David is the Founder and Managing Partner at MMPartners, a vertically integrated commercial real estate development company having raised over $45M of capital and has invested in over $90M of real estate assets in the Philadelphia CBD market. David is responsible for fundraising, directing acquisitions and financing and leading the strategic direction of the team.

David is a former University Merit Scholar at Boston University, from which he graduated with a B.A. in Urban Studies and Public Policy. David has also successfully completed New York University’s Real Estate Finance and Investment graduate level coursework. Previously, he worked at Switzenbaum & Associates and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. David is an active member of ULI.

John William Chin is the Executive Director of PCDC, where he oversees all projects and programs. He is a native of Chinatown, Philadelphia and attended Holy Redeemer School and Friends Select School. He serves on the Board of several nonprofit organizations including the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations, Friends Select School, and PHL Diversity. He is a board member of the Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and is a member of National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (National CAPACD). He is committed to the preservation and growth of Chinatown for new immigrants, as it was a gateway to success for his family. In his spare time, he enjoys crime procedurals, basketball and cooking for his family.

Leonidas Addimando (“Leo” for short) is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Alterra Property Group, LLC (“Alterra”). In addition to experience with a diverse range of real estate product types, Leo has also invested in over 15 states, built over 1,000 residential units, structured complex tax credit transactions, and overseen all aspects of numerous real estate development projects. Previously, Leo was an early employee of Orbitz.com, serving the company for three years in numerous business and corporate development capacities. Leo’s largest accomplishment while at Orbitz was spearheading the development and implementation of both a travel insurance re-sale business, and a hotel business, that together served as key profitability drivers which helped Orbitz to complete a successful IPO in 2003. Before working at Orbitz, Leo worked as an Associate for the Boston Consulting Group in various management consulting capacities, and across numerous industry groups. Prior to that, he was the co-founder of both a media start-up and an internet start-up. Leo has an MBA from the Harvard Business School (“HBS”) and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan. Leo is a Board Member of the Preservation Alliance of Greater Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Building Industry Association, and the Old City District. Leo is a native of Center City Philadelphia and currently resides there with his wife (Brigitte Castaing Addimando, HBS ’05) and three children (Nico, Marcus & Sophie). In his spare time, Leo enjoys spending time with his family, golf, running, attending live sporting events and travel.

Mr. Neal I. Rodin has been the President of IFC (international financing and investing) since 1975. Mr. Rodin has been the Managing Director of The Rodin Group (international real estate investment) since 1988. He served as a Director of Republic First BanCorp. Inc. and its subsidiary Republic Bank from 1988 to February 21, 2012.

Ahsan Nasratullah

Ahsan Nasratullah, the founder and president of JNA CAPITAL, Inc., has twenty-seven years of

experience in urban planning, development, and real estate finance. JNA Capital sources debt

and equity for real estate projects both for its own account and for a selected group of

developers/non-profit sponsors in the area. Before starting JNA CAPITAL, he served as the

Executive Director of PRP, Inc. where he managed over $33 Million in development using

public/private funding.

Mr. Nasratullah has developed several urban mixed-use/hospitality projects in and around

academic campuses and in collaborations with local institutions. Highlights amongst them

include:

The Shops at Liacouras Walk at Temple University, The Conwell Inn at Temple University, The Hub on Chestnut at University of Pennsylvania campus, Distrito – Modern Mexican Restaurant co-owned with Chef Jose Garces, and 3939 Chestnut Street at University of Pennsylvania campus.

The firm strives to achieve significant economic impact through effective use of scale, design,

programming, and partnerships. He serves on the Board of several local institutions including:

Past President, Mt. Airy USA CDC; Past President, CCW, Inc. - a CDFI; Director, Philadelphia

Development Partnership; Director, United Bank of Philadelphia (2003-2008); and Director,

Philadelphia Zoological Society (2007-2011). He has been guest speaker on real estate & urban

development topics at Temple University, University of Pennsylvania/Wharton School, and

Cliveden of the National Trust; speaker/presenter at various professional conferences on

matters of urban finance and urban design.

In 2013, he launched a multi-state EB-5 Regional Center – Global City Regional Center LLC, to

source foreign investor capital for job creating projects and businesses in Pennsylvania and

New Jersey.

He holds a Masters of Urban Planning degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, a

Bachelor of Science Degree in Humanities from the Lawrence University, MI, & completed Two

Year Architecture Program at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
