Laura Ortiz is a Managing Principal and oversees the firm’s retail developments and its Development Managers. Her responsibilities also include new client development and relationship management, tenant lease negotiations, and developing and implementing tools and systems for the management of Evergreen’s projects. Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Economics from the University of Arizona. She has been with Evergreen since 1994.

A key player in the Southwest Region’s growth during the past 15 years, Chuck now serves as the region’s leader. As President of the Southwest Region, he oversees team members from all of Ryan’s services and works closely with the entire regional leadership team to purposefully grow the region in concert with the company’s strategic direction. Chuck is also responsible for developing strong, productive relationships with partners and market players across the spectrum. He brings 25 years and over 25 million square feet of project experience—all at Ryan—to his new role, including deep expertise in design, development, construction management and leadership. Under his guidance, the Southwest Region supported Ryan’s expansion into the West, Northwest and Rocky Mountain Regions— forming the Western Division and growing the Southwest Region from $100M to more than $800M in the entire division. Each of those new regions were staffed and led in part by Chuck’s trained construction teams, while he held direct responsibility for each of those teams until the regional offices were formally established. He has a reputation for leading with integrity and trust.

Justin Stewart is the CEO and Owner of 8-time National Excellence in Construction Award winning Synergy, Inc, and industry disrupting Synergy Modular. Synergy has built over 10,000 units and countless commercial projects as a GC over the last three decades in the Pacific Northwest. In 2017, in response to a demand for predictability, Justin founded Synergy Modular, building projects at a fixed cost, in 30-50% less time.

Kristen Terjesen is the mastermind behind all of Studio 10’s projects, ranging from all aspects of master planned communities, clubhouses, sales centers, model homes, commercial and hospitality projects to high end custom homes and remodels. With over eighteen years of experience in interior design and interior architecture, Kristen works hand-in-hand with her talented design team to meet each clients’ design, market, and financial goals.

Kristen began her design training at Colorado State University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and Construction Management. She founded Studio 10 in 2008 due to the national economic downturn. Over the past twelve years she has built a company and team that brings beauty, efficiency, and professionalism to each and every project. She is NCIDQ certified and has spent the last decade designing interior experiences that seamlessly blend form and function.

Jeff Foster, Vice President, Market Officer is responsible for

overseeing leasing and operations for the 17.5 million square foot Phoenix, Arizona market portfolio.

Mr. Foster joined Prologis in May 2005 as a market representative in the Southern California office

and was promoted to Market Officer and relocated to Phoenix in 2008. From 2011 through 2017, he

was also Market Officer overseeing the Las Vegas portfolio concurrently while overseeing the

Phoenix portfolio.

Before joining Prologis in 2005, Mr. Foster was an industrial broker at CBRE in Torrance, CA, and

has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Before CBRE, he was a

Data/Voice sales representative for AT&T and previously an Account Executive for a Clear Channel

radio station in Los Angeles, California.

Mr. Foster received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa

Barbara. He served as a board member of the NAIOP Arizona chapter from 2018 through 2023 and

previously served as a board member of the Southern Nevada chapter from 2014-2017. He

continues to be actively involved with NAIOP Arizona on committees for both Best of NAIOP and the

annual Golf Tournament.

Michael Clark

Michael Clark joined Mutual Development in April, 2016 to focus on single tenant and multi tenant development throughout California and the southwest. His focus is on site identification and entitlements for the company. Prior to joining Mutual Development, Michael worked for over 18 years in industrial and retail brokerage, most recently with the Velocity Retail Group in Phoenix, Arizona since 2002 specializing in retail tenant representation. He also worked closely with Accelerated Development Services, utilizing his background in finance to provide underwriting and proforma analysis as well as his extensive background in leasing power centers and neighborhood shopping centers. Michael is originally from Columbus, Ohio, where he specialized in commercial industrial real estate before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2002. Having a long career in brokerage, Michael has represented numerous landlords such as Prologis, Duke Realty, First Industrial, Principal Financial Group, Sears Holdings Company, ScanlanKemperBard Companies, RED Development Cypress Equities, Evergreen Devco, Kornwasser Shopping Center Properties, Mutual Development Company, the Silk Stewart Development Group, and tenants in the west and southwest, including CVS/pharmacy, Quick Quack Car Wash, Mattress Firm, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Paradise Bakery Café, Rudy’s Barbeque, Carl’s Jr., Del Taco, Fatburger, and Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill.

Michael is a graduate of the Ohio State University (BSBA Real Estate and Urban Analysis). He lives in Scottsdale with his young daughter, Reese.

Bryce Hall is an accomplished architect and executive with more than 20 years of experience in residential architecture. As the President of KEPHART, he guides the strategic vision and direction of the firm, providing support for eight additional Principals who help drive KEPHART’s success. Bryce’s contagious passion and deep knowledge of the industry inspires his peers to pursue continuous growth and education.

Bryce attended the University of Colorado, where he earned master’s degrees in both architecture and business administration, allowing him to understand the industry more comprehensively from the perspective of both an architect and a developer. His enthusiasm for these two interests, combined with his deep understanding of client needs, have helped solidify KEPHART as the architect of choice for many national developers.

Bryce’s exemplary skills and leadership have earned him recognition as the President of one of Denver’s Best Places to Work, and as a leader in the field of architecture on ColoradoBiz’s 2025 Architects Power List. Bryce also represents and shares KEPHART’s thought leadership on a national stage at events like the National Multifamily Housing Conference and the Pacific Coast Builders’ Conference.
