responsible for overseeing a variety of project aspects of building systems consulting, design,

and engineering, promoting continuous communication, collaboration, and innovative solutions

along the way. His expansive portfolio spans both renovation and new construction of

hospitality-focused projects including urban center lodging, exclusive resort properties, resort-

adjacent amenities, and luxury residences.

Andrea Schaub has dedicated more than 30 years to the design of hospitality

environments that connect people to place while fostering a sense of comfort,

discovery, and well-being. A national hospitality leader at Cooper Carry, she brings a

thoughtful design approach to creating memorable guest experiences through

architecture that is both purposeful and emotionally resonant.

Since joining the firm in 2005, Andrea has helped establish and grow the Hospitality

studio in the Washington, DC office, leading design efforts across a diverse portfolio of

more than 60 hotel and conference center projects. Her work includes notable

destinations such as the Hilton at the Main in Norfolk, VA; the Norterra Hotel, an

AC/Element dual-brand property in North Phoenix; and the ongoing expansion of the

Inn at Little Washington, VA. Through each project, she focuses on crafting

environments that elevate the guest experience while supporting a sense of balance,

connection, and well-being.

Michelle Carpenter is an economic development leader with Pinal County, Arizona, where she is helping shape one of the fastest-growing regions in the Southwest into a premier destination for investment, tourism, and hospitality. She brings more than 20 years of experience in luxury travel, tourism, and the entertainment industry, giving her a unique lens on what today’s high-end traveler and hospitality operators are looking for.

In her role with the county, Michelle works at the intersection of public and private sectors to attract innovative, high-quality development and to position Pinal County as a strategic bridge between Phoenix and Tucson. Her work emphasizes experiential travel, wellness-driven destinations, and projects that align with the region’s natural beauty and long-term growth.

She has been instrumental in advancing standout hospitality concepts, including luxury wellness projects like the Tela Peralta eco-resort near the Superstition Mountains, as well as the Windmill Oasis Resort adjacent to the Windmill Winery in Florence—both designed to deliver immersive, destination-driven experiences rooted in the Sonoran Desert landscape.

Chris Loeffler has served as the CEO and Chairman of Caliber’s Board of Directors since its inception. As CEO, Chris directs and executes global strategy, oversees investments and fund management, and contributes to private and public capital formation. As a Co-Founder, Chris took an early role in forming the Company’s financial and operational infrastructure and navigating the vertical integration of all real estate and investment services.

Prior to forming Caliber, Chris served as an Assurance Associate at PwC in Phoenix, Arizona, completing public company audits, developing control systems, and completing several acquisition or sale transactions. Some of Chris' clients included Honeywell International, Inc., CSK Auto Inc., Verizon Communications, Inc., Republic Services, Inc., Car Wash Partners, Inc., and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Chris also attended Universidad Complutense de Madrid (University of Madrid) in Madrid, Spain. In addition, Chris is the Co-Founder and former Board Director for Qwick, Inc., a venture-funded hospitality staffing marketplace, a Board Director for ZenniHome, Inc., a housing-tech startup and a Board Director and Treasurer for the Mesa Police Foundation.

Held key positions, including Managing Director at Rockbridge Capital, where he was responsible for the financial performance of 75+ Hotel investments with over $3.0 Billion dollars in Capitalization

Prior experience includes positions as Vice President of 360 Real Estate Corporation, Vice President at Enchantment Group (now Tanzerra Resorts), and Vice President of Asset Management at Trinity Hotel Investors.

Holds a B.S. in Hospitality Management from Florida International University and a certificate in Real Estate Finance from New York University.

Kevin serves as the Vice President of Hospitality Development for Jackson Shaw Company, a 54-year-old real estate development firm based in Dallas, Texas. Kevin is responsible for identifying new hotel development opportunities, site selection, entitlements, budgeting, scheduling, design, construction, and asset management of hospitality projects across the United States.

Most recently, Kevin completed the development of the AC by Marriott and Element by Westin Symphony Park dual brand hotel in Las Vegas, the first AC Hotel in Las Vegas and the largest AC Element dual brand hotel in Marriott’s portfolio. The property is a finalist for the 2026 ALIS Development of the Year Award. Kevin also completed the development of the AC by Marriott and Element by Westin Phoenix North – Norterra, a finalist for the 2026 AZRE RED Awards. He has also worked on the AC Hotel in downtown Fort Worth, the Auberge Bowie House Hotel in Fort Worth, and the W Hotel and Residences in downtown Austin.

Kevin holds a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Haleigh Hildebrand serves as AHLA's Vice President of Communications.

In this role, Haleigh spearheads AHLA’s political engagement strategy on behalf of the association at the federal, state and local level. She works closely with candidates, political committees, and other associations. Haleigh oversees the vision and fundraising for HotelPAC, AHLA’s bipartisan political action committee. Haleigh leads AHLA’s national and state issue advocacy campaigns, including alternative accommodations, immigration, music licensing, safety & security, and more.

Haleigh has almost ten years political experience running campaigns for political candidates and independent expenditure campaigns. Haleigh has spearheaded paid media campaigns for all levels of the electoral ballot including presidential, gubernatorial, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, state legislative, mayoral and city council candidates.

Adrienne (Kautzman) Andrews is Managing Director with JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group and Phoenix Capital Markets teams based in Phoenix, AZ. Mrs. Andrews has been in the hotel space for 14 years and has closed over $1 billion in hotel loans during her time as an intermediary. Andrews focuses on debt advisory transactions in the Western U.S. with a particular emphasis on growing the group’s select-service presence in the region.

Mrs. Andrews works with regional owners, publicly traded entities, and private equity clients. Adrienne’s background in both credit and originations at a balance sheet lender provides a unique perspective and expertise of value to both her clients and her lending relationships. Adrienne has a deep respect for collaboration and bringing the best solution to her clients resulting in repeat business with her clients, colleagues, and lenders.

Mrs. Andrews’ prior work experience includes CBRE Institutional Group where she ranked as a Top Producer nationally, locally, and within the Hotel Elite. Before joining CBRE, Mrs. Andrews spent five years at Berkadia, where she was Managing Director for the Berkadia Hotels & Hospitality Group, and was responsible for growing the hotel platform by providing financing solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners throughout the U.S. Before her work as in intermediary, she was Managing Director at GE Franchise Finance Hotel Lending Group, originating senior debt on balance sheet for individual assets and portfolios of nationally franchised select-service and extended-stay hotels, with loans ranging in size from $5 million to $160 million.
