Dusty Eddy is a Vice President of Acquisitions for 29th Street Capital. Living in Phoenix, Mr. Eddy is the local market expert in charge of all multi-family acquisitions in Arizona as well as in Las Vegas, Nevada & San Diego, CA. He currently manages over 800, value-add, units across those markets.

Mr. Eddy has over 14 years of real estate investment, development and asset management experience in various property types including multi-family, retail and medical office. He has participated in transactions valued at more than $1.2 billion in that time. Immediately before joining 29th Street Capital, Mr. Eddy was the Acquisition Manager with Healthcare Trust of America where he closed $455 million in investments.

Mr. Eddy obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated magna cum laude. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he graduated with honors.

Arash Kashani is Director of Acquisitions for MG Properties, a vertically integrated real estate investment

and management company. Since joining the company in 2016, he has been involved with acquiring

over $9 billion in apartment communities totaling 30,000 units. During his career, he has been involved

with over $9.5 billion in acquisitions totaling 35,000 units. Prior to MG Properties, he held roles at other

private and public real estate investment companies. Mr. Kashani earned a Bachelor of Science Degree

in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern

California.

His ethical, honest, and involved leadership sets the tone for the Odyssey team’s commitment to forming deep, trusted relationships with investors and nurturing those relationships through consistent, detailed, and transparent communication.

Prior to founding Odyssey, Derek was an Executive Managing Director at Studley, a national commercial real estate brokerage firm, where he led the national mid-market real estate investment brokerage effort. He also served as a Senior Vice President at CBRE and Insignia ESG. Derek is a 1985 graduate of Princeton University.

Sean Murphy is responsible for selection, conducting financial, operational and market due diligence,

acquisition and entitlement of multifamily development sites in Phoenix.

Prior to joining Toll Brothers Apartment Living in 2020, Sean worked in an investment role with Alliance

Residential Company. Sean’s experience also includes serving as Vice President, Regional Asset Manager

and in Land Acquisition Manager at JPI Companies where he drove $760 million in development. Sean

began his career as an Acquisitions Officer at ConAm, a role where he participated in acquiring 3,200

units representing $450 million in multifamily assets.

Before his multifamily career, Sean was previously recognized as top-performing Police Officer in the

City of Phoenix. Sean earned a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University, an MBA from Thunderbird

School of Global Management and Master of Science in Real Estate from University of San Diego.

Zach Haptonstall was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Rise48 Equity and Rise48 Communities. Zach’s main responsibilities as CEO include overseeing all acquisitions, sourcing capital, and building strategic partnerships. He resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife Grace Haptonstall.

He Founded ZH Multifamily in 2018 and grew his portfolio to $35M. ZH Multifamily founded the organization, The Phoenix Multifamily Association “PMA” where Zach hosted 200+ members and held monthly speaking and networking events. In order to scale and add experts to the team, he retired ZH Multifamily and PMA in 2020 and Co-Founded Rise48 Equity.

Zach’s professional background includes Healthcare Sales and Administration. He is the former President and Co-Owner of a Hospice Organization in Phoenix with 110+ Employees and $9M+ Annual Revenue. He is also a former live television news anchor and sports reporter for Arizona PBS and co-hosted a show on Fox Sports Network Arizona.

Zach holds a Master of Business Administration from the Colangelo College of Business at Grand Canyon University, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. He attended Colorado Mesa University on a football Scholarship his Freshman Year of College.

Katherine's background includes over 12 years of experience leading and managing the interior design of multifamily projects from concept initiation through procurement and installation. She established Catalyst Interiors in 2018 with the goal of taking an innovative and integrative approach to design, working closely with developers and the project team to not only create a timeless hospitality-inspired product, but also to deliver on time, within budget, and in line with the needs and expectations of owner, operator, and end-user.

Presently, her team of talented designers are working on built-to-rent and multifamily projects that total in excess of 5,000 units just in the Valley alone.

While at Deloitte, he serviced clients such as real estate investment trusts, large manufacturing corporations, national healthcare providers, and other owners of large real estate portfolios. Mr. Robertson began his career with a real estate investment firm focusing on distressed and foreclosed residential properties in central Virginia. Titus Mathew is the Director of the City of Phoenix Housing Department. Titus has

worked for the City of Phoenix for 21 years spanning four City Departments. In his

newly appointed role, Titus oversees 126 full-time staff, 51 contract staff and an

operating budget of $113.5 million to provide housing programs to Phoenix residents.

The Housing Department facilitates public housing, Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers

(HCV), affordable rental apartments and single-family homes to more than 35,000 area

residents including housing for special populations inclusive of those experiencing

homelessness, homeless/disabled Veterans, human trafficking survivors and their

families. The Department also partners with non-profit and for-profit community

organizations on the preservation and development of affordable housing units. Titus

and his staff manage the City's Housing Phoenix Plan, which has a goal of creating or

preserving 50,000 homes by 2030 to address the housing shortage in Phoenix.

Titus began his career with Deloitte & Touche and has over 25 years of experience in

finance/accounting, operations and general management in the private sector and

municipal government.

