Why This Matters

What You’ll Learn:

Phoenix, once a victim to the Great Recession, is now known as one of the greatest comeback cities in the world. Forbes, Fortune and The New York Times have all pointed to this sunny desert metropolis as a rising star for entrepreneurship and technology. A champion of sustainability, workforce, and livability initiatives, Phoenix has truly become a valley of opportunity.

  • How is Phoenix keeping up with development as construction costs (particularly lumber, timber, and steel) are continuing to fluctuate? What are the expectations for the future?

  • How is Phoenix competing with other regions to bring corporate offices to the area? What unique perspectives are being implemented to bring a draw to the city?

  • What new office assets are on the rise in your respective neighborhoods that have surprised you?

  • Phoenix is known for being a hotspot for young professionals because quality of life is more affordable. What tenant amenities are being factored into design to incentivize residents/younger generations to move into the city?

  • What tools, trends and technology are being implemented into development plans as we continue within the pandemic?

  • As residents are returning to the office in today’s post-pandemic* environment, are we seeing any new neighborhoods piquing developer interests, and why?

  • What are the risks and challenges corporations may face building  in Phoenix post pandemic?

  • Phoenix is a leader in sustainability. How are initiatives like Global Cities impacting design and affecting building budgets?

How You’ll Do More Business:

Forward thinking design, data driven innovations, pro-work government policy, bigger labor pools, and higher quality of life affordability for young professionals are just some of the reasons corporate giants such as Facebook, Uber,  DoorDash, and Google are opening offices in metro Phoenix , and cashing in on opportunities.
