James J. Mazzarelli, Jr. is senior vice president and regional director, responsible for Liberty's Eastern portfolio (48+ MSF) and has overseen the development of more than 12 MSF of industrial, flex and office buildings during his 28 years with Liberty. Mr. Mazzarelli joined Liberty's predecessor, Rouse & Associates, in 1987 as a leasing representative. Prior to joining Rouse & Associates, he served as a civil engineer and project manager for Taylor, Wiseman and Taylor Consulting Engineers and as an environmental engineer for General Development Corporation in Miami, FL. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from the Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, FL, a professional engineering license from the Commonwealth of PA, and real estate licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Mazzarelli has been lecturing on development at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania for 24 years.

Ben Cohen

Mr. Cohen has worked in investment real estate since 1997. Since co-founding Endurance Real Estate Group in 2002, Mr. Cohen has spent the majority of his time sourcing new acquisition opportu­nities ($300MM plus since inception), as well as establishing and maintain­ing new relationships with Endurance’s various capital partners and lenders. Mr. Cohen is also an integral part of the asset management team providing leas­ing, financial and marketing oversight for Endurance’s portfolio. Prior to co-found­ing Endurance Mr. Cohen most recently worked for RFR Holdings, a major pri­vately owned development firm based in New York City whose portfolio consisted of over 6 million square feet of Manhat­tan office space. While at RFR, Mr. Cohen worked on Acquisitions and Asset Man­agement, including leasing, recapitaliza­tion and disposition analysis.

Prior to RFR, Mr. Cohen spent two years working at Fortis Advisers in Acquisitions and Asset Management with Mr. White. Mr. Cohen worked on the underwriting of development and acquisition deals for joint venture equity financing. Prior to working at Fortis, Mr. Cohen spent two years at Ernst & Young Kenneth Lev­enthal Real Estate Group working as a senior auditor for major development clients such as Tishman Speyer and SL Green Realty.

Mr. Cohen received his Masters of Sci­ence in Real Estate Development from New York University and his B.S in Ac­counting from Tulane University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Reid Townsend

D. Reid Townsend has 20 years of experience in commercial real estate development and investment. He co-founded MRP Industrial in 2013 and has primary responsibility for the sourcing, design, construction, leasing and overall financial performance of the company’s portfolio. In his career, Reid has managed the development of over 12 Million square feet of commercial real estate with a stabilized value of nearly $1.5 Billion.

Prior to MRP Industrial, Reid founded the Maryland/Pennsylvania office as a Partner at Panattoni Development Company. During his five years at Panattoni, he grew the local operation into the most profitable business unit within the company, establishing a pipeline of over 4.5 Million square feet with a stabilized value in excess of $350 Million. Prior to joining Panattoni, Reid worked with the founding partners of MRP Realty at Trammell Crow Company in Washington DC. During his eight years there, Reid served the firm’s institutional capital partners on a wide variety of office, industrial and health care projects. He began his career as a Project Manager with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in Baltimore.

Reid received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
