionately committed to enriching

the human experience. Mike’s varied background allows him to provide both guidance and mentorship to staff, young and

experienced alike, in a wide variety of design milieus. Mike’s responsibilities range from writing and negotiating complex

performance contracts to promoting an unparalleled standard of excellence in the design of all of DAVIS’s architectural

endeavors, from small tenant improvements to large master planned communities. Having been a part of the evolution of

DAVIS since 1987 and having served in leadership roles in Phoenix, California and Austin, Texas offices, Mike has always

believed that seeing the ‘big-picture’ in development and architecture is critical in the genesis of every good project design.

And under the guidance of a seasoned team, excellence happens in the perfect storm that includes attention to the big

picture, attention to detail, and intense consideration of the Client’s needs.

Justin joined hardison/downey in 2018, with more than 20 years of construction experience.

He took over as President of h/d in January 2019. A graduate of Northern Arizona University

(NAU), Justin has a diverse project background ranging from alternative energy and public

works to criminal justice and high-end office and residential projects. Justin has tremendous

industry knowledge and insight, as well as marketing, sales, construction and operational

experience.

Along with being a graduate of the Arizona Builders Alliance Advanced Leadership Devel-

opment Program, Justin also serves on the NAU Student Advisory Board and has previously

served on the Executive Board of the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters and the

Federal Affairs Committee of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce.

Justin is a father of six and has been married to his wife, Kris, for seven years. In their free time

together, they enjoy watching their children participate in sports and cheer/dance, as well as

a good pick-up game of football, wiffle ball or basketball.

Molly brings over 15 years of experience to her role as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development and Market Leader for Ryan’s Southwest Region, in which she is responsible for the leadership of office, industrial, retail and healthcare real estate development teams and general business development efforts. She handles site selection and acquisition, municipal use permits and approvals, design and construction coordination, financial packaging and lease or sale negotiation, while working to mentor and cultivate a strong group of developers.

She excels at building strong relationships with customers and helping them to find intelligent, creative solutions that meet their business objectives. Molly is known not only for her delivery of high-profile development projects, but for her commitment to improving the community in which she works, shown through her philanthropic activity and active engagement within local and national real estate organizations.

Sintra Hoffman

Sintra Hoffman is the President and Chief Executive Officer of WESTMARC, representing

the West Valley of the Phoenix metro area. She previously served as Assistant Division

Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). Her professional background

includes 20 years of experience in local, state and federal government. Sintra lead ADOT’s

Office of Public Affairs which focused on building and sustaining relationships with leaders

in Arizona’s cities, towns, counties and business community. Prior to her time at ADOT, she

spent 10 years with the City of Surprise, serving as the Director of Intergovernmental

Relations and Deputy City Manager.

Sintra was recognized as by Arizona Business Magazine as one of the Most Influential

Women in 2016. Sintra has been recognized for her accomplishments in transportation

lobbying and problem solving. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration

and Masters of Administration in Public Administration.

Nicole advises clients acquiring, developing, leasing, managing and selling real property. Her experience includes

development agreements, site development, subdivision, master planning, land assemblage, and due diligence.

She has represented for-profit and nonprofit companies, regional and local developers, retailers and investors.

Her experience includes mixed-use projects, retail, industrial, office, resort, and condominium projects. She has

recently represented clients in connection with ultra-luxury resort-residential property development, downtown

mixed-use project redevelopment, creation of industrial parks and retail expansion campaigns.

Stanton Shafer serves as Chief Operations Officer. His role is primarily engaged in the company’s operations, focusing on the management of the company’s six million square foot portfolio of national and international properties, including 3,000 apartment units.

Shafer’s background includes 22 years as a successful Capital Markets broker with Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial, joining the company in 1989 when it was Grubb and Ellis. During those two decades he completed sales of nearly $1.5 billion in assets and was selected as the NAIOP-AZ Investment Broker of the Year. Prior to his career as a real estate broker, Shafer spent 10 years as a practicing real estate attorney. Stan’s education background includes an economics degree with distinction from Iowa State University and a Juris Doctors Degree, Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University.

David Norouzi is a principal of Fenix Development, a privately owned real-estate firm in Los Angeles. David graduated from USC with a Bachelor of Science in finance in 1986. David subsequently earned his Juris Doctorate from University of San Diego in 1989 (at the age of 23) and was admitted to the State Bar of California in the same year.

Prior to graduating from law school, David obtained his real-estate brokerage license in 1989. David is an active member of ICSC and ULI. He also holds a Development, Design and Construction certificate from ICSC.

David has been involved as a principal in real-estate development for over 30 years. David has successfully repositioned and developed commercial real-estate with an aggregate market value of approximately $150,000,000, and repositioned over $50,000,000 in commercial real-estate in the last 3 years.

Under David’s leadership, Fenix Development is currently developing and under construction of the first phase of The Watermark | Tempe, a mixed use project consisting of 265,000 square feet of office space, 44,000 square feet of high-end retail and restaurant space, and 360 luxury lakeside apartments.
