Paul is the founding chief executive of the Center City District, serving in that capacity since January 1991. The CCD is a $22 million downtown management district, which provides security, cleaning, place marketing and planning services, as well as streetscape and park improvements for the central business district of Philadelphia.

Daniel Moore is the Officer in charge of new business initiatives and capital relationships for Hines' Mid-Atlantic office. He is a member of the firm's Investments & Performance and Finance Committees. Daniel has his Series 7 and 63 licensed with Hines Securities, Inc., the broker/dealer affiliate of Hines.

Hines is a privately owned real estate firm involved in real estate investment, development and property management worldwide.

As Managing Director of Retail Services, Steven Gartner leads CBRE’s retail brokerage

platform throughout the region, driving growth and creating a cohesive and collaborative

service offering for retail clients.

Steve’s entire professional career has been dedicated to the commercial real estate

industry. Prior to joining CBRE in 2014 as Executive Vice President of Retail, Steve

served as President and Partner of Metro Commercial Real Estate, and before that, he

was chief Operating Officer of Michael Salove Company (now MSC Retail). He has

orchestrated the expansion of significant retailers at various times including: Gap, Inc.

(and all of its brands), Kohls, Marshalls/TJ Maxx, Crate & Barrel, Citibank, and Hollywood

Video. His leasing activities have focused on high-street and premium properties including

Suburban Square on Philadelphia’s Main Line, one of the first shopping centers in

America. Other Agency clients have included Forest City, Kimco, and Brandywine Realty

Trust.

In Center City Philadelphia, he has negotiated leases involving Intermix, Athleta, Allen

Edmonds, Camper, Cheesecake Factory, Gap, Banana Republic, Verizon, Jack Wills,

True Religion Jeans, Cosi, Max Brenner, CVS, and Walgreen’s. He brokered two of the

largest shopping center sales in recent years, the sale of Riverview Plaza & Columbus

Crossing for $75 million, and the sale of Quartermaster Plaza for $91 million, both

purchased by Cedar Shopping Centers.

Steve is a past PA/NJ/DE chair for The International Council of Shopping Centers. He has

served as an expert contributor to The Wall Street Journal, Good Day Philadelphia, and as

a guest lecturer at The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, Columbia

University, and George Washington University, his alma mater.

Matthew N. McClure is Team Leader of the firm's Zoning and Land Use Team. He counsels developers, nonprofits, and universities on a full range of real estate matters. His practice heavily emphasizes development, land use, zoning, and historic preservation matters. Mr. McClure has represented developer and institutional clients in significant urban redevelopment efforts, with high profile historic preservation issues, and in successful land use appellate matters.

Before joining the firm, Mr. McClure handled media relations for the U.S. Conference of Mayors and worked in the Office of then-Mayor Edward G. Rendell.

Mr. Killinger is responsible for leading a team of experienced development and construction professionals for National Real Estate Development, National Real Estate Advisors’ (National), wholly-owned development management subsidiary.

National Development provides development and construction related management of selected projects across the country on behalf of National. In this role, Mr. Killinger oversees a $1 billion project portfolio, comprising two million square feet of mixed-use and residential space in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Philadelphia. Prior to this, he oversaw National Development’s East Market project in Philadelphia, PA as Director of Development. Mr. Killinger has diverse experience as a real estate professional in both the oversight of the design and development of urban, mixed-use projects as well as in the investment and asset management of residential and office buildings.

Prior to joining National Real Estate Development, Mr. Killinger was a Managing Director for Goldman Properties in New York, NY. At Goldman, he oversaw several development projects including 25 Bond Street and the repositioning of 110 Greene Street, both in New York, NY. He also consulted on numerous mixed-use urban development projects along the east coast. Mr. Killinger later joined Edison Properties in Newark, NJ as the Executive Vice President for Real Estate Planning and Development. At Edison, he was responsible for the entitlement, design and feasibility for the development of a portfolio of mixed use residential buildings in New York, NY and Newark, NJ. Mr. Killinger began his career as an architect with Kohn Pederson Fox Associates in New York, NY.

Mr. Killinger received a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and is a frequent participant in Columbia’s Real Estate Round Table series. He also received a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University.

Pete is a partner of SSH Real Estate. Since joining the company in 2002, he has helped expand the company from brokerage only, to a full-service real estate organization. Under Pete’s leadership, SSH Real Estate has become the largest independent commercial real estate firm in the Philadelphia region.

Pete leads the acquisitions and asset management for SSH Investments’ 2.3 million SF office portfolio in Philadelphia and Washington D.C. In addition, he fills a variety of roles within the Brokerage division, and is active in servicing clients. Since he began his career in commercial real estate, Pete has completed over 500 transactions, totaling over 12 million square feet.

Pete came to SSH Real Estate after spending nine years at The Flynn Company – a Philadelphia based commercial real estate development and brokerage company, where he was a Partner. Pete got his start in real estate in the residential market, working for his family’s business, Avalon Real Estate Agency in Avalon, New Jersey.

Mr. Botel founded JOSS Realty Partners in 2005. He oversees all company investment and management activities. Since inception JOSS has acquired 18 office assets totaling over 2.5 million square feet with a value in excess of $750 million in New York City, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and Miami. Prior to JOSS, he spent three years as the Chief Operating Officer at Broadway Partners, where he oversaw all operations, staffing, asset management and underwriting activities. Mr. Botel directed Broadway from a sole proprietorship with limited operating capability to a full service real estate investment company owning 3.6 million square feet of commercial office space valued at over $850 million.From 1997 to 1999 he was a Vice President and Head of Real Estate at Fortress Investment Group / UBS Global Principal Group / BlackRock Capital Finance. Mr. Botel held previous positions at Mutual of New York Real Estate and Prudential Realty Group. Mr. Botel is also a General Partner of two affiliated Minor League Baseball teams, the Richmond Flying Squirrels (SF Giants AA) and the Omaha Storm Chasers (KC Royals AAA).Mr Botel received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in 1993 and B.S.B.A from Georgetown University in 1988 and currently serves on the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business (MSB) Board of Advisors and Executive Committee for the MSB Real Estate Initiative.

Michael Prifti is an architect of significant diversity with architectural experience in new construction and adaptive re-use projects for institutional and development clients, with single-purpose and mixed-use programs. Mr. Prifti is proficient in complex project management and taking plans from concept to completion.

Mr. Prifti and BLTa recently completed the Revel Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. He led the team responsible for ensuring that all 65 architecture, design, and construction partners worked together to deliver Revel on time and within budget. Additionally, he was crucial in the design of the back-of-house facilities, making it one of the most impressive and efficient in the industry.

Additionally, Mr. Prifti has extensive mixed-use experience which includes the design of DC USA, a transit-oriented retail complex in Washington, DC and the in-progress One-2-FiveLIVE a 28,000 square foot retail and entertainment complex in Harlem, NY. DC USA has revitalized an area that had seen a troubled economic environment and One-2-Five LIVE anticipates to do the same.

Mr. Prifti has received a number of honors and awards, including the Thomas Ustick Walter Award in 2010, the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 2005, Architect of the Year from the Coalition of Commercial Real Estate Association in 2004 and 1999, and the Richard Upjohn Fellowship from the American Institute of Architects in 2002. He earned both his Master of Architecture and BA degrees from The University of Pennsylvania.