Owen Metz

As a Senior Vice President and Project Partner with our Mountain West Region, Owen Metz is responsible for all facets of new project development, acquisition and financing. His daily responsibilities include leading new acquisition opportunities, determining project feasibility, overseeing design and construction, structuring partnerships and negotiating with lenders and investors. Since joining Dominium in 2006, Metz has worked on the acquisition, renovation and/or construction of numerous apartment communities across the country. He has also worked on 4 different historic adaptive-reuse developments. Further, he has been involved in Dominium becoming the replacement general partner on several distressed apartment communities. In aggregate Metz has helped add more than 6,000 apartment units to the Dominium portfolio since joining in 2006. Most recently, Metz played the lead role in the successful closing on the redevelopment of the Upper Post at Fort Snelling at Bdote, dubbed the Upper Post Flats. The Upper Post Flats is a long-term partnership with the State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to save 26 historic military buildings that were Minnesota’s very first National Historic Landmark. When completed the community will target the 191 apartment homes to military veterans and their families. Since taking on a production role with Dominium in 2013, Metz has closed on 24 properties totaling nearly 5,000 apartment homes at a development cost of more than $1 billion. Metz is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Madison School of Business with a BBA in both Real Estate and Finance. His professional affiliations include the UW Real Estate Alumni Association, Lambda Alpha International and the Urban Land Institute. Metz is a founding contributor to the Dominium Foundation, which contributes to important housing and social service organizations in the communities where Dominium operates.

Ruby Dhillon-Williams

Ruby Dhillon-Williams, J.D., began serving as Director of the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) in March 2025. She previously served as Deputy Director and, from 2020-2022, Assistant Deputy Director of Housing & Community Development for ADOH, overseeing Rental Development, Community Development & Revitalization, Special Needs Housing and Asset Management. Prior to that, she served as a rental programs administrator from 2010 to 2012.

In her current role, Ruby is responsible for ensuring affordable housing is available for all Arizonans. She oversees programs established to create, preserve, and invest in affordable housing statewide.

Through her process improvement expertise, Ruby played a key role in streamlining the federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) award procedure and eliminating duplicate processes and excess regulation. In 2022, this resulted in the most applications for affordable housing projects (33) in the history of Arizona, with an 80% increase in applications from rural Arizona communities and a record amount of LIHTC dollars ($30.1 million) awarded. She was also the agency lead in rolling out the State Tax Credit program within three months of Governor Ducey signing the legislation into law.

Ruby has more than 20 years of experience in public and private sector housing development and an extensive background in utilizing the LIHTC program. In addition to her previous service at ADOH, Ruby served as Vice President of Operations at Global Premier Development, Vice President of Acquisition at Alliant Capital, and Vice President of Development at Integrity Housing. She was also a co-founding partner of Newport Southwest, LLC, a development entity focused on the construction of LIHTC properties.

Ruby holds a Juris Doctorate from the American College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Southern California.

Passionate about design, technology, the environment, and creating places for communities to grow, Hannah focuses on bringing environmental and human sustainability to the forefront of design. In addition to being one of the first WELL Accredited Professionals in the country, a certification that signifies knowledge in human wellness in the built environment, she has actively worked to bring health and wellness into many projects through the WELL Building Standard and other wellness concepts. She has presented and published several works about the WELL Building Standard, multifamily housing, and technology. Jake’s career in the commercial HVAC and construction management fields started early. He grew up working for his father’s HVAC manufacturer representative firm in Dallas and later moved to an Account Executive role in 2000. With his creative strategies and passion for growth, Jake was named Vice President at Texas AirSystems in 2010. Prior to joining the TEAL team in February 2020, Jake immersed himself in a wide variety of vertical markets and trades as an independent strategic consultant for private equity firms investing in commercial HVAC and construction services, cementing the big-picture approaches and industry insight he brings to his relationships at TEAL.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jake acts as Fundraising Chair for the Texas Irish Cycling Team, which has donated over $1,000,000 to North Texas charities since its inception. In his free time, he’s often outdoors with his two daughters, taking them on road trips to explore their native state of Texas. Jake enjoys traveling, cycling, hiking, surfing, skiing, sailing, and anything that gets him outside!

"Don’t Tell Comedy" Show!

Don’t Tell Comedy brings live comedy experiences to cities across the nation. They showcase the best of the next generation of stand up comedians through secret pop-up shows in unique locations. Bisnow exclusive Don't Tell Comedy show will include top-notch comedians traveling in from various cities. Don't Tell Comedy is a grassroots organization that brings together comedians, hosts, and guests, for mysterious nights full of laughter, friendship and good vibes. This night will be sure to provide laughs, delicious bites, and great drinks!

We hosted more than 72,000 attendees live, in-person around the globe in 2021. Our commitment to safety is no different in 2022. Our events follow all local Covid-19 regulations and protocols. In the interest of the safety of all our guests, we recommend taking a rapid or PCR test for proof of negative results before attending any gathering.
