Robert Lee

With over 25 years of real estate investment experience, Robert Lee is part of HPA’s executive leadership team, where he drives strategy across acquisitions, dispositions, capital formation, and transaction structuring. He also serves as Co-President and CIO of HPA Exchange, LLC, the firm’s 1031 investor platform. Since 2015, HPA has acquired more than $550 million in assets. Prior to HPA, Lee founded and led a real estate investment banking platform focused on institutional capital placement and advisory for private and public real estate companies. Over his career, he has worked with multiple platforms, advising on or placing more than $4 billion of capital for institutional and private investors. Lee is also a co-founder of Vital Capital Partners which launched in 2024 and has acquired over $48 mm in assets since the fall of 2024 in the core-plus healthcare real estate sector. Lee holds a BA in Business (Marketing) from Eastern Kentucky University and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Management. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), former President of CCIM Greater Southern California, and Chairman Emeritus of the Graziadio Alumni Network. He is also active in YPO and is an honorary Kentucky Colonel. HPA is a vertically integrated Southern California-based healthcare real estate operator and investor with national healthcare system relationships. The firm leverages vertically integrated investment, management, and development capabilities to create value. With deep expertise in healthcare and real estate investment, Lee targets markets with strong growth fundamentals, enhancing healthcare delivery through acquiring or developing outpatient and post-acute inpatient assets throughout the southwest and Southeast of the United States.
