The Curtis

The Curtis

The Curtis is a Philadelphia landmark that originally housed Curtis Publishing Company, producer of beloved publications like The Saturday Evening Post and Ladies’ Home Journal. Today, the iconic building has been reinvented into a mixed-use property with life science space, creative office, luxury residential, retail, and public parking. The Curtis’ origins as a printing facility offer infrastructure uniquely supportive of lab space—vibration-resistant, high-capacity weight-bearing floors once required for printing presses; 15-foot ceiling heights; fresh air intakes; dual power supply; backup emergency power; loading and freight elevators; and venting chases. The Curtis’ life science tenant roaster includes Imvax, Vivodyne, and Aro Biotherapeautics, as well as INQ Labs, the building’s plug-and-play incubator suites.
