Maria Sourbeer has made a career out of bridging the gap between her capabilities as an architect/developer and her responsibilities as a community member. She believes that a beautiful and well-designed space has a positive influence on a basic human level. She's carried this idea through from her experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer, to her current position as Executive Vice President of Development for Mosaic Development Partners.

At Mosaic, Maria leads the community development team, guiding development strategy and execution through construction completion and stabilization. She also serves as mentor and cross-collaborator for the team to ensure the highest standard of quality is continuously delivered on projects. Together with the Mosaic team, Maria finds creative ways to develop real estate and bring jobs, homes and commercial enterprise to challenged urban neighborhoods.

Maria has over 20 years of professional experience and continues to grow through her love of family, work and play. Outside of Mosaic, she dedicates volunteer efforts to the Community Design Collaborative, Norris Square Community Alliance, Impact Loan Fund and the South Philly Food Coop.

Lisa Shulock is Director of Commercial Programs for the Philadelphia Energy Authority (PEA). She

oversees the Philadelphia C-PACE program and leads PEA’s commercial solar initiative. She is an

experienced program manager with expertise in sustainability and clean energy. Prior to joining PEA full-

time she served as a program consultant to PEA and to Indigenized Energy, research project manager at

Penn State, and sustainability consultant for several design and engineering firms. Lisa was the founding

executive director of Tech Impact which enables nonprofits’ use of technology to expand the reach and

impact of their work. She is an accredited LEED AP O+M. Lisa was elected to the Green Building United

Board of Directors in 2019 and currently serves as Chair. Lisa has her MBA from Yale University and BA

from the University of Vermont.

Jeanne joined Fulton Bank in November 2017 as the Commercial Community Development Lending Officer for the Greater Philadelphia region. In this role, Jeanne provides financing for affordable housing and economic development projects serving low- to moderate-income communities utilizing various tax credit and tax advantaged programs. Much of Jeanne’s banking career, which spans over 35 years and a variety of positions, has been actively involved in community and economic development activities in Philadelphia. Her current volunteer activities include serving on the board and as Treasurer for Community Lenders CDC, serving on the board of Entrepreneur Works and the Entrepreneur Works Fund and serving on the board and as Treasurer of Germantown Cricket Club.

Paul Thompson joined Twain Financial in 2019 and is responsible for origination throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Paul has a range of experience in national, regional, and community banking as well as commercial mortgage brokerage. His history with investment structures have involved senior and mezzanine financing, in addition to both private and tax-credit equity for commercial real estate and renewable energy projects. Clients include private equity funds, REITs, real estate development firms, and health care companies. Paul lived in Philadelphia for 10 years and earned a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.

Leslie started her real estate career at the Goldenberg Group, a regional mid-sized real estate development firm located in Blue Bell, PA, as an Associate Development Director. During her 7-year tenure, she was promoted three times ultimately achieving the position of Senior Vice-President of Development. Leslie led the development of a $50 million, 342,000 square foot shopping center, the largest single development in West Philadelphia and the largest development in a Federal Empowerment zone located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In 2008, Leslie and her partner Gregory Reaves, established Mosaic Development Partners. Since its founding, Mosaic has developed over $54 million in real estate projects and has created over 200 construction jobs and 100 full-time jobs. Leslie is a graduate of Brown University and Villanova School of Law.
